What an incredible cookbook! It is clear how passionate the author Jill is about creating these recipes for the enjoyment of others. The book is filled with tons of quick & simple recipes from breakfast, to dinner and everything in between. And Most importantly, the recipes are absolutely delicious!! Just reading through and gazing at the pictures had our mouths watering- everything sounds so good that it was so hard to pick a first one to try! We went with the cover recipe: our plates were scraped clean and we felt amazing after, not weighed down after most of the meals we cook at home together. My fiancé and I are not even vegans, but we have been making an effort to become more eco-conscious and limit animal and animal byproduct consumption, so Jills cookbook has made this journey so much easier for us. I am not a vegan nor am I gluten free, but a friend gave this for me and I love it! Everything I have made from it has been super easy to make and delicious. The writer does a great job of keeping the recipes simple and the ingredients are easy to find at most regular grocery stores. My favorite thing so far is the pot pie soup. Sooooo good.
All recipes are nice and easy. I wish there were more options, because I have made several of them before reading this cookbook. However I did eat a whole apple pie within an hour of trying one of these recipes, so that’s a 5/5 lol.
This is a great cookbook for vegans and non-vegans. Me personally, not vegan, but the food is absolutely delicious! I bought one for myself and 2 as gifts. It’s definitely work every dollar!!!
