disappointing

I had really hoped that this book would move beyond this. But honestly, you could actually skip this book and go straight to the third because nothing of any real consequence happens. I think I’m done with this series. I haven’t even read the third book and I’m not planning on it.

I'm liking this series. There's echoes of various other books I've read before, but they're all weaved together into a whole that is unique, and interesting. I'm looking forward to more in this series.

Excellent

This novel rides on the coattails of the first novel. The characters are expanded on and the reader become attached. The story is fast paced and filled with twists and turns.

The second book was just as good as the first!

Very exciting. A definite page turner. None of the characters were annoying or whiny or overly cute. I am looking forward to the next book.
