I’ve known Jaime Jay for a while now and I’m always excited when I get to chat with him. I love his passion to help others, his authentic way about him, his vulnerability, and his creative & innovative way of thinking. I knew this book would encompass all of that, plus his curiosity about others. Quit Repeating Yourself did not disappoint. This is a great read, written in an easy conversational style, that will teach and inspire you. Even if you’re not a serial entrepreneur like Jaime, you’ll find some great insight in this gem.

This is an easy read that is full of practical advice from a person who has learned through the School of Hard Knocks. Jaime is a geek at heart when it comes to setting up "The System" which is the foundation of any business. He enjoys breaking down every aspect of your business and defining every single step along the way to alleviate confusion and to establish a well-thought-out and organized plan. He discusses a system-driven foundation that will give you the confidence to scale your business effectively.
"Quit Repeating Yourself" teaches you the importance of documenting anything you find yourself doing more than once. Jaime will teach you how to build a strong company foundation using small and actionable steps by creating systems, processes, workflows, along with a video library documenting every task/step.
Jaime focuses on three main areas of development in the book which include Culture/Leadership, Systems/Processes, and Recruiting/Hiring.
Jaime founded Bottleneck Distant Assistants in 2015 to help entrepreneurs stop the bottleneck in their business. Bottleneck is a remote-based staffing agency where we help business leaders focus on doing their best work and stop doing the wrong things. Bottleneck vets, trains, and cultivates dedicated distant assistants for their clients. They focus on training our clients on the art of delegation and on how to hire and train team members the right way.
Jaime can often be found coaching Bottleneck clients on the "Art of Delegation" and how to document "Systems, Processes, and Workflows" for their businesses.
This is a MUST READ if you want to effectively scale a new business!

I enjoyed Jaime's book. He included insightful ways to rethink the way we do things in business and in life. He has become successful in his work because he is smart and talented, but his success is also due to the fact that he believes in doing the right things, whether for clients, employees and for ourselves.
