PLOT: Can love happen twice? No, this is not only the title of Ravindra Singh's book but also a question that haunts those who have been unlucky in love so far. Some lose their faith in love and some hold onto that hope. Our protagonist Anushkaa is the later one. She didn't stop believing in love even after going through all the hardships of her past relationship. As she meet Abhimanyu, she felt a connection that she couldn't dismiss. But, life is not always roses and rainbows.
Will Anushkaa find her love again? Will she have her happily ever after?

REVIEW: ● Long term relationship is something that is brought up by the author in this book and it engaged me immediately. In today's time this is something we all need to teach ourselves about because things work absolutely differently when you can see each other and when you cannot. Your whole relationship gets dependent on those text messages and calls. The author has pointed out all possible aspects in a satisfactory manner.
● All the emotions of love, life, hope are blended so perfectly in this book. You will be hooked by it till the very end. The format of those cute little chat boxed is something that I admire too. It brings out a sense of connection and frees the readers of all possible confusion.
● The language, the cover, the title, the writing style- everything is absolutely amazing and apt. Being a sucker if romance novels, I adore this book!!!!

This is the story of two ambitious and career-oriented adults Anushkaa and Abhimanyu. When Anushkaa, an author, who was mourning over her lost love, meets his publisher Abhimanyu for the first time at her book launch event sparks fly and they both feel connected, however, things were not that easy for them Anushkaa but Abhimanyu was determined to have Anushkaa in his life forever.
Can two career-oriented people find time for love?
Love stories that are more practical and have a touch of reality than some fairy tale where a princess finds her Prince Charming and live happily ever after is what attracts me and that's what I thought 'The Journey of Our Love' was about. But the story is way too bland and it turns out to be quite tedious for me.
The story, narrated from only Anushkaa's pov made the entire thing slow and as a monologue but the WhatsApp chat between the story was something that kept me going. The story could have held my attention if it was narrated from a third-person perspective or by both Anushka and Abhimanyu.
Although the language is easy and beginner-friendly and the execution is smooth which make this book is nice for new readers.

The Journey of Our Love by Deesha Sangani
The Journey of Our Love is an intriguing read, I liked the way the author narrated this story with very few characters, and the main highlight is the language which makes this book an engaging and entertaining read.
Going by the title it simply sounds like a love story, which it is but other than that it has so much more in it.
The story is about Anushkaa, who wants to become a writer, but her life is not easy. During her journey, she lost the love of her life Ayush.
Despite that, she did not give up on her dreams, nor did she stop believing in love.
In the process of publishing her book, she met Abhimanyu, a young and dynamic publisher, who helped her throughout and she started feeling for her. The story seems dreamy and full of various emotions, so follow the journey of Anushkaa and Abhimanyu in this sweet love story.
Overall a good engaging read.

This is a simple yet impressive love story. We all fall for a person with whom we can connect emotionally and that's what this story shows.
The opening scene is when Anushka is flying to Delhi for her book launch. Abhimanyu checks on her as she reached airport. Abhimanyu is owning the publishing house where the book is getting published. Anushka tries to maintain formal relation but when someone connects to our soul, other things flow smoothly. And they gradually fall in love. However, the turning point comes when Anushka gets a job abroad and we all know that long distance relationship are always hard. Sometimes love fades away and sometimes third person comes in between. So, what will happen to our protagonists? Will they make it together? Umm, you need to read this book to get to know.
Romance is one of my favorite genres. So I really enjoyed this story. The characters are very relatable. The story is true one as mentioned. The language is lucid. The writing style is flawless. The story flowed smoothly. It can be easily finished in one go on a cozy day. I would like to read other books by this author. Definitely recommend for romance readers!

I liked the scene where they say to each other they feel something for each other and I felt that if my love story would happen someday it will start like this as I feel that boy is me in that book.
I loved the book dearly and enjoyed every bit of it and kinda dreaming to have such a good love life.
This book can be finished in just one sit as the story is gripping and it touches the heart and I liked the way the author has weaved it.
It has been a delightful experience reading this book and if you are a romance lover then you should read this book and if you don't believe in love then reading this book you will start believing.

Many of us stop believing in love when they weren't able to find a good heart or even if they lost them permanently, but in the case of anushkaa, she didn't stop believing in love even if she lost the person she loved and trying to fulfil all her dreams which she had seen for herself.
She is a down to earth girl with a big heart and she is an author and recently she had signed a contract with a publisher and the head of the company Abhimanyu welcomed her with a good gesture.
Anushkaa in the curiosity to know about the company and the head checked Abhimanyu social media and kind of she felt a strong connection with him a stranger but she wanted to know him more and soon small chats became long hours chat and they felt good in the company of each other, Abhimanyu is a kind of an introvert and but in business, he is very passionate about his work.
They both had a past but with each other and they took time to open with each other like a step at once and talking casually and soon the day came when Abhimanyu shared his heart out to her but she didn't share her heart out because she wanted to very sure.
I loved the book dearly and enjoyed every bit of it and kinda dreaming to have such a good love life.

💐Abhimanyu, is a smart and charming guy who owned a publishing house of his own.
🍁Both these characters met each on professional grounds in regards of a book publishing event. But little did they know, that the meeting which started as a professional talk will bloom new buds of love in their hearts. And very soon they fell in love with each other.
🍁They both are quite different on certain grounds but in a way they are just perfect for each offer. Their chemistry is just dreamlike and the sequence in which the elements of love and emotions are explored in the book is something anyone can die for.

After reading author Deesha Sangani’s The Diary of My Love, I was looking forward to reading more from her because her character Anushkaa was a level-headed, mature and beautiful person, which was refreshing and good to read about. The Journey of Our Love takes Anushkaa’s story forward. After losing the love of her life before she could even confess her love, she has lost all hope and is in a sad state, when the smart and equally mature and loving Abhimanyu walks into her life.
Just like her previous book, Deesha’s writing in The Journey of Our Love is also simple, beautiful and relatable. While there were times when I felt that there were repetitive situations and conversations and the story didn’t seem to move forward, there were many adorable and extremely grown up instances that made the story interesting and wonderful. Anushkaa and Abhimanyu’s chemistry was hard to miss and filled with hope.
As a life coach, Deesha has very smoothly and organically added life lessons here and there in a manner that doesn’t seem imposing or preachy at all, but rather amicable and with good intent. Overall, The Journey of Our Love was a wonderful read packed with emotions, travel, fun and life lessons.

Long Distance relationships are hard but they're also incredible. If you can love, trust, respect and support each other from a distance, then you'll be unstoppable once you're both physically and emotionally connected together.

Anushkaa; a chirpy girl with big dreams and a bigger heart, lost the love of her life. Due to pathetic past, she couldn't move on and was carrying the baggage of bygone days. She buried herself into a busy working routine in order to heal the deep wounds of past.
Abhimanyu; a young and dynamic publisher who was handling his company with gusto. He too had miserable past events which usually haunts him and led to his frustation.
Both of them are equally passionate about work and achieving their dreams, cause they're imperfectly perfect for each other. 'Distance gives us a reason to live and love harder' !

The love story of Anushkaa & Abhimanyu both so different from each other, Anushkaa being a quieter person when hadn't even be able to tell the person she loved as he passed away, that did shatter her but she always believed in life's bigger plans. Abhimanyu on the other hand is a charismatic, dynamic individual who runs his own company and he is always the centre of attention.
So when then two opposites meet Sparks do fly. However they both have something in common , both have lost their loves one through death and other through betrayal.
Do they live happily ever after? What next after falling in love? What's the ending like?
The beautiful and quite emotional book did feel very very real, I am sure every individual will connect to it, the author has mentioned that it is based on a true story.
The storyline is very nice but what I liked even more is, the story is about hope, gratitude, live, relationships, family, work, career and so many more feelings at one go.
The writing is smooth and flow of the book is amazing. The growth of the characters is so easy and well done.

After a long week of some hectic reads I was looking for some light hearted romantic tale which can actually make me feel good and at the same time won't be too hard on my nerve cells. And this novel fulfills both the purposes beautifully.
Quite often it happens that after losing our loved one we kind of stop trusting people and create some sort of wall in front of us so that no one can enter that personal zone. Similar sentiments were echoed by the protagonist of this novel Anushkaa who after losing love of her life make herself so indulged in work that she doesn't have time to think of anything else. Then we have Abhimanyu, who is also dealing with a horrible past and trying his level best to come out of the rut. When both encounter each other sparks emerge and they start feeling pangs of affection. Will their love story have a happy closure? Grab the book to find out

I have read this author’s work and I loved it. so this is a must read for me. This book is based on true story and kind of sequel to “The diary of my love” but you can read independently. But if you want to read first book spoiler free then I recommend you to read that first. I will briefly summarise the blurb trying to avoid spoilers. Anushkaa is the protagonist of the story. Abhimanyu is another main character. He is the publisher of Good books. Anushkaa is travelling to Delhi for her book lanch in the opening scene and she is in contact with Abhimanyu through chat. She felt that Abhimanyu is down to earth human. He gave regular suggestions regarding book to her. Their chatting escalated to emotional attachment. I liked the cute long distant gesture such as sending flower and Anushkaa took her first bouquet to home. I like how author has portrayed long distance relationship through love, care, honesty, trust and little gestures. In today’s time, this is the most required literature that young people need. I liked how author has included cute little chat boxes. Because writing that can be risky. It might go wrong and people might feel bored to read. Author has done indeed good job in it. So hats off to that part. The language of the book is lucid so that everyone can pick it up. Author has presented story too beautifully. Overall good one. Recommended from my side.

Despite carrying the heavy baggages of the past, the two of them get connected soon. From their formal professional relationship, the bond between them develops into another level.

The emotional scars of both of them isn't elaborated much, but it is enough to get a vivid picture. I found a lot of contradicting points in the book. Initially, Anushkaa says that they have a strong bond, both emotionally and spiritually. At a later point, she says that she needs to know more about him to share about Abhimany with her parents. A couple of times, Anushkaa says that she is quite hurt because of something he said unintentionally in the course of their conversation. But she doesn't elaborate more than that. The conversations between them were initially very formal but later turned out to be very cheesy. Still, the author shares the positives needed for a strong relationship, like trust and financial plans. I had a little expectations from this book, but I didn't quite enjoy this book. Readers who like romance genre may like this book.

This one shows genuine doubts, insecurities, fights and crazy love. I learnt a lot of lessons, and imparted them in my life. The only things I didn’t like in the book are some cliche conversations. Not all conversations, but yeah, some of them really irritated me and seemed too cheesy. Apart from that, everything was great in the book and I absolutely enjoyed reading it. Give it a try if you believe in love.

When Anushkaa finally overcame her sorrows and started pursuing her dreams, she met Abhimanyu, an enterprising individual who runs a publishing company. Both Anushkaa and Abhimanyu has had a sorrowful past but will these young individuals give themselves a chance to heal and find their way to each other?

1) I liked the positive tonality with an undertone of motivation. The protagonists faced terrible incidents in their lives and then they picked themselves well to craft a better future.
2) The storyline is relatable and the anxiousness of the lovebirds while figuring out their feelings for each other has been crafted beautifully by the author.
3) The transitions are smooth and the continuity is maintained well.

As life moves on with her deepest secret being hidden from her loved ones, she happens to meet Abhimanyu, the publisher of her next book, a charming, dynamic guy and his persona being extremely contrasting to hers. Fortuitously, they fall in love with each other, accepting each other’s flaws and imperfections, until then, life has got them something huge unexpectedly.

The author’s simple and lucid method of writing which gives pleasantness to the reader. The other perspective which I personally felt is that the female protagonist’s (Anushka) character has been portrayed as self standing and powerful which is something unusual in romantic novels. The book has got an interesting story line of prevailing over the plight rather than hiding from it.

Anushkaa; a cheerful young lady with enormous dreams and a greater heart, lost her first love. Due to woeful past, she was unable to continue on and was conveying the things of former days. She covered herself into a bustling working daily schedule to recuperate the profound injuries of past.
Abhimanyu; a youthful and dynamic distributer who was taking care of his organization with energy. He too had hopeless previous occasions which ordinarily torment him and prompted his frustation.
The two of them are similarly enthusiastic with regards to work and accomplishing their fantasies, cause they're defectively ideal for one another. 'Distance gives us motivation to live and cherish more enthusiastically' !
A must read for all the ones struggling with long distance relationship or are in a happy relationship.

The whole book was written in the conversation style. I liked that engaging narration. It was written smoothly and beautifully.
What I didn't like:
Throughout the story, Anushkaa's fear of doubting Abhimanyu's love for her and being sceptical most of the time was mentioned many times. That was the little thing I found was too repetitive.
Overall, a feel good love based true story for all and for romance lovers.

🥂A true story that talks about love and long distance relationships. Anushka is a sweet and introvert girl with dreams in her eyes but is recovering from the loss of his loved one. She's a writer. Abhimanyu is the publisher of her book, extremely dedicated towards his work and a total gentleman. He has also faced hardships in love.
🥂Their professional relationship soon developed into attraction which gradually changed into love. I loved Abhimanyu's character a lot. His patience and caring nature was just so admirable and cute. He never failed to make time for her despite his busy schedule. I also liked Anushka's bond with her parents.
🥂The story is written mostly in the form of conversations which were engaging to read. Lucid language and well-paced story that talks about passion, corporate world, love, friendship, sacrifices, patience and much more.
🥂However, there were some repetitions at points which I felt a little monotonous and I also expected some more exciting twists and turns but since it's based on a true story, so can't do much about it. The writing style is gripping and it's a nice and cozy read for your weekend.

If I could sum up this review in a single line, I'd say that this book was a perfect blend of all emotions, be it love, betrayal, agony or fear. The author has managed to create a realistic world that addresses and pays homage to almost all the problems faced by the general population. The central theme of the book is career and how being career oriented can affect your relationships.
The Romance aspect of the book was heart-touching and relatable. Many people choose to end their long term relationships due to their career demands and that's alright. Though, very few people end up together anyway. I believe that the storyline was pretty amazing but it could've been executed in a better way. Towards the end, the plot loses its value and that is when it became mundane and unreasonably stretched.
The characters, despite being a little infuriating at times, were prone to taking mature decisions which, in my opinion, made them pretty likeable at the end of the day.
I would definitely be recommending it to people who are looking for a light read
