This was a well written book, it's just that I have a hard time reading to completion any book that is about theology and or philosophy. Offered some good insight into Saint Thomas Aquinas and the three things that he says are needed for contemplation.
I almost could give this a 4 star rating but some of the theology was a bit rough in patches for me. The book was the perfect length for an introduction to Aquinas who is a Doctor of the Catholic Church. I have been reading more quotes from Aquinas or he is cited in ways that made me want to explore his teachings more in depth. I would recommend this book. It is a great starting point. If you can do so, read it in its entirety in one sitting. It helped to do so.
