The Friction series of gay erotica presents the sexiest work of the top writers from the country’s most popular gay erotic magazines. It contains the best of the thousands of stories published in the past year. The stories in this collection are, simply put, the hottest in print. Jesse Grant is a writer and editor. He edited Men for All Seasons and has been the co-editor of the Friction series since the second volume.
So far, this is a fabulous collection. I'm impressed by the many ways of having the simple "find him and screw him" plot work without being uninteresting. Some have more story than that, but that isn't a factor in the quality. Overall, this series seems to offer more stroke material than "Best Gay Erotica", which isn't necessarily a good or bad thing. I have that entire series and there are quite a few stories I've re-read several times, as I will with the "Friction" series.
"Fantasies of Hoss" by Mel Smith is both hot and funny, a combination I especially like.
"Dogboy Chews Stranger's Meat" by Christopher Pierce also has a playfulness that works well. That one presses my D/s buttons. I also enjoyed Pierce's other two stories.
There are many others worth mentioning, so I'll try to get back here and give you and update.
