Interesting, fun alien romance! I didn’t like Fiona; she pouts too much and is a brat, but I liked Ehai. He’s a warrior; strong and protective. Fiona is a friend of Lainie; Lainie is the female lead from the previous book, so alien Ehai tries to get some information from Fiona so he can find his alien friend, Kavox. Like in the first book with Lainie and Kavox, Ehai ends up kidnapping Fiona when he realizes she’s his mate. Unfortunately, this causes Fiona to be very angry and she won’t listen to reason; she’s adamant that the other alien race, the Tanquits, aren’t evil killers. Ehai has to deal with lots of drama from Fiona; plus, there’s dangerous situations going on. I enjoyed the bits of action, and the romance does have some sweet moments. The change in feeling for Fiona is too quick, and the ending felt rushed. Also, I’d like a bit more overall story progression for this story. Overall, an entertaining reading experience, and I’d like to continue on with the series.
