Alright, so I have a really specific a personal reason for docking 2 stars from this series (of which there are 3 books so far on Galatea), I’ll get to that.
I want to start with the “Punishment” part of this title is in spanking and other rough sexual activity.. so I ain’t mad at it. 🤷🏼♀️ The first book, I actually loved, the story line for the primary characters was a little bit different than the typical ‘mated’ were pair, and I appreciated that.
Book two, this is where my docked stars come in. There is a throuple situation that is conveniently ‘blessed’ by the goddess so it is okay. I can’t…I just CAN’T. I know that there is complication with the true mate coming back after he was thought to be dead, and the new ‘mate’ who also lost his true mate now there’s this dramatic love triangle and YIKES what is going to happen!? Call me traditional in my fantasy ways, but the friggin Goddess says the were’s have one true mate in every story ever, now all of a sudden she is making an exception to the rule so these three people can live happily ever after together? Nah… It is too progressive for me and I hated it so much I almost quit reading it. I decided to push through.
Book three, I was back onboard with being pleasantly surprised, actually really enjoyed it to be honest! The ending though…it wasn’t even a cliffhanger, it was almost like it stopped in the middle of a thought. It was very strange, I am hoping that there is a book four that ties up some loose ends and gives us the happy Viking werewolf ending that we all deserve.

This has 3 books in it, it’s on the Galatea app, it has been one of the first books that I have listened too. It’s been a really good series with a good plot like and good spice. Book 4 comes out in may.
