Battle of the Hexes is the third book in the Season of the Witch Series by Shea MacLeod.
JJ has a big problem, in the form of a frog, not just any frog but her exboyfriend who she accidently turned into a frog. He is in town and JJ needs to figure out how to turn him back, if she can catch him that is. He is a slippery one!
Meanwhile, there is a murder, and the frog leads JJ right to the dead body!
This is such a great mystery and I love this series so much I read this book in one sitting.
The characters are so much fun and I love the older age of JJ.

I just love this series. It always has the right amount of coziness, humor, spookiness, mystery, and murder. And they’re on the shorter side so great for quick reads!

JJ is settling in to the book store her grandmother left her. She looks out one day and sees a frog that has to be her ex as it is wearing a bow tie. She accidentally hexed him when he broke up with her on her birthday and poof he was frog. U fortunately she had no idea how she had done it. So she chases him to catch him and return him to his human state with the help of her grandmothers best friend. But the frog leads her to a body outside the local psychics house. JJ must solve the murder but the dead man has no history so it’s going to be hard. A very fun read.

This part was also a lot of fun. A relaxed and quick read. We finally found out what kind of witch our main character is, and the ex-boyfriend from the first part also returned...in the form of a frog. 4/5⭐️ as the parts could still be longer.

Another Great Adventure!!
Battle of the Hexes is another great adventure in the Season of the Witch series by Shea MacLeod. I just adore this series, and I'm always so anxious to find out more about everyone in this town. It's so full of interesting characters and all different types of supernaturals!! Loved wrapping up some hanging storyline as well as opening up a new line of intrigue!!!! Can't wait for the next book!! ❤❤❤

I have always been attracted to stories of magic and magical creatures, like dragons, elves, dwarfs, etc. This is about a very small town supposedly accessible to magical creatures only. The plot is easily followed and straightforward and the premise is finding out how a newcomer was killed and why. The answers were most illuminating. I most definitely recommend this book and the entire series to people who believe in and wish there was magic.

To this series. I have enjoyed the characters and the stories. They are very short, but sufficient to tell the tale. So many of the cozy mysteries have excess verbiage that is just annoying. This series was a fun, relaxing read.

Fabulous
My new favorite author. Loved the first book and just finished book two. Looking forward to the next book and the other series written by Shea McLeod.

An enjoyable book
Ms. MacLeod has written an interesting and moving book. The characters are well thought out and realistic. There is just enough magic, mystery, and romance to keep things moving along. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Love this series. Miracle bay is the magic town only the magical people can enter. Jj old boyfriend she accidentally turned into a frog shows up in town hopping around and JJ has to catch him to turn him back. Deep secrets are revealed. Don’t miss it.

Unexpected!
This book was full of surprises! I can’t really say much, because there are too many spoilers. Suffice it to say, this novel is a must read in Jupiter’s continuing saga.

Okay cliffhanger! We got a lot done in this book and I’m still loving it. Mama JJ’s got some explaining to do.

Battle of the Hexes is a wonderful paranormal cozy mystery. It is a such a fun and interesting book. I love the quirky characters and the magical small town. The mystery is engaging and has many twists. I loved this book and highly recommend it.

The ex totally deserved being turned into a frog and I wish he had stayed that way especially after we learned more about his intentions for JJ. Loving this series and I can't wait to continue.
