This is a really great start to what could have been an awesome book but with the typos and grammatical errors I just couldn't enjoy it as much, hence the 2 stars. This needs to be proof read.
It was extremely difficult to get through this short story with all the grammatical errors. At first I assumed the author may be Irish (or a pirate?) With her use of "me" instead of "my" but throughout the book she correctly used "my" so I'm not sure what was up with her inconsistencies. She also switched from 1st person to 3rd person and back to 1st.
I really don't recommend this book, and sadly, nor the author either as I've gone through most of her reviews of other books and find that no matter how many times "proof read" gets mentioned, her books are still released with so many errors. Don't bother paying for this.
The book was okay. The spice was there but the grammar was atrocious. I know it’s mainly a lot of smut with very little plot but I couldn’t get past all the grammatical errors. The constant use of me instead of my made me feel like a pirate was narrating. I could have looked past it if it had only been once or twice but this was pretty much almost every other paragraph. Rarely do I dnf a book but the grammar was so bad I had trouble concentrating on the book itself.
Overall 3/5! I love a good quick and to the point book/story as much as the next person, but the grammatical errors were hard to ignore and happened a little too often. It was also hard to follow dialogue between the characters. Still nice to read.
I Amy be dyslexic but even I can tell you when to use me or I and so many other screw ups it’s hard to follow the story. Don’t waste your time until someone actually edits this book!
