Everyone has dreams when they are young, and mine came to an abrupt halt.I changed as a man, as a person, and my soul was damaged beyond repair. So I turned into someone everyone would hate because I hate everyone and everything.I’m furious at the world. It's a part of me at this point, and I don't think it will ever change. But then it does change, and if there is one thing I'm not good at, it’s adapting.Hope, Bullseye’s daughter, jump-starts my soul again.I hate it.I love it.I need her.But I can’t have her. She’s my friend’s daughter, for one. For two, she’s way too damn young for the likes of me. Three? She’s got a kid.And everyone knows how I feel about kids. They're loud, annoying vermin. Except after I meet Hope part of me starts to think of them in new terms. Wonderful. Beautiful. Precious. But I have responsibilities. I need the tough persona I've built to do my job. I can't go soft now when other people's lives hang in the balance. How can I love her when hate is all I’ve ever known?
Badge has always been mad at the world and doesn’t like children. I always figured something happened to make him so angry, and why would a cop turn into a Ruthless King? Well, brace yourself for one hell of an emotional ride. The author cracked open my heart in the prologue and slowly put it back together again, and the ending is phenomenal. I cried for heartbreak at the beginning, and I called for peace at the end.
If you follow me, you know how much I love this series. Badge is by far the best book in the series and most emotional. Please read your trigger warnings.
Badge and Hope are one tortured couple that has undeniable chemistry and deserves each other. Badge has been attractive since Hope showed up at the clubhouse. Hope sees Badge for who he really is and knows there is more than what he shows people. Our girl pushes him, and it was great to read it.
Once they do are finally together, it’s explosive. The gym scene is smoking. Of course, the whole Bullseye is finding out we have to worry about.
I devoured this book in one sitting. It’s addicting. And Sunnie, she had me belly laughing with her wanting tacos. K.l., so-so talented with her craft and has yet to disappoint me. Another epic book from the author.
The man who has always been in the background mad at the world with a huge distaste for kids is now surrounded by them. He wants his own space because he can't handle the emotions he feels listening to them cry. His reasons are because of wounds that cut so deep, he still hasn't heald. His torture becomes more apparent when Hope, Bullseyes long lost daughter, comes walking in the door.
Badge hides who he is but Hope sees the truth. She wants to know him, be his friend, be more. She doesn't let the enormous age gap stand in her way. He wants her just as badly but swears he isn't good enough for her. Nevermind the fact that she is the 18 year old daughter of his best friend. Everything should keep them apart but nothing is able to succeed.
When Badge is brought back into the darkness of his past, Hope is there. Giving him every ounce of her - showing him that she wants the world with him. When the truth comes out, the reactions of others are what he wanted to avoid. However, that proves harder with each body that arrives on their neighbors doorstep.
I loved this story. The second we knew Badge was trapped by Hope, I knew that this story would be incredible. The dynamic between them, you'd never guess they have the age gap that they do. Badge is nothing like who the King's know him as. He feels, he cares, and he loves deeply. No one was able to see the truth hidden under every layer and wall he built. No one except for Hope.
They have a true love built for the ages. Its pure, unconditional, and grows daily in more ways than one.
Excuse me while I dry my tears. This one was intense. I never imagined how intense Badge’s story would be, but it definitely was, thanks to several elements.
His backstory first. We had an inkling before of how he got his name, but the reasons for his grumpiness were still a mystery. It’s explained in the prologue, but be prepared, it’ll break your heart. You’ll quickly understand why he keeps everyone at a distance.
He also becomes a private investigator, and his first job changes everything. It starts a chain of events that forces him to reveal his secrets. I thought the investigation itself wasn’t very well written though–Badge’s work was sloppy, and the clues somehow fell on his lap. The depictions of the victims were graphic and gruesome, not for the faint of heart. But this element made sense in Badge’s character development, so I liked it anyway.
And, of course, the romance is a big part of the story. Badge’s love interest has been hinted at in previous books. It was genius to pair the guy who hates children with the young new mother–very young, the age gap here is huge–Hope, aka Bullseye’s daughter. Expect some drama with this forbidden romance. Forbidden, but also incredibly sexy! There’s some battle of power between Hope and Badge that made the intimate scenes scorching hot.
I felt the appearances of the other members were less gimmicky than they often are. They even have an active part in the story–you’ll see some development in other characters that can have a big impact in the next books of the series.
A beautiful though heartwrenching experience all in all, I loved it.

Do yourselves a favor and invest your time and heart into Badge and Hopes story!! It's so beautiful, wholesome and sweet (and so sexy) as well as full of the grit and mystery/suspense you are used to from KL. Go read this now!!
**I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions!**
The psychic biker was shockingly no help in this one, but the clairvoyant biker did come thru for his brothers so amen to that. Becks randomly appears after being at a "massage conference" for the last 13 books, the swamp kitties are full sized gators now but still roaming the compound, and Reaper once again doles out a cruel punishment cuz some1 dared speak to him. Thank God daddy Badge and sweet sweet Hope got their HEA, and all those adorable little munchkins.
So yeah. I was waiting for this book and figured it would be awesome since it didn’t have the traditional 20 chapters like every one of her characters get, but 24! Woohoo! Here’s to hoping🙄 However, like all the others, something or someone is always missing. In this particular one, several characters were left out and the ending was way too abrupt. It really didn’t give the reader any kind of peace of mind to know that the serial killer was Badge’s ex-wife. It was just sloppy. Then he had to kill her? Euthanize her? Send her to her peace? I’m sorry. It just creeped me out. Finally, does anybody wonder whatever happened to Reaper’s sister? She was literally introduced but then mysteriously disappeared from the plot. The creepy children in the basement are forever lurking in corners with no resolution to their situation and Slingshot’s wife, Natalia is nowhere to be seen. Then rando characters make an appearance that make no sense at all to the story. For example, who the hell gives a rats a$& that Becks, the massage therapist is back? What exactly did she contribute to ANY of the series’ storylines? Yet Reaper makes a grand announcement about her being an important guest returning? Also, I am a little disappointed that Badge didn’t propose marriage to his 18-year-old ol’ lady ( especially one who is not only young with a child but was seriously more traumatized than he should have had a right to be) and leaves her in doubt for the last half of the book. I know it’s biker tradition to consider an old lady a wife anyway but a lot of the bikers love their women so much that they actually marry them. For example Reaper and sarah married for better or for worse. Even Tongue proposed immediately. For goodness sake the girl is only 18 years old and it’s your best friend’s daughter. Last but not least, Bullseye and Ruby disappear from the story never to be seen again after they go on a little vacation and you don’t know if he’s ever really made peace with Badge and their situation. Honestly, if it wasn’t for the fact that I just happen to love the characters alone, this is just really bad writing. There are some truly great scenes and she’s got some truly great potential as an author but she just gets lazy! I wish she would just take the time and redo this whole series because it would really be more satisfying to readers and I bet she would be considered the best novelist in the Biker genre.
This book was so sweet, and emotional I loved Badge and Hope a lot, they fit really well together, i just needed more of them bonding tho, we jump right into it, i wished we had more between them, like more scenes of the jealous Badge :D i loved it ahaha, i loved their intimacy, it was fire, all the times.
I'm surprised of how much i enjoyed it EVEN if there is a big no for me in it, and it's her being a single mom, it's just not my trope BUT considering her past i was fine with it, what i wasn't fine with and i know it's just me probably i disliked how they took in those kids, it's sweet i know, i just don't like it :D but ok, at least they have one on their own.
I can't wait for Seer's book, i want it right now, lol.
overall this is one of my favorite's couples! hope she will deliver more books as good as this one
I’ve been interested in Badge since each book showed him to be quite, grumpy and irritable. He stated had no patience for children he hated them but showed so much time and compassion for Maizy, and show kindness and understanding to the other kids. Badge was always an enigma to me, .I really needed to know more,
And now here it is, a brilliant book, with excellent writing. A different definite must have and tissues are definitely needed,! love it. ❤️
Badge is one story I have been waiting for, we always knew that there was going to be something special about this guys story, but I wasn't prepared for how special, and the fact that Badge is not only at the top of the other 15 books in the series, he is on a step of his own, not easy as the other's have all been 4 or 5 star reads.
Badge is a hot older-guy younger girl story that is buried in tragedy, heartbreak, once again K L Savage didn’t disappoint in the brilliant suspense storyline that was one of the best so far in the Ruthless Kings series, and the chemistry between Hope and Badge was seriously hot, making this an all round spell binding must read.
Not sure where this series goes next, but the ride has been wild so far.
Badges story is so damn sad 😩 loosing his baby and growing cold and pushing people away, just to protect himself from hurt and loss. I could imagine that type of pain. Hope comes from a messed up situation, she is a young single mom. But she is the glue that puts badge back together. This was such a good book. Absolutely love that badge gets his family and Hea
Badges book is more of a taboo read and i was here for it. The angst and turmoil. This series of books somehow manages to toe the line between emotional brilliant books, whilst still showing glimpses of humor throughout. Another amazing read
Badge.has a tragic past that has him.pushing everyone away.until Hope makes him want to live again. I absolutely loved this emotional read. This one really captures your heart.
Badge was an 18 year old newly qualified cop living his best life until his world came crashing down into a million pieces, the worst thing that could happen to him, made him build layer upon layer upon layer around his heart and soul and although he was a dedicated brother to the Kings and would do anything to protect them,he came across as a guarded, standoffish grumpy man who despised children in every way...but of course that proved difficult to get away from,as more and more babies/children were popping up in the Ruthless fold. Badge was a man who thought he didn't deserve happiness, didn't deserve love, and didn't deserve a life like the family he's surrounded by. His Fort Knox type walls gradually crumbled day by day since Hope, the newly found daughter of his best friend Bullseye embedded herself under his skin. The more he pushed her away, whether it being the age gap, or the fact she was Bullseye's daughter, she pulled him back in. The fact Badge didn't have his "badge" anymore, made him feel trapped, not complete and wanting some sort of semblance back in his life...and he went out alone to make a difference despite lying to the people that mattered the most. A killer wreaking havoc on the Strip, means that Badge needs the help of his brothers and outsiders to bring Vegas back to calm. Ever since Hope came to the clubhouse, she has started a new life with new found family and her baby Faith...and to her, Badge completes her and she makes it her mission to make him see that too. The concept of Badge's book makes the feels become tenfold,I felt every emotion, including having to work out who the killer was! I loved the whole buildup to Badge living his best life again, with his woman...because in a world of darkness and despair, everyone deserves a chance to have light in their lives once more.
I was excited to get Badge's story and if you're already a fan of the Ruthless Kings you won't be disappointed. Badge is always such a grump with little patience or tact for anyone. But there was always something in the background going on with him in the previous novels. So to finally get his story was great.
It was very emotional to start with. I really struggled, the prologue itself was heartbreaking. To see Badge the young man and to find out how he become the hardened biker he is was so sad. It was great to get to see him come full circle even if he was still a grumpy jerk along the way.
Hope had gone through so much in her 18 years it's no wonder that she needs someone more grown-up than young men her own age. It doesn't matter that Badge is her Dad's friend or the 20 year age gap, nobody has ever made her feel the way Badge does.
Between Badge's determination to never let anyone close as well as his friendship with Bullseye he will keep pushing Hope away, he just needs to make sure he doesn't push her too far because she knows she wants a happy life after all she's been through and if it can't be with Badge then she'll have to find someone else.
Throw in a serial killer, a little biker in fighting and you've got another great Ruthless Kings novel.
QI love Hopes title design and I LOVE her description of Badgd. Which I will not spoil it made me smile so much and it made he think of a certain movie😄
Hope and her daughter Faith have found a family in the Ruthless Kings. Her & Bullseye's dad and daughter moment are just beautiful❤ OH and Bullseye granda & granddaughter moments.
My heart breaks for her cause she is still recovering from the twisted sick past, that Bullseye lived through too. But she lost the love & Faith's dad all in one day at least the villian is dead...no spoilers I really recommend you read Bullseye story to understand how their pasts are link and how fate brought them back together again
Badge had such a horrible past event that shaped who he is now at Ruthless Kings. He is running his own P.I which is fantastic. This book is full of suspense & a murder to solve which is too close to home. Their love is beautiful they are healing each other. Their love story and family is a interesting one which I will not spoil because it is beautiful and family is more than blood
I love Seer so much! He needs a story🥰 Hex makes appearance and he made me cry again. Hex needs a story too and stop making me cry Hex
𝐁𝐚𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐛𝐲 𝐊.𝐋. 𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐠𝐞 book #17 in 𝐑𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐌𝐂 𝐋𝐚𝐬 𝐕𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐬 series
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I haven't read MC romance from long time ago, but I'm so happy for decide to read this book.
Kl Savage always writes these biker so yummy and intense and her stemy scene in this one definitely lifted my degree.
Forest aka Badge was amazing character, who has experienced something really horrible as a parent. When I was reading about his previous life, my heart was breaking for him
Hope in other hand is one sunshine young girl, who's life aslo wasn't easy. She and her daughter have finally found their place in life, and especially a big family that adores them.
This story line totally made me to not leave the book until I finish her all and now that I finished this story I want more!!
Thanks you @authorklsavage for the experience and for the amazing characters that you write, they was unforgettable! ❤️
Another perfect rip your heart out romance by the duo that’s KL Savage! Badge is everything that we’re looking for in the grumpy hero to include the tragic back story that has damaged his soul. The cop turned Ruthless King. The man who can’t stand to be around kids. Why would he fall for his (MC) brother’s daughter? Especially when she has a daughter of her own. Hope fills all the broken parts and helps him become the man he was meant to become. The chemistry between the two of them was smokin’ and the sexy times were hot! Wonderful age-gap with a bit of kink and a wonderful storyline that will make you laugh and cry. If you’re a fan of the series, you definitely will not be disappointed!
Badge is the 16th book in the Ruthless Kings MC Las Vegas Chapter series by KL Savage. It is a standalone, but best enjoyed when read in order with the other books in the series.
Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Trope: age-gap Angst: 😰😰😰 Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Triggers: Death of a child
⚠️There are a few things in the book that might upset people, so read the warning first⚠️
As with all the Ruthless Kings, bad things happened in Badge’s past, which made him who he is today. And it’s sad, and it now makes sense why he’s so grumpy and anti-kids!!
Hope, is Bullseye’s daughter (long story) and she’s also a mother herself, she’s not had a great upbringing (Bullseye knew nothing about her until a few months ago) Living in the club isn’t ideal, but she loves the company and atmosphere. If she could get the hang of parenthood then life would be so much easier.
Both are aware of one another, but Badge isn’t looking for long term and certainly no one with kids! Hope wants to be around family and to be loved just for her. So how can they move forward?
Forrest “Badge” Walker was a cop until his President gave him an ultimatum!! (Another long story) His journey has been rough, his road to recovery/forgiveness/acceptance (whatever you want to call it) hasn’t been easy. I love the interaction between Badge and Maizey (adopted daughter of Reaper and Sarah) she’s just such a character, and I don’t envy the person who wants to date her later on in life! (she’s well loved and protected in the club.)
An opportunity arises for Badge that he really can’t turn away from. And he sees it as a way of being a cop, but he’s not in the mood to tell Reaper! (Big mistake!) And he’ll also be under the thumb of local mafia boss Matteo (he has a book under his name) and being owned by both Matteo and Reaper will cause huge complications down the road!
I love this series, mean bad bikers with hearts that are cold and empty, that is until the right woman crosses their path. Angst, sadness and lost souls, but there is also room for happiness, love and a family (which is what most of these ruthless kings want)
Badge is adamant that he and Hope won’t ever get together, but when she’s asked out on a date, Badge can’t help but act out! Kissing his friend’s daughter is going to get him killed! Suddenly Hope is all he can think about! And when she tells him she feels the same way, it makes his choices a whole lot more tougher!
This is the Sixteenth book in the series. It’s already got a few spin offs! So by now you’d think it would be getting stale! You’d be wrong. This series just keeps getting better. Each book might have roughly the same formula, but the author still manages to keep them fresh and interesting. Badge has been a character throughout the series, and you have to wonder what his story was. Well, wait no longer. Dive in and enjoy the ups and downs of this biker gang and the women they’ve fallen for. Read as Hope battles with her feelings of inadequacy of being a mother, how she wants Badge, but has to constantly fight his objections. Wait with baited breath, as we find out who the killer of prostitutes is, and it’s one I really wasn’t expecting. And then cheer as Badge finally gets his head out of his a$$ and accept the love Hope is offering.
I’d recommend you read them in order, it gives flow and continuity to the story. But saying that I haven’t! But I’m going to rectify that as soon as I get off my review.
Got to love a mean and grumpy biker. And you will 😉
Badge by K.L. Savage (Ruthless Kings MC: Las Vegas #16)… 5 Maple Leafs
An unexpected and powerful rollercoaster ride of emotions.
”Sometimes in order to heal properly, we don’t just have to break, we have to shatter.”
Badge has some pretty heavy demons and his first case as a private investigator brings everything he thought he buried to the surface. The only one who seems to ground him is Bullseye’s daughter.
Hope is starting to finally settle in at the clubhouse and enjoying being reacquainted with her dad, Bullseye. She has had her eyes on Badge since she arrived.
Badge begins to become more and more irritable as more babies are being born. Hope has issues getting Faith to calm down one night and to her surprise Badge is the one who helps out. Hope realizes that there is more to him than meets the eye and is determined not only to get him to notice her but also to get to the bottom of who he really is.
Badge was so much more than I expected. I went through every single emotion while reading this book. Badge and Hope had some unbelievable tension between them and once they got together they were explosive. My heart broke for Badge with everything he went through. I loved getting to see Hope and Bullseye bond more. I can not wait for more Ruthless Kings as they have become like family.
Genre/Tropes… MC, Age Gap, Single Mom, Best Friend’s Daughter, Suspense, Dark, Slow Burn, Law Enforcement

An emotionally charged, tragic, beautiful, awesome story!
I love the Ruthless Kings MC books, all of them, but Badge has a special place in my heart now. He has always been the grumpy, kept to himself, angry brother, but after reading his story, most of his has been an act to keep the truth well hidden. He’s a deep feeling, caring, wonderful man that has seen tragedy, pain, and loss so deep that he has buried his heart and put barbed wire around it for good measure.
Hope’s life was not normal. She unfortunately, had to follow in her father and mother’s footsteps growing up. Her father, Bullseye, thought he lost her the same day he lost her mother, but Patricia lied to him and kept Hope and raised her on her own, only to give her the same life that her parents had to endure. Now she’s found a family and happiness and is ready to find her HEA, and Badge is the man that she wants that with, even if he is so much older than her. She just has to find the true man behind the pain and grumpiness.
This story is tragic, beautiful, entertaining, and has a twist that I did not see coming. Badge is angry that he had to give up his career, but he’s found a way to put those skills to work. However, there are a few downfalls to his plan, first he is keeping it a secret from Reaper, which is never a good idea. Also, it is bringing his past back to the surface and making him hurt all over again. It’s also making him surly and short with those that he cares about. Besides dealing with this, he is also trying to fight his attraction to Hope and the feelings that she brings out in him. I love this book and Badge and Hope’s road to their HEA, but it was an emotional ride to the end. I loved that Badge’s heart is unthawed and he can find a way to bring peace to Haley. Let’s not ignore the inclusion of Mateo Moretti in this story as well. He owes so much to the Ruthless Kings, but it seems that he is always issuing threats to them. I love the characters, the stories, the writing of these books and I am always ready for more. I give this story a 5-star review.
Another amazing story from KL and the Kings. How many twist of fate can people handle in a lifetime. As you read Badge and Hopes story you will see. Both have lived thru a lot from life. This story has you crying from hearts breaking. Then feeling frustrated with how denying your true self hurts. This dysfunction biker family is now finding their soul mates and starting families. Badge doesn't think he deserved any love, happiness or joy of children. He lost a person he loved years ago. Deep down inside he truly wants all life has but he never grieved. Until he sees Hope and everything changes from the inside out. Hope also sees Badge and wants him badly too. After the life both of these two have experienced they need each other. They fight for and against their attraction until they can't no matter the reasons not to. Badge wants more now for a future he becomes a private investigator with a case that hits close to home. Murder and babies missing losing love. Badge gets involved with the babies a shows everyone how much he has inside to love not only Hope and Faith. Many surprise twist and turns to solve this case. When things calm down for a moment Badge goes from alone and in pain to a family man with the woman he loves. Starting their dreams over again now becoming parents of four. Badge never dreamed he would have. Hope and Badge deserve all this love , happiness and so much more.
This book was emotional, sweet and yes spicy 🌶️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️. This story is about a guy named Badge (Forrest) and his love Hope.
This story begins with Badge who is a part of the Ruthless Kings MC Club. He is working in law enforcement at the beginning of the story. He returns home to his wife at the time who is passed out on pills. He finds that his infant daughter isn’t okay and that she passed away due to SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome). He is mad at the world and himself. He begins to resent infants and children because he is grieving. He finds himself falling for a young woman at the club named Hope who is the daughter of his best friend at the club. In the beginning he is a real jerk to her and pushes her away because of his grief. Hope is so sweet and caring and she has a huge crush on him. He ends up investigating cases where mothers have been killed and their babies cut out of them. Hope has a young infant daughter of her own. Badge helps her one night with the baby in which she is struggling to breastfeed her. In his work he ends up becoming attached to a baby that he found. He is keeping a secret about his work to the Prez of the club. Badge is really a very sweet tender hearted guy. I liked Hope and Badge and how they became a family. I loved reading this book.
I’m a HUGE fan of KL Savage and the Ruthless Kings MC universe. This book stands out in the midst of all of the fantastic stories. I am blown away.
I knew Badge’s story was going to be one of my favorites and he is in my top 3 book boyfriends in this MC world. I’m used to shedding tears with these books and Badge’s background story certainly got them flowing.
I absolutely adored his pairing with Hope!!! She deserved someone who would love her as fully and completely as Badge does after everything she has been through.
LOVED the twists and turns and suspense and intrigue. Fabulous storyline that kept the pages turning!!! As with all KL Savage books, you’ll definitely laugh and you most certainly will cry but somehow by the end of the book, you’ll be pulled back together again. The writing is just so good. You get transported into the story and don’t want to leave.
Badge and Hope are a beautiful couple and I love their not-so-little family!!!! And as far as Ms. Ellie and Braveheart…I AM HERE FOR IT!!!
I have loved reading all of the Ruthless Underworld stories, but the original Ruthless Kings MC are still my favorites. However, I think that the NOLA chapter will definitely be close, that is if we ever get their stories! Lol!! I have always wondered what happened to Badge to make him into the man he tried so hard to be, but I never thought it would be something so tragic and devastating. I can truly understand why he would hold himself away from others after that. I'm happy that he finally found the his other half, and so much more. I'm really looking forward to reading the rest of the members stories, and hope that we'll see them soon. I know that there's a lot more coming up in the Ruthless Underworld series, which you'll find a reading order in the beginning of this book. (BTW, book #1 from the La Grange series is missing from this list. See where it's release date falls to figure out where it should be located in the list, but I believe it's just before book #2) I would definitely recommend this book, series, and exceptional authors.
Ya'll, I am not going to lie, I AM OBSESSED WITH THE RUTHLESS KINGS. (No matter the chapter) So here we have Badge's story and let me tell you I cried. I was not even ten pages in and I was crying. So we know that Badge is a grumpy man and we find out why. It is a sad story. Also we know that in the previous books Reaper made him choose the club or the badge. This has really taken a toll on him. He loves both. Then Hope shows up at the club who just happens to be Bullseye's daughter. Now he is getting feelings that he suppressed for years and it is really pushing him to his limits. Then Badge does something that he still needs to tell Reaper before he gets in trouble. However there are some other things that start to occur and lord does it get crazy. Babies are popping up left and right. We finally see a different side to Badge and everyone understands him now. Now can he finally be able to get the happiness he deserves. I can say we do get a happily ever after for these two. This is a definite must read in the series. You will love it.
This is really a great book even when I had tears in my eyes.... so there is your spoiler...it has a couple of sad parts.
This is Badge's and Hope's book. Yes that Hope that we met already in I think it was Bullseye's book and if not you know what she is to him IF you have read it.
Hope is still staying at the clubhouse since she doesn't have anywhere else to go with a new baby. A new baby that keeps waking Badge up all night long because she is next door to him.
Badge has a reputation that he hated kids. Does he or don't he? He knew how to help Hope get her baby to quit crying and go to sleep.
As far his name... yes when he first meets anyone in the Ruthless Kings MC he was a cop then and the President even offered him to prospect while in uniform. Does he still miss being a cop? How does what he does with the club sit with him and his past?
Remember all of these books are for adults do to violence and open door sex. Off to see what other ones this author has for other locations.
This was a tragically beautiful story. K. L. Savage really blew me away with this read. From previous books I have always been interested in Badge’s story so to finally read it and witness his pain was well worth the wait. This was also an age-gap story and Hope was the perfect female for this tortured biker. Hope has been through a lot as we learn earlier in the series, but she has gained strength from her past which helps her reach Badge and in turn he gives her what he didn’t think he could, love. I seriously loved this book the push and pull between Badge and Hope, the betrayal, the grief, the forgiveness, the growth, the love it was all so much but also totally needed. I can admit I was emotionally drained after this read.Hope was so sweet! She gave her all to have what she does with Badge, and I can only respect her for that because there were definitely obstacles. Badge needed to face his demons and having Hope by his side helped him tremendously. They made the perfect team!
