This book was so so good!
Mars finds herself living in New York where her mother makes her work after she get into some trouble. Walking down the street she hears a loud bang. She sees people running out and just trying to get out of the situation. And what she does do? She does the opposite of what the normal person would do. She does not run. Instead she follows the loud sounds. And that’s how she meets OUR BABY VINCENT.
I loved the main female character- Mars. She honestly my spirit animals. So funny, I loved loved her jokes and the way she acts even when she’s in danger. I want to be her. Vincent is such a grumpy at first. After warming up to Mars he starts getting soft on her. Which I absolutely loved to see. Their relationship starts to grow, and each of their interactions had me laughing and crying because of how lonely I am 😭🥲.
THE MOTHERFUCKING PLOT TWIST. I STILL CANNOT EXPRESS HOW MUCH IT MADE ME CRY, AND JUST BASICALLY FEEL SO SO BAD AND SHOCKED. THIS WAS GREAT THO. I absolutely understand the reasons, and I definitely forgive. How could I not. My baby deserves everything <33
totally recommend this book if you’re looking for some cute love, badass heroine, lots of jokes, and a mafia romance. 💗💗
