This book is fantastic beyond words.

I learned about Christian's story a few months ago from a friend who recommended one of the first interviews with him posted on youtube. Since then, I've hungered for more content with him, which to be fair, has been available in the form of many new videos with him and all the material on his website--he seems to be very generous with his time. And, although he usually retells the same basic details of his story, every interview has some new nugget that lifts me up or helps me understand something more deeply.

So, when this book was finally released, I bought it as fast as I could and read it eagerly, taking my time to enjoy and internalize all the wonderful wisdom it contains.

It is somewhat strange. If I had found a book just like this one a few years ago, I don't know if I would have been able to recognize it and appreciate it for the shining gem that it is. All I can say is that, right here and now, this book speaks to me in a way that rarely anything else can. It is written in such a simple, direct, unassuming, unpretentious way, while at the same time reaching such heights of subtlety and inspiration, I can only smile and deeply thank Christian and his guides for bringing this work into the material.

We all are here for a reason, and it is beautiful to be reminded of it, and of our true nature. Thank you again Christian, our brother. Much love and peace.

This is a wonderful and helpful book from a very generous ,kind and compassionate man.
I appreciated his clear, compassionate message. Sundberg’s humility is also refreshing.
I have read many NDE accounts , and Sunberg gives a different take as his experience of the afterlife comes from Pre-Life, so to speak. Yet, it contains many familiar insights as well as his own unique experience of remembering his sometimes challenging decision to incarnate in earth and experience being from a very constricted human perspective so that he might expand his perspective and compassion further.
Highly recommended for people interested in understanding the human experience within the larger spiritual context.
Many of us experience varying degrees of challenges, suffering , sorrow, trauma, fear, etc. in our lives.
I certainly have and do.
This book offers a wider perspective in the gifts inherent in those difficult experiences and their silver lining gift of directing us toward seeking deeper lasting meaning and Truth in our lives.

Incredible account, and it meshes well with Tom Campbell’s My Big TOE. It resonates deeply and I find it very clarifying and liberating.

Definitely not something most people are ready for, I think. And I don’t think it’s necessarily meant for everyone, but if you’re interested in the non-physical and spiritual expansion, then I’d recommend this book for sure!

this book has practical and esoteric solutions and suggestions for everyone. It's a wonderful read, and I feel like I have a much better anchor for how to behave and especially for how important my intentions are.

I just finished this audiobook. I found Christian through one of his YouTube interviews and went ahead and bought the book as well as the Audiobook- one of the best investments I have ever made!
I am a self proclaimed self-proclaimed queen of self-help / spiritual/religious genre of books, and there have only been TWO books so far that I listen to, over and over and over because I derive value out of them-and get something new- every single time. Two such books are The Autobiography Of A Yogi and A New Earth . These two books cause a "shift" in me taking me to a place of "alignment". A Walk in the Physical is going to be the third one!

I love the objective commentary without coming from a place of a moral high ground or any intellectual arrogance. The book is structured as short essays with a lot of cross referencing and is an easy read and very enjoyable to listen. To me, every word rings True (with a capital T) because it comes from a place of 'knowing' not belief or ideology that someone subscribes to.

I am not sure if you are ready to hear what he has to say, yet, but I sincerely hope for you to have this book in your TBR list for when the time is right. This book has made me feel so joyous with a loving detachment to life in general, helped me address my mild depression / sadness. I highly recommend the book (esp the audiobook).

The essays in this book are phenomenal. Many ideas---some of them resonated so strongly with me. Some of them I struggled to be open to. Some of them I don't know if I believe. I tried not to read it dogmatically, and have a healthy amount of skepticism.
But I found a lot of truth in here. God's love is all-encompassing. I really do believe there is something much larger going on on this earth than happenstance. Human needs for connection, philosophy, and spirituality are evidence of that to me--we are moral, spiritual beings. I also believe that truth is real, not completely relative---and because truth is real, that it must have a source. Of course, I believe that that source of truth is God the Father, and Jesus Christ. I believe in a Plan of Salvation for all of God's children.
Interesting how this man's (and many other people's) experiences mapped so well onto the doctrine I believe. That doesn't make what I believe fool-proof. But it was faith promoting and confirming to me. There's a whole lot of love in this book, and in life.

Possibly the BEST book I've ever read on 'why are we here', that is, why have we CHOSEN to become human in this lifetime. Every single page of this book was significant! Early in the book I started folding page corners so I could go back and highlight passages I'd like to return to and read again. Now almost EVERY page is highlighted! Christian begins by describing a pre-birth memory he recalled as an adult. He then goes on to write many short essays (about 1-1.5 pages each) about why we choose to be human, what is the purpose of life, and what happens when we leave our physical bodies at the end of our physical existence. If you've read any of the Seth books, or follow Abraham-Hicks, or any number of other spiritual writers, you may find (as I have) that this is the next door to open in your spiritual search!

This book answers many lingering I've had about consciousness and our lives on Earth. As someone who has struggled off and on with sickness over the years in what has been labeled "MCAS" or "Mast Cell Activation Syndrome," I've been seeking to understand why these bouts of illness keep occurring, and often fall into victimhood. Insights from this book help me to reframe it as something that has been there to help me evolve. How to face pain, and traumas, and difficulties? Ultimately these challenges are part of our soul growth, to identify what we need to learn from them, how to face them, and how to live a life based in love, rather than fear (and why it matters!).

One of the best books I have ever read a complete unknown treasure. This is one of those books that I would read several times and recommend from now on. I have read many personal growth/spiritual books such as A Course in Miracles made easy by Alan Cohen, A new reality paradigm by Gonzalo Rodríguez, The Power of now by Eckhart Tolle, Conscience Parenting by Tsebari Sefally, The Bagavadita, and others. What Christian shares in this book is simply remarkable. This is one of those books that you wonder why is not a best seller.

This took me over a year to listen to as an audiobook, mostly because I forgot about it.

A Walk in the Physical offers some great insights into the human experience from a broader, non physical perspective. Most of it is information I've heard before in other contexts. It's also SOOO long and quite repetitive. The information is also presented very matter of factly, making it a bit dry to follow along with.

No wonder I forgot about it for over a year.

I think this is a good book for people who are really new to the spiritual perspective on life and want someone who covers all the details from multiple perspectives, which Sundberg definitely does. For me, it got old and redundant.

A Walk in the Physical is a genuine and thought-provoking book written from the author's own personal experiences. What makes this book stand out is that Sundberg succeeds in tackling the 'why' behind many spiritual questions and not just the 'what', and even though language is very limited to describe spiritual realities, love is still the underlying power of all of our existence. Furthermore, he assures us that despite everything humanity currently experiences and everything we have gone through, there should be nothing to fear. All in all, it's a heartwarming read with both philosophical and practical insights.

For a 'reading book' - this one is good early, and then later in the book it is more things to read 'daily'. So depends what you are looking for. Overall I like the message. Watching him on youtube is great too.
