Someone you're magically bonded to getting executed probably isn't healthy... With a new, short deadline on Xiatyan's execution, I'm left with no new ideas for how to save him.
If I don't figure out how to save him soon, all of my bonded will be in danger, but I have no idea where to start...
Some say she's an ancient creature of nightmare that was unleashed from beneath the ocean, come to devour the souls of men. Others say that she's a cosmic being from the beyond the stars that has taken corporeal form to learn our ways for some unknown end...
In truth, L.C. Mawson lives in a tower in the middle of a haunted forest, far from civilisation and is definitely not a witch who curses those who trespass upon her land. And she definitely cannot turn into a dragon that flies over cities in the dead of night and whose cries are often mistaken for an approaching storm. Where did you hear that? That's absurd...
The only contact she has with humanity is publishing books every so often, which is definitely just for fun and not part of an ancient contract with a trickster god.
Advanced Power Transference - a review by Rosemary Kenny.
With a nod to the character Danaerys in Game of Thrones, (plus a soupcon of the final film/book in the Twilight saga) High Priestess of Dragons Skye breaks the news to Xiatyan, (her long imprisoned, prophesied mate, the Grand Dragon) that because of her forbidden visits to him whilst in heat, the date of his execution is to be brought forward. He seems resigned, but Skye's desperate to save her intended, as she races off to ask Lia and Nyssa for support and advice. When her mermaid princess partner Lorelei feels ill, she soon find it's due to her unusual pregnancy. What's the eponymous transference and to whom? Will it save Xiatyan from his daughter Reenan's murderous intent?

I’ve loved ever series set in the L.C. Mawson’s now several series long series in Snowverse, and Ember Academy for Magical Beings is no exception. That latest series comes to a grand conclusion in the final book, Advanced Power Transference (Book 6). I adore Skye, the heroine of this series. She’s just the sort of sarcastic kick-a** gal I love. Add in complex multi-novel dragon-related mysteries, a great cast of really well-crafted supporting characters (both good and bad) and a superb urban fantasy story arc that comes to a head on one heck of a fast-paced novel and you’re in for a fun ride - which I’m happy to highly recommend.
Advanced Power Transference (Ember Academy for Magical Beings Book 6) by L.C. Mawson is an absolutely fantastically amazing story that I have fell in love reading. This is book number six in this fantastically amazing series that I have been so hooked on since the beginning. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading reverse harem.
I read a complimentary Advanced Reader Copy of this book & am voluntarily leaving an honest and unbiased review.
A heartwarming end to the series. Skye has her hands full with the threat to Xiatyan, her cohort, and their unborn baby. While danger lurks, the bonds strengthen. Be sure that you have enough tissue available before you begin this story. The end is sweet.
I’ve just finished this series and I have love it all, saying that I read all books in less than a week. One of my favorites sagas, I love the magic world this book is build on, is very extended and complete with its details, I would of like to know more about dragon and demon world and how it is Atlantis, also very loved the connection between them and their dynamic together, their communication although sometimes could be better was very good, and the characters were relatable for me.
Well this is it , the ending book in the series and what and ending it is. All their hard work has come to this point and , no I'm not carrying on because it would mean spoilers so my friends you have got this far in the series so I suggest get a copy and enjoy an absolute pleasure to read. I have no problem in recommend this book. 10/10
Advanced Power Transference (Ember Academy for Magical Beings Book 6), my twenty-first enjoyable read from author L.C. Mawson. The conclusion to Ember Academy for Magical Beings was somewhat of a disappointment at only 66 pages in length. Still Mawson's excellence in writing made the book both enjoyable & satisfying, I just wanted a longer read. “I received a free review copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." Fast paced magical experience. The bonded must work together to save thhe Great Dragon even though some want him executed. Hours in the library and many surprises made this a great rread!
