As an Irish teenager in the 1980’s, I read Hot Press religiously. Niall Stokes and his paper got behind the U2 bandwagon very early, and as a consequence, so did I!
So there’s a touch of the unreliable narrator here!

This book could do with a reprint. I’d love to revisit the nascent superstars whose hard work was just starting to pay off at the time of publishing. They came across as just good honest earnest hard-working kids. Miles, galaxies away from their current image.

This book features, amongst much else, a series of revealing interviews with Bono, Larry, Adam and the Edge, reviews of all the albums, major concert coverage, exclusive archive material and hundred of photographs in colour and black & white, many not seen before.

Il "dietro le quinte" di ogni canzone contenuta negli album degli U2, fino a "All That You Can't Leave Behind" incluso. Imperdibile per un fan!
