Their break up was a disaster, Max saw something and just jumped to conclusions and made out with another. Now 4 years later will the air be cleared for more or will past experiences repeat.
Max made it known he’s been around the bushes while Sophia mentioning dating but nothing more. It was a good story.

This is the story of Max (Rigs) and Sophia. They were together in the past but due a misunderstanding he saw her with a guy and thought she was cheating on him but in reality she never cheated. He was furious and cheated with another woman. When Sophia saw him with another woman, she left and disappeared from his life. Years later, the coincided on the same military base and he realized that he never stopped loving her and wanted to clarify the situation and have a second chance. Sophia never stopped loving him a after avoiding him, she let her feelings dominate and expressed his love. The are a nice couple, even though he is really insecure and jealous. Nice story, I loved that Bruiser and Ava appeared in the story too. Highly recommended.

Enjoyable story but rough reading
Rigs is the second book in the Hot Heroes series. This story is about Sophia Stevens and Maximillan "Rigs" Callahan. The team has returned their home base of Oakwood from their latest mission. As they get squared away they also visit the hospital to get checked out and that includes Rigs who had been shot and fixed up by his brothers. When the doctor walked in the last person he was expecting was the woman who had left him five years ago with a broken heart. Dr. Stevens has recently been relocated to Oakwood. She knew that the man she has been trying to forget, really get over, is stationed there but she thought they might be able to avoid each other. That thought gets blown up when she sees his name on the chart for her next patient. Well this is going to get interesting. Rigs and Sophia had originally split up because of a misunderstanding and then some childish behavior on his part. I really wanted to box his ears for what he had done and I am not sure Sophia should have gotten involved with him again. But it happened and there are still a few road bumps, secrets and one big surprise that happen along the way to their HEA.
I did like the basis of the story-line and the characters of Rigs and especially Sophia. There were a few things that I found not so appealing, including the fact that his sexual exploits seem to be thrown in Sophia's face quite regularly and there is one scene that she should have stopped immediately given her character. The book also needs to visit a good proofreader/editor as there are a lot of errors, missing words, bad punctuation, tense, extra words, and a few more things. For me this really killed the flow of the story which then annoyed me as these are easily spotted by a final read through. I still liked the story but was surprised and disappointed by this.

Reigniting True Love -
Max was ecstatic to see Sophia years after they broke up, as he never got over her. Unfortunately, Sophia was still reeling from their breakup and tried to stay away from him. However, Max was persistent in his pursuit and determined to rekindle their relationship, as their chemistry was still off the charts hot. This book combines two of my favourite things to read about in romance books: gorgeous military men and second chance romance. The storyline was interesting, which made it difficult to put down once I started reading it. This is a book that you will definitely be happy that you read.

Sophie realized that she might run into Max, when she accept the job at Oakland. When Max saw Sophie again, he knew he needed to make her his, now how to get pass the past and the pain.
Rigs is a hot and steamy second chance romance with an intense Alpha determined to correct the past and make a future. Sophie's feeling for Max can not be hidden, there is just something of him that calls to her. When the walls come down the electricity connection could light up a city.
This is a great addition to the series.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the second book in the Hot Heroes series. This is the second chance romance between Max (Rigs) and Sophia. They had dated briefly years before, but Max and Sophia had deeper feelings than they would admit. When Max left on a mission, he ghosted Sophia and she never heard from him again. Now she is working at the same base as Max and when he is brought in with a gunshot wound, she is the doctor treating him. Max is shocked to see Sophia, but he knows he has to try to win her back. I liked this book. I liked Max, he knew he made mistakes and he wanted to make up for them. Max was a good man and i think they had to talk and learn to forgive each other. Another good one.

Max (Rigs) and Sophia were together 4 years ago but a misunderstanding tore them apart. Max has always thought of Sophia as the one that got away and has held back from having committed relationships because he still loves her. Sophia had a terrible experience and was broken by Max’s treatment of her so she left. When they meet again Sophia tries to keep away from Max but their chemistry and his determination to win her back are too hard to fight. Although can be read as a stand-alone I think it’s best to read the series to get the whole experience of the characters.

Rigs is book 2 int the Hot Heroes series by Alexis Ashlie. It is another stand alone with a happy ending. This story is a quick read that you will be able to enjoy in one sitting. Rigs is wounded military and he is sent to see a new doctor. Of course she is the woman he left get away over a stupid mistake. The chemistry and desire is still there for both but Sofia isn't ready to forgive, or so she keeps telling herself.
Quick story but character development an chemistry kept me reading. My one gripe is I would like to have read more with the couple.

This is the second book of the Hot Heroes series and what a great addition to the series. If you like hot alpha males and smart, sassy women then you will enjoy this book. This book is a steamy quick read that contains drama, trauma, misunderstanding, understanding, regret, and forgiveness. This is the second chance romance of Rigs and Sophia. This book is a great read and will be a great addition to your library.

This was so good. Rigs was in the army and met Sophie again at the medical centre after he had been shot.
This was intense and steamy, as Rigs was a full on, dominant sort of man and a forceful lover. He expected a lot from Sophie, but they also had history and issues tied to that time.
It was very well written, I enjoyed the friendship between the guys and having read Bruiser previously, it was great to tie it all in together. Looking forward to reading more on the series.

Rigs and his team just got back from a mission. He got injured and is being tended to by the nurse when the doctor comes in. The doctor is Sophia. Sophia left Rigs 4 years earlier. Rigs never got over Sophia. When they finally discuss what happened years earlier, it was a misunderstanding that could have been avoided if they would have talked to each other. Rigs is bound to get Sophia back but can she deal with his past?

A short fast passed story with some steamy times. Sophia and Rigs had a relationship which Sophia broke off and walked away from. It's been 4 years since Rigs saw Sophia and when she walks into the treatment room he is blown away. He has never stopped wanting Sophia and he want's to know what happened between them. They both have communication issues and things to fix. Max has made it clear that he want's her back in his life and he'll not take no for an answer. I'm glad they tried again. I love the HEA. This is book number 2 of the Hot Heros series and focuses on Max and Sophia. Max and Sophia had been an item 4 years prior to the start of this book but the relationship went down the drain after an impulsive action by Max made Sophia leave him. Now 4 years later, they meet again and Max is determined to win her back once and for all. Good book and a good addition to the series.

This second chance story didn't quite work for me as I didn't always believe in their connection and Rigs's character didn't sit well with me either. His actions, words and thoughts at times made me question how old he was and what sort of background he had. I did like how he was honest with Sophia this time around about his thoughts and feelings.

Sophia recognized his name and tried to ignore her feelings for him. It was hard so she tried her best.
Rigs tried to talk to her but wouldn't have it. Rigs tried everything he could think of to get her to go to dinner with him and talk. Finally Sophia gave in and went to his house for dinner.

Loving this hot heroes series...
I've been reading this author's books for quite a while now & I have to say that this story was her best to date. Perhaps it resonated on some level but I couldn't even leave my tablet behind for a quick comfort break, it was that good! You too will fall for the hot military man with an olive branch, hoping for a second chance with a sassy doctor some four years after their break up. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.

Short story but has some depth to it. Rigs, joined the army and having come back from placement meets up again with Sophia. Love of his life, serving medic but left him some time ago because he did not wish to commit to a full relationship and is now wary of him.
Rigs is determined and his efforts reap the rewards...

OMG I so loved Rigs by Alexis Ashlie. it was quick and oh so steamy. The chemistry between Rigs and Sophia was off the charts hot. Rigs hasn't seen Sophia in years but when he returns from deployment, she is the doctor that comes to check him out. Despite the time and distance between them, there is definitely still a very strong connection. Can he convince Sophia to give them a chance? I started reading and I simply couldn't out it down! 5 stars.

Loved the book it was great, the story was written well and the characters were intriguing. This story Is about Max and Sophia, with Max is in the army and has to go on assignments one day he came home and she was gone. Now it seems like fate living and working in the same area Max just wants a second chance with Sophia.

An amazing second chance romance page-turner! It is emotionally deep, engaging, relatable, funny, steamy, and well written with some drama, witty banter, twists, and more. The characters are likeable; the chemistry between them is undeniable and off the charts. Definitely recommended!

Extremely entertaining, captivating, and interesting sexy read. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong, intriguing characters. I want to read more from this author.
