Bleh. This book was kind of junk. I know that’s harsh but hear me out. This couple has been tip towing forward in precious books. This book did not do them justice.
Carter is almost immediately checking out other women because he’s fed up with not having sex and his girlfriend basically held captive by her family. He gives her an ultimatum then (without waiting for an answer) immediately goes out to get with someone else. There is OW on page action. Not sex but more than an oops kiss.
Drama and medical interventions and poof Carter is forgiven. Absolutely dissatisfied here.

Holy crap!! One of my favourite authors is back with Book 5 in the Boston Bay Vikings series and what a story!!
This one has had me through the wringer and there were times I had to put it down and take a deep breath.....or three....because?! Well, Carter!! Holy shit, that man has tested every damn nerve!!
Seriously though I could not put this down, Carter and Addison's story is far from smooth but my heart was hopeful. It got a bloody good stomping! But what a read!!
