The only men I’ve ever wanted are Slash, Ajax, and Draikh. There’s just one catch. They’re three famous rock stars, and they don’t know I exist.
The moment I heard Not a Vampire play, I fell in love. Not just with their music, but with three members of the band.
Keyboardist Slash, drummer Ajax, and bassist Draikh have become my obsession—but I’m just another screaming fan.
When I finally meet my rock star idols face to face, I discover that the stage effects they use aren’t actually illusions. Can I handle a dragon shifter, a mage, and a blue alien with extra limbs?
Saturn is a free prequel in the Solar Mates Series set in the Silver Springs shared universe and comes complete with a happily-ever-after. Scroll up to read this fun, quirky romance today.
Mia Harlan lives in Canada with her husband (who’s definitely Not a Vampire) and their adorably fluffy cat. They recently welcomed a Mini Mortal (a baby girl) and are happy to report she doesn't have fangs.
Mia is a librarian by day and an author by night. She's been reading romance since she turned 13 and published her first novel in mid-2019. She writes humorous, quirky (and mostly paranormal) reverse harem romance as Mia Harlan. She also plans to start publishing teen paranormal romance as Mia Meade once her Mini Mortal is a tad older and she can get back to her writing routine.
We are back with our newest addition to the Silver Springs Collection. This was such a cute little intro to the Solar Mates collection You have your quirky FMC, who is not used to being around supes and an all supe rock band. When they discover each other after a year of meeting, sparks fly again. I'm not into the whole hero worship thing, but somehow, made it work. Can't wait for the upcoming season!
A nice little intro to a new series. Curious about both Venus and Neptune. I didn’t like Saturn. She’s excited to dream of them as real supes and then freaks out when they are. I felt a little sorry for the guys but ouch to ditching the gig.

Saturn has been crushing on some of the band members of Not A Vampire for awhile. When she gets to go backstage at one of their concerts, she gets more than she bargains for.
Saturn is short quirky story that introduces us to a brand new series, the Solar Mates. It’s a fun prequel and you might recognize some of the characters from previous stories. I was happy to see them get their own HEA.
I love the Solar Mates series. So we all know about the band Not a Vampire right? Well you should since they have cameos in the Silver springs series. So here we have Saturn who is crushing hard on some of the members of the band. Draikh, Slash and Ajax saw her one time and have been looking for her ever since. So what do they do? Add more concerts to the tour. They are determined. However, Saturn is human but she has been dreaming about them since she thought they saw her. So will she get to see them again. Well I can say that things get a little bit crazy but yes we do get some laughs. It is fast paced and we get a whirlwind of excitement. Totally worth it and you will love how it all ends.
Two of my favorite things are short stories and anything related to Silver Springs, so I was really excited when they announced that this new series was going to start with Saturn. I loved the book, I think it’s the best way they could start the series and introduce us to some of the characters we are going to see in the next books. Please read this book, it’s going to take you a couple of hours and you’re going to fall in love with all the characters. It’s also going to help you a lot when you read Venus, even though they’re both are standalones, you would enjoy the next book more.
This is One H*** of a concert! This is were this series begin, a Not a vampire concert that has a lot of crazy fans.Saturn thinks that maybe She is one if them, a fan in love with tree guys from the band, but then She goes to the silver springs gig and... Well let me tell you, it is out of this world lol A wonderfull beginning for the Solar Mates.
This is a quick read that will give you all the feels. It introduces you to the new world from the amazing authors of Silver Springs. Saturn has what she thinks is a crush on some of her favorite band members, but do they actually feel the same way
Saturn is a short intro to the newest series from the Silver Springs Universe - Solar Mates. It introduces several of the female leads from various books, and also the rock band, Not a Vampire. I love a good rock star romance, and totally related to Saturn's reactions to the guys from the band - both fangirling and discovering their supernatural secrets! The story has a happy ending, and sets up the rest of the series brilliantly.
Saturn is soo much fun. Obsessed with the band Not a Vampire she finally gets her wish to meet them. Things don't go as planned for any of them. We get to meet Neptune and Venus in this book. Lots of steam and some laughs. Great addition to this series
I'm pretty sure that people who've been following me for a while now will recognize the cover and style immediately. Yes! It's time for another season of Silver Springs stories! This time no spelled latte or a spelled book. This time all stories are taking place around the same concert. But, just like in previous seasons, all girls have one thing in common: They all have the name of a planet! It's sad that they decided Pluto isn't a planet, but their loss.
This short novella, the introduction to this new series and the new setting, is a great way to find out if the Silver Springs stories might be for you. Firstly because the book is free on all platforms, which means all you'll lose is a little bit of your time, but secondly because even though the novella is only short, it does introduce Silver Springs and all the elements making the stories so entertaining and light hearted.
Just like in the previous series the common plot is that a girl is meeting her fated mates. Yes, plural. However, how they meet, how they find their way to each other and how their romance develops? That's different for everyone! This novella didn't have too much complications, apart from the usual ones when four people have to make a relationship work, however I can already assure you that in the next books there are more issues to be solved!
Despite the fact this was only a novella, the authors did manage to paint a vivid picture of the main characters and to make them more than just stereotypes. I really liked that all the guys had a point of view chapter so we also got to know them a little better. I was also really happy with how Saturn reacted to everything. It felt very natural and realistic. On top of that we also see a glimpse of the stars of the other books. I can't wait to get to know them better!
Saturn was a sweet romp in Silver Springs new series Solar Mates. It's a short story to kick of the crazy, funny and hot action coming your way. It was awesome!
Wow, this book has set the standard for the rest of the series. It's got the same great world building we have come to expect from these authors. It was funny, sweet and a little sad. I can't wait to read the rest of the books coming.
I really enjoyed this prequel that kicks off the Solar mates series and the newest addition to the Silver Springs world. It was a quick read but it crammed a lot into it.
Saturn's crushes end up becoming a reality thats much steamier in real life. I loved Saturn and the guys. I also loved that we briefly meet Venus and Neptune whose books im looking forward to reading. Saturn was a pretty short but good read with endearing characters
I read Venus first before Saturn, so I already knew what to expect from this. However, I felt like Saturn's was rushed, and I wished I could have read it as a full-length novel.
Saturn is a college student who goes to see the campus concerts of Not A Vampire. She's been obsessed with 3 members of the band since she saw them playing a year ago, and she really can't get them out of her mind. Ajax, Slash and Draikh have been looking for Saturn too as they are supes and she's their mate. When Saturn finds out the truth of what they are, she needs to decide if she's willing to accept them to have her happily ever after.
Saturn is star struck. It’s been a year and all she can think about them. This was a faced paced amazing read from two of the best authors. It does shed light on some characters we will see in the new series. A must read before you start the solar mates series!
The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with a novella to introduce us to the new series. Saturn is extremely excited to be meeting the band, starstruck to dream about her supes mates but gets a little nervous when her reality turns out to be true crushing on the three (well that part hasn’t come true yet). Draikh plays the bass, Slash owns the keyboard and Ajax a drummer (the one your mother warned you about) saw her one time and have been looking for her ever since. They need to find her because she is their fated mate and they will see her soon because they are playing live at her university and she is their waiting they pick her up taking her to their dressing room. They explain who or better yet what they are a mage, a dragon shifter and an alien but freaking out like a normal person would running from their truth. But she isn’t getting away from them like that she is their mate, and they will do what it takes to convince her will they find her, if they find her will she accept them as they are, and can they find happiness?
After reading this I’m definitely looking forward to the rest of the series.
What does it mean when you dream you are being ravished by three of the hottest rock stars on the planet? Saturn is about to find out.
Rock band Not A Vampire has some of the hottest men in the world but when Saturn saw them live a year ago three of them caught her eye, literally. Since then she’s been having some very naughty dreams of not just one but all three…..together. At the same time they’ve been playing all over in order to find her, she’s their fated mate. Now they are playing live at her university campus and she can’t wait. When they see her standing waiting they carry her away to their dressing room. That’s when they tell her what they really are, a mage, a dragon shifter and an alien. She freaks out and runs and they end up cancelling and going to look for her.
This short story has steamy scenes and a happily ever after ending. It will have you hooked and wanting more.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I'm always pleasantly surprised when it comes to this series and I never know what the Author will come up for us next. The famous its not a vampire rock band finally get there own story and are back in silver spring on a tour that's causing a storm with the fans and one In particular Saturn who will sets things in motion for more great storys to come. The atmosphere of the band was so immense you literally felt like you were part of the crowd looking in behind the scene were Saturn is totally smitten with the band and dreams of meeting them. The suspense that lead up to the moment were she meets the band was just priceless and I wasnt quite sure if things would turn out ok but i Loved meeting the band and how they reacted to Saturn after waiting to long to find her and I'm looking forward to more storys to come.
This was a great little short novella, that introduction us to a new series. Definitely left you a little bit curious about both Venus and Neptune. If I'm honest I had a love-hate relationship with Saturn. You could tell that she was extremely excited and starstruck to dream about her supes mates but freaks out when her reality turns out to be true who does that!! but I guess it's a natural and realistic reaction I didn't have to like it. Anyways I like that all the guys had their own POV chapter it let us get to know them a little bit better which was a bonus. Also I can tell you things do get a lit bit crazy after that but we get to experience some awesome laugh out loud moment. Overall a great read.
I got this book for free via Amazon and am leaving my review voluntarily. It is the start of a new series but set in the Silver Springs paranormal world. (Silver Skates series and Spell Library series)
Triggers: RH paranormal storyline
Spoilers: Saturn, roommate of Venus. also sort of friends with Neptune. has a huge crush on the band members of a famous rock group.
Slash, Ajax, Draikh - the rockstars. they have been searching for their mate after they saw her a year ago at another concert.
She meets them at a concert and it is lust at first site but when she finds out they are supernaturals she panicks and runs away. Some fun adventure and laughs.
"It's funny that I read this story after Venus because a few things that were weird on her story had lots of sense after Saturn's story but anyway back to this story. OMG! Sweet, funny and so adorable. Like I've said nothing is hotter than a man head over heels in love with you that isn't scared to admit it, add two more guys, just perfection! All the guys were so sweet and adorable. The first chapters broke my heart that but when it's meant to be love always conquer. A great beginning to a new series. I'm so happy that this world still has lots of stories to tell. Welcome back to Silver Springs!"
Ever since Saturn heard the band Not a Vampire play she has been in love with three of the band members - keyboardist Slash, drummer Ajax and bassist Draikh. When she finally meets them face to face she discovers that the stage effects that they use are not an illusion - can she handle a dragon shifter, a mage and a blue alien with extra limbs?
This fun prequel is a quick read to introduce readers to the Solar Mates series. I quite liked the premise of supernatural hiding in plain sight finding their mates among "normal" people who need to make a giant leap to understand what they are. Easy to read and understand. A good light read to take you away from the normal world.
Oh my stars! I love this story. It's the first in the Solar Mates series. This is a mix of fantasy and sci-fi, reverse harem romance. There's a goodly amount of angst as the human main character learns about the world of supernatural beings.
I especially like getting to know more about Not A Vampire, the band that has been mentioned in many of the Silver Springs books.
Saturn's book is a fun, steamy romp with her three rock star mates. It's a perfect introduction to this group of women named for the planets in our solar system.
I'm excited to learn more about Neptune and Venus!
Great book to kick off a new series linked to the Silver springs books. Saturn attended a Not a vampire concert a year ago and her eyes met with 3 of the band members. Since then she hasn't been able to stop thinking about them and has had some hot dreams about them too! They wouldn't have noticed her though.... would they? Really enjoyed this and sets the scene nicely for the next book Venus who we also met in this story. If the rest of the series is as good as this it will be one hell of a series!
This is a well written story of a girl crushing on a few members of a rock band. Not all the members and not the lead singer as you might think. She has been dreaming of them for a year now what she doesn't know is they have been thinking of her too. They run into a few problems along the way. In every story it happens they just aren't the usual problems. It is a cute story and will have you getting interested in the characters.

Quickie, but oh so satisfying....So this novella was to introduce the third season of the Silver Springs and they started this season with a grand slam. The authors hit every note to into this new series by touching on some of the characters to come, giving us some great characters to start with and a story to really sink the teeth into. The rock star men brought the heat and Saturn was real with believable reactions and feelings. I loved this story and I know, if this is any indication, this series is gonna rock to the moon and back!
I was curious about the story, rock stars that are various paranormal & alien and a RH to boot, but should have known better, since it's a novella at 82 pages & labeled "0.5" to the series. This definitely read like a novella, not much substance or background or character development. Even the sex is bland & boring. It relies heavily on the "mate bond" & rock star status of the 3 guys -to the detriment of the actual connections between the characters that all end up feeling fake or forced. I wish I hadn't wasted my time. I will not continue with the series.
First book I've read by these two authors. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Saturn loves the rock band Not a Vampire. She loves three of the band members Draikh, Slash and Ajax. Could her dreams come true when she finally gets to meet them. Draikh, Slash and Ajax are supernatural beings. No one in the human world really knows that. When they lay eyes on Saturn. They have to convince her she was meant for them. It was light hearted and sexy. I also liked her roommate Venus and her friend Neptune.
I really enjoyed this quick read. A mega fan of a band has been having fantasies about three of the members of her favorite band since she saw them live at a concert. The feeling is mutual but they have to tell her about their true selves and humans don't know about the supernatural world. It The book doesn't have the character development of a longer book but I did like all the characters we were introduced to. The concept of supernaturals and aliens side by side was fun. I am interested in reading more from this author. It was fun, quirky and sexy.
