Three swoony cowboys, three bestselling standalone romances, one collection from Kim Loraine's Sunrise, Montana world.
SADDLE UP
He's a handsome cowboy trying to save his family's ranch. I'm a reality TV producer with a brilliant plan. Sparks fly when Clint Ryker strikes a deal with me that brings me to the ranch to learn the ropes. But when we get snowed in together, with only one bed, everything changes.
BUCKED OFF
A word of advice. Don't fall in love with your fake fiancee. When the producer of my family's reality show, Saddle Up, tried to get me to participate in an on-screen scripted romance, I saw only one way out. I told them I was unavailable-engaged, to be exact. That meant I needed a fake fiancee, pronto. Enter spitfire, and the girl who got away once upon a time, Penny Callahan. It should be harmless. Pretend to be together until the show is done shooting, then move on with our lives. But living with the woman of my dreams and playing the part of lovesick fool is easy for reasons I don't want to admit. And I don't want to let her go.
RIDDEN HARD
Baby daddy (noun) slang The cowboy who knocked me up after one night together.
They call me the wild one. The Ryker brother who'd rather have more notches on his bedpost than rodeo championships. I'm good with horses, even better with women. I've been warned that sowing my oats might have consequences, but I'm always careful. And there's nothing wrong with having a little fun. But the truth is, I want more than fun. I want it all. With the right girl. So when the most beautiful woman I've ever seen shows up at my ranch, it should all fall into place. Except she's got a big surprise for me. She's pregnant, and the kid is mine, but she wants nothing to do with me.
USA Today bestselling author Kim Loraine was raised a Navy brat but spent most of her life growing up in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. A proper Washingtonian, she's addicted to coffee, doesn't let a little rain ruin her day, and thinks the sun is a gift from God. When not chasing her three little minions around, Kim spends her time writing, reading, and binge watching Doctor Who.
Kim Loraine has got me hooked on cowboys, and after you read this collection, you'll be hooked to! She writes the absolute best cowboy romances - a little bit of grit, a lot of swagger, tons of laughs, and steam for days. So get yourself a cowboy to ride. You won't be disappointed.
Saddle Up, Book 1, gives us Clint and Ever's story, and it introduces us to Ryker Ranch, which is struggling to stay afloat after the death of the Ryker patriarch. When Ever is sent to scope out the ranch for a new reality show, she never dreams she'd fall in love with a real-life cowboy. But Clint is smitten from the moment Ever walks onto the ranch, and from there, it's simply a matter of fate.
Bucked Off, Book 2, gives us Buck and Penny's romance. Where Clint and Ever were love at first sight, Buck and Penny are oil and water, all prickly and friction based on a past misunderstanding. But that quickly turns to friendship that blossoms into much more along the way.
Ridden Hard, Book 3, is Tristan and Hazel, and wow do they start quickly! Tristan does not know what hit him with Hazel. They fall in love fast and hard, and then they have to figure out how to make it work. And boy does Hazel make that man work for it.
I loved each of these stories. While each brother is so different, they are such a cohesive family. Each of these cowboys is swoony, sweet and special in their own way. Their ladies are exactly what they need and deserve, and they are all fierce, smart and strong.
You want these cowboys in your life, I promise you.
The Ryker Ranch Collection by Kim Loraine is a box set with the books 1-3 on the Ryker Ranch Series. If you enjoy the cowboy romances like I do then this is the set for you. I enjoyed each of the steamy books. I always love too when the hero falls fast and they secondary characters are so much fun. This is also a great way to read books from a new author to get down their writing style. These are the books you are getting in this set: SADDLE UP BUCKED OFF RIDDEN HARD

Can’t wait for the rest of the Ryker family stories! Please hurry Ms. Loraine 🥰
1-Saddle Up Kim Loraine Whenever you start a new series you don’t know what to expect. Kim Loraine knows exactly how to rein in her readers. Saddle Up is an amazing read that will have you hooked to every word. Strong main characters as well as secondary ones. Clint and Ever could not be any more different. Cowboy and city girl. How could it possibly work? He is trying to save his ranch and trying to get over the fact his ex ran off with all their money. The company Ever works for has offered to film a reality show on Clint’s ranch. He doesn’t want to do it, but the money would help save the ranch and bring it back into the black. Sparks fly between Clint and Ever from the first time they meet. Saddle Up is such a romantic story. Once you start you cannot put it down. Clint’s brothers and sister only add to the awesomeness of this story. A great beginning to a new series and one where I cannot wait for the other brother’s stories as well as Sera’s.
2- Bucked Off Kim Loraine “I didn’t realize it (love) also means a future filled with happy days and warm nights and everything in between.” Swoon… Wow could this story get any better. What started as a fake engagement changed along the way. Buck and Penny both entered into this for their own personal reasons. Even though Penny had feelings for Buck, she promised herself they would stay hidden. She didn’t think Buck felt the same way for her and she didn’t want to risk heartbreak. The more time they were together the more those feelings became harder to keep hidden. Buck started to realize his feelings for her were changing and instead of an end date he wanted her permanently. Both had no idea of what the other was feeling. If only they told each other how they felt so much could have been avoided. Penny and Buck are so perfect together. Watching them grow closer as time goes on but always thinking, could this be real or is it because of the cameras is what will keep you glued to every word. I am enjoying this series with each couple. Each couple has their own unique story that you will fall in love with. An enjoyable read and a story so deserving of 5 stars.
3- Ridden Hard Kim Loraine Another great read by Kim Loraine. Tristan is a playboy, but once Hazel finds him to tell him of her pregnancy he takes full responsibility of the situation. From the time he met Hazel he felt something for her. Since they did not exchange last names on their one night stand he had no way of locating her. But he never forgot her. He hadn’t even been with anyone else since. Hazel didn’t know how to find him and was ready to raise her unborn child by herself. It was her sister’s YouTube show that she found out who he was and where he lived. From the moment he saw her at the ranch he took full responsibility. He even told her they would get married. Hazel didn’t expect that reaction, all she wanted to do was let him know about the baby. She never expected or wanted anything from him. She had just gotten over a bad marriage and didn’t trust men. Especially playboys. But the more time she spent with his family and him at the ranch she started to think what if… But could this be real? Could they have a future together? His family was something she craved and they accepted her and the baby with open arms. Could this all be a dream? He told her everything she wanted to hear, could it be real? Could she trust Tristan? As far as Tristan was concerned she was it for him. He knew it from the first time they were together and now fate or whatever you want to call it brought her back to him he was going to do everything possible to keep her at the ranch and in his life. I loved how Tristan took total responsibility because of how he was brought up. Family values and upbringing taught him not to run but accept what life has brought him. He knew Hazel was special from their first meeting. Such a beautiful love story and what family is all about. Could not put this one down.
An individual review for each book is below, but in short, I very much enjoyed this collection and highly recommend it for all contemporary romance fans.
Book 1: "Saddle Up"
Clint Ryker, the eldest of the five Ryker siblings and majority owner of Ryker Ranch, is doing his best to hold everything together after a heartbreaking betrayal by his ex-girlfriend, Jess. The ranch is in dire financial straits after Jess stole most of the Ryker family's money and disappeared, and if they can't find a way to increase their revenue, they may be forced to sell. Without her children's knowledge, Clint's mother arranges a meeting with reality TV producer Ever Wilson, who's looking for a place to film her new reality show, described as a cross between "City Slickers" and "Survivor." Clint and his brothers are concerned about the prospect of allowing untrained workers to try their hand at potentially dangerous ranch work, but Ever is offering a lot of money, which the ranch desperately needs. Clint finally agrees to Ever's proposal, but only if she can get through two weeks as a ranch hand first.
Even though he swore off relationships after Jess's betrayal, Clint couldn't help being drawn to Ever as soon as they met, and their feelings for each other grew quickly in spite of his fears. Surprisingly, it was Ever who panicked as they started to grow closer, running back to Los Angeles and using a no-fraternization clause in the reality show contract as an excuse to break things off. Clint wouldn't let her go without a fight, however. It was sweet how protective he was of her, even though at first he tried to pass it off as concern for the ranch and their liability if she got hurt while working there.
Overall, "Saddle Up" was a great start to the Ryker Ranch series and I enjoyed it. It will be very interesting to see what happens with Clint's siblings as the reality show begins filming over the next few books of the series. 4 stars.
Book 2: "Bucked Off"
When middle brother Buck Ryker learns that producers of the reality show being filmed on his family's ranch plan to script a "romance" between him and one of the show's contestants, he's determined to avoid it by any means necessary. His younger brother Tristan suggests that Buck find a fake fiancee to take himself off the market. At first, Buck doesn't take the idea seriously, but when he runs into his teenage crush Penny Callahan, now a recently unemployed massage therapist, he quickly realizes that a fake relationship would be beneficial for them both. In exchange for acting as his fiancee for three months, Buck offers Penny a place to live, a job in the new Ryker Ranch spa, and a share of his earnings from the reality show, which Penny plans to use to buy her dream house and start her own business after their "relationship" ends. Living together proves to be more of a challenge than either of them expected when their long-simmering chemistry finally ignites. Will they really be able to walk away when their agreement comes to an end?
I loved Buck and Penny as a couple and thought that their relationship development was perfectly paced. As much as they tried to tell themselves they were only friends with benefits, it was obvious that they had a deeper connection from the start. Their banter was a ton of fun, and I also enjoyed how sweetly Buck cared for Penny after she was thrown from her horse and injured. He even read her romance novels and seemed to enjoy them - be still, my heart!
Overall, I enjoyed "Bucked Off" even more than the first book of the Ryker Ranch series and highly recommend it for all contemporary romance fans. I look forward to finding out what happens in the next book. 5 stars.
Book 3: "Ridden Hard"
While out with her twin sister Erin for a night of fun following a tough divorce, nurse practitioner Hazel meets and has a one-night stand with Tristan Ryker, who's in town to see his older brother Sam compete in a rodeo competition. Several weeks later, Hazel is shocked to learn that she's pregnant. She and Tristan didn't exchange phone numbers or even last names, so she has no way to contact him at first. She finally figures out his identity after she and Erin watch the first episode of the Saddle Up reality show, which is filmed at Ryker Ranch. Afterwards, Erin decides to book them a stay at the ranch so that Hazel can share the news with her baby daddy. Hazel doesn't expect anything from Tristan, but he surprises her by insisting on being there for her and his child.
There was a lot more to Tristan than it seemed based on his playboy reputation, and as Hazel's week on the ranch progressed, she found it increasingly difficult to resist him. Still recovering from the trauma of her divorce, Hazel was understandably afraid of making a mistake that would result in her getting hurt again. However, Tristan knew that Hazel was special, and I loved how patient and understanding he was in his efforts to prove that he was worthy of her trust.
Overall, "Ridden Hard" was another excellent addition to the Ryker Ranch series, and I highly recommend it for all contemporary romance fans. 5 stars.

I love this series and having all three together in one bundle is fantastic. Kim Loraine has built a world of swoon worthy cowboys and strong women who reign in these cowboys.
Book 1- Saddle Up, Clint and Ever’s story I’m always ready for a steamy cowboy romance and Saddle Up did not disappoint. The first book in the Ryker Ranch world set up the series beautifully and I can’t wait to start the rest.
The Ryker Ranch is struggling. After an employee fled with all of their money, they are in the red. However, Mama Ryker has been working behind the scenes. A Hollywood producer has been looking for a ranch to film a new reality show. The oldest, Clint, is not happy about it. But when he meets the producer, Ever, he takes an instant liking to her. Convincing her to spend some time on the ranch to get a feel for the work, the two get closer.
Clint is cowboy perfection. He’s handsome, a little rough, tough and has a heart of gold. I liked him from the very first chapter and loved how his character grew. Ever is tough herself and was up for the challenge of wrangling the ranch and the cowboy. Their relationship was steamy and oh so sweet. I can’t wait to read about the other brothers.
Book 2- Bucked Off, Buck and Penny’s story
I absolutely loved Buck and Penny’s spicy relationship. This was a great enemies to friends to lovers story.
Penny and Buck have known each other for most of their lives. They had a misunderstanding from years ago, although Buck being a guy, he didn’t realise it. However, Buck is in need of a fake fiancé and Penny needs a job after being fired from hers. The TV show on the ranch is taking off and Buck needs her.
Buck is a sweet and protective cowboy. I love how was doing what he could for the ranch. Penny and Buck’s chemistry. It was off the charts hot but it was also sweet. It developed so naturally and went at a wonderful pace. Penny is the perfect addition to the Ryker clan.
Book 3- Ridden Hard, Tristen and Hazel’s story Tristen and Hazel's story was so much fun and so sweet to read. I love how independent Hazel was from the beginning, it showed how strong she was and that she was the right match for Tristen.
Tristen and Hazel meet one night at a dive bar when Tristen is in California visiting Sam. They have one night together but Hazel leaves before he wakes up the next day. Fast forward a couple months later and Hazel finds out she's pregnant. Since they didn't exchange numbers or even last names, she's on the quest to find him. Thankfully her sister watches their reality show and she sees him on there. Tristen is surprised to say the least but is 100% committed to be raising the baby with her.
Even though he was known as the playboy, once he committed, he is. I love that he never once doubted Hazel and wanted everything to do with his child. No wild horses could have stopped him. And then there was Mama Ryker. Gosh, I love her. I loved the bond that her and Hazel formed in this book. It was so sweet. And of course, we get updates and appearances from the rest of the crew. I love how this series has been developed and evolved. One of my go to cowboy romances now.
✅Cowboy romance ✅Hollywood romance ✅Opposites attract ✅Reality show ✅HEA This a great beginning to a new series of books. Super sexy cowboys and lots of sexual tension! I just wish the book had been a little longer and a little more detailed at certain points. Overall, great little book!
# 2- Bucked Off
✅Cowboy romance ✅Second Chance romance ✅Fake fiancé/relationship ✅Slow burn ✅Part of interconnected series ✅HEA
My review:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Heat factor:🔥🔥🔥
When the television executives responsible for filming a reality TV show on the Ryker Ranch approach Buck about having a fake romance with a contestant, it is a HARD NO! In a moment of panic, he tells them he is engaged to be married …the problem is, who will he get to pretend to be engaged to him for the time being?
Buck was Penny’s first kiss and love. But after being hurt, she ran away and has kept her distance ever since. That is, until her life crumbles. Now, with no job or place to stay, when Buck propositions her to be his fake fiancé, it seems almost too good to be true.
This is a slow burn romance. These two constantly spark with sexual energy and once they finally succumb to their feelings ❤️❤️❤️❤️. What’s fake certainly doesn’t seem fake anymore!
Both Buck and Penny are hardheaded and difficult and fight their love for each other, but In the end, the inevitable happened and they both find their HEA! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
# 3- Ridden Hard
✅Cowboy romance ✅Second chance romance ✅Accidental/surprise pregnancy ✅Part of interconnected series ✅HEA
My review:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Heat Factor:🔥🔥🔥🔥
Tristan Ryker had always been the wild child of the Ryker boys. The playboy and eternal bachelor. After an incredible one night stand with a woman, Hazel, leaves him smitten, he is left disappointed when she has disappeared without a trace.
Weeks after having an amazing night with a mysterious cowboy, Hazel finds herself pregnant and has no idea how to find the cowboy in question, until she and her sister stumble across the Ryker’s reality show, she finally knows how to find Tristan.
After scheduling a stay on the ranch so she can confront Tristan about her pregnancy, she learns there is more to him than his womanizing ways.
Hazel finds herself smitten with Tristan and the whole Ryker clan.
This is a sweet second chance romance and I loved how Tristan works to win Hazel over and immediately wants to protect her and their baby! ❤️❤️❤️
Do you love a series with an amazing family dynamic? How about a feisty mother that is able to keep hoards of grown men in their place? How about hot cowboys that fall hard and fast for their ladies? Then this is definley the series for you! This collection is perfect. It is the first three books in the series, and trust me you will binge read it! I think it has it all, including a reality tv show filmed at the ranch! This series follows the Ryker family, and 3 of the brothers. There is an opposites attract, fake relationship, and accidental pregnancy. These basically are my kryptonite. Book one in the collection is Saddle Up and it is an opposite attract. Clint is trying to keep his family's ranch afloat after his fathers death and was recently taken advantage of by a woman. Ever is a woman who I think was a little lost, and just never knew it. When she stepped on the ranch while pitching the reality tv show she fell in love not only with a cowboy but everything the ranch had to offer. I adored this couple, and how much they both loved! It was a hard fought love, but they are perfection together! Bucked Off is book two in the collection, and is a fake fiance. Fake fiance, with a sweet cowboy and a feisty heroine. Yes, please! I really love Buck. He might actually be my favorite Ryker sibling. He is so sweet and loves so much. He has had his eye on Penny for many years. Once he conveniences Penny they should embark on a fake relationship the sparks fly. To be honest, it took me a while to warm up to Penny and she did something that made me shake my head. But I loved how their story came together and evolved throughout the series. Bucked Hard is book 3 and it is a one night stand, accidental pregnancy. Tristan Ryker is a playboy. He likes the ladies a lot. He spends one night with a hot blonde that he cannot get out of his head. Months later she arrives at his doorstep….pregnant with his baby. Hazel might be my favorite of the trilogy. She is smart and independent. She knows what she wants, but she is also good at protecting herself due to her hurtful past. Tristan grew a lot throughout this story and I really enjoyed watching him fall head over heels in love with Hazel. If you are on the fence about this collection or series, I urge you to take the plunge! It is so good! Kim Loraine has quickly become one of my favorite authors and an automatic read for me!
Each story in this box set tells the story of how each one of the Ryker boys fell in love. There's even a bonus addition of how George and Sandy Ryker their parents fell in love.
I listened to each book in audio and loved the swoon-worthy voice of the male narrator.
SADDLE UP Saddle Up begins where Clint is picking up the pieces after his ex-fiance had pretty much left the family broke after doing away with all their money, although it doesn't go into details of this so the story felt lacking in that respect and needed more depth. I do love a swoon-worthy cowboy though and Clint Ryker definitely ticked all the right boxes. I thoroughly enjoyed this insta love story
BUCKED OFF Buck and Penny's story starts off as a pretend romance for the production company filming on their ranch. The tv series being filmed on the Ryker ranch first starts in the first book in this series and the theme continues even though Penny and Bucks story is completely new and can be read as a stand-alone.
Buck needs a woman. Specifically, any woman the production company hasn't picked for him, just so the production company can add romance to the series. Bucks won't be told who he has a relationship with and draws the line at that so he spins a line saying that he's already spoken for.
Penny has known Buck most of her life. She hates him, they have history, and initially, she agrees to Buck's crazy proposition only because she's out if work and needs somewhere to work and live.
What starts off as a pretend romance becomes real and a slow burn romance evolves.
RIDDEN HARD Tristan is the playboy of the bunch, he's also the least you would expect to fall in love so quickly given his reputation but when Hazel turns up with a surprise baby bump he's so done for. She's the one woman he's had a one-night stand with and couldn't get her out of his head. Fate played a part in bringing them back together.
Swoon-worthy hero. Likable heroine and a happy ending what more can you ask for.
BONUS EDITION - HARD LOVE This book takes you back to where it all began before the Ryker boys and their sister were born. How George and Sandy fell in love. This short story is also free on Amazon if you want to try it out before delving into the series
Saddle Up - With the family ranch in desperate need of an influx of cash, Clint's only option is to have a reality show film on the property. He may not be happy about it but it gets even worse when the show's producer, Ever, rubs him the wrong way. They say opposites attract but can Clint and Ever go from enemies to lovers? Can you really fall for someone who you think hates you? This book is not just a cowboy romance. It is filled with the sense of family that leaves the reader wanting more. I cannot wait for more in this series. Bucked Off - Posted as the new Romeo for the reality show that has taken over his family's ranch, Buck has decided to throw a wrench in their plans by stating he is engaged. Without a fiancé Buck is left scrambling to find one. When a blast from his past crosses his path, Penny becomes the Fake fiancé. But will feeling become more than just lies when the two find themselves together? Or wil the hurt from the past come back and bite Buck in the chaps? I loved the enemies to lovers storyline surrounded by a great family that puts a smile on the readers face as they read. I think cowboys have become the new sex symbols. Ridden Hard - Fresh from her divorce, Hazel is taken out to a local bar for a night of fun and enjoyment. When a hot cowboy catches her eye it seems like the perfect set up to drop her inhibitions and have a one night stand. But a few weeks later when she realizes she is pregnant, not knowing the name of the baby daddy is going to be a problem. Good thing Tristian is part of the Ryker family that has it's own reality show. Will Tristian want to be part of the baby's life? Or will Hazel be left all on her own. In true Kim Loraine fashion the storyline hooks the readers from the opening pages. The surprise baby took nothing away from the romance that was brewing between her characters and only added to the level of enjoyment. With just the little snippets of Sam's story I am already waiting on pins and needles for that release.
This is a great collection of stories which are entertaining and addictive page turners. This set consists of the following: - Saddle Up This is the 1st book in this amazing series and is Clint and Ever’s story. Clint is a cowboy who is focused on saving his family’s ranch which is struggling to stay afloat. Ever is the producer of a TV reality show, and she is sent to the ranch to scop it out for a program. From the moment Clint and Ever meets there is an undeniable attraction between them. And Clint strikes a deal with Ever to stay at the ranch and learn the everything about it, which she gladly agrees to. These two are a perfect match and the attraction between them is undeniable. Bucked Off This is the 2nd book in this amazing series and is Buck and Penny’s story. While the reality show is being filmed at the ranch Buck is portrayed as a Romeo, and he decides to take matters into his own hands and states that he is engaged, which leaves him scrambling to find a fake fiancée. Penny is a little spitfire, and she is the one that got away after a misunderstanding tore them apart. Now Penny agrees to become his fake fiancée until the filming of the show ends. These two are like petrol and a match, and complete opposites, but the chemistry between them is combustible and undeniable, and they complement each other perfectly. Ridded Hard This is the 3rd book in this amazing series and Tristan is the youngest in the family and is a playboy. After a 1-night stand Tristan cannot get the women off his mind, and when Hazel shows up to do the right thing and tell him they have a surprise baby on the way, he takes full responsibility for his actions. Hazel has trust issues after a bad marriage previously, and the Ryker family have a strong family bond which embraces her into the fold. This is a well written story which has off the charts’ chemistry, family love, and is a heartwarming and entertaining read. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend for all.
Ever Wilson is a city girl through and through. She's in Montana to sign a TV deal with the Ryker family with her a producer. But when she takes a good look at Clint Ryker, all she can think about is the no-fraternization clause.
Clint Ryker needs to uphold his legacy. It's up to him to keep the ranch going that has been in his family for generations. When a TV show producer comes calling, the last thing he needs is a gorgeous, city girl that makes him lose his mind.
I loved this first Ryker story. Clint is such a sexy grump. He's been burned but he's not twice shy. I loved how he gave Ever a chance even after heartbreak. Ever was such a strong person. I loved how she put her all into learning the ropes at the ranch.
Bucked Off
Buck Ryker needs a fake fiancée immediately so he doesn't have to have a romance on the new reality TV show at his family's farm. In walks his first crush Penny.... she'll work.
Penny Callahan has stayed away from Buck since they were kids. She desperately needs a job, house, and money. Can she be his fake fiancée and not let the past rewrite itself?
I really enjoyed this story. Buck and Penny's past was a defining moment for both of them. It's the same old story of never assume without confronting the situation. I loved how they were able to get passed it.
Ridden Hard
Tristan Ryker is the ultimate playboy. He just wants to work the ranch and have a good time. He doesn't want to be tied down. Until one of his one night stands shows up with a gift.
Hazel just wanted to be wild for once. A one night stand after her jerk of an ex left. Little did she know that she walked away with a present. She doesn't even know his last name.
I loved this story. I felt kinda bad for Tristan because yeah he's a player but he's upfront about it. I loved how sweet he was with the horses, especially Wildfire. Hazel was such a strong and independent woman. Her ex was such a jerk. I loved how she was at the right place and the right time to help Mama. I can't wait to test the rest of the stories of the Ryker family! 🖤
The Ryker Ranch Collection is book 1-3 of the series. Kim Loraine does an amazing job with these 3 books.
IN BOOK 1 Saddle Up is Clint and Ever’s story When the ranch starts having trouble because their employees ran off with their money. Their mama found out Hollywood producer is looking for a ranch to film a reality show. So Clint meets with the producer Ever who he feels a instant connection with her. So, he convinces her to stay at the ranch to get a know how the ranch work. And Ever begins feels the same way about Clint. And she knows how to handle the cowboys on the ranch. Their journey is steamy and sweet.
IN BOOK 2 Buckled Off is Buck and Penny’s Story When they want Buck to have a fake relationship for the reality show. But he tells them he is engaged. So now he needs a partner, and he turns to Penny. Penny has no job or place to stay since losing her job. So, when Buck propositions to her to be his fake fiancé it’s answer to both of their problems. But in the end, they found their HEA.
IN BOOK 3 Ridden Hard Tristen and Hazel’s Story Tristen and Hazel have one night stand and Hazel leaves before he wakes up. Now couple months later Hazel founds she is pregnant but since she does know Tristen last name. But her sister was watching the ranch reality show and see him on it. Then she books a visit at the ranch. Even though he is known for his womanizer way when he found out about his baby. He will do anything for Hazel. Hazel also forms a bond with Mama Ryker too. The love between Tristen and Hazel is incredible.
This collection is amazing. And characters are incredible. Each story will make you fall more in love with this family.
Overall performance: This is read in duet which is my preference. Aaron Shedlock and Stella Hunter are some of my favorite voice talent. They do not disappoint. Even though though they do all three book the characters are distinct an unique which is isn’t easy to do. Overall story: I have fallen in love with Ryker Ranch. All of the characters and stories have been wonderful
Saddle Up Clint is the typical oldest son who feels like he needs to carry the weight of the world. Ever is the typical fiercely independent city girl who doesn’t want to rely on anyone. They meet under unusual circumstances and sparks fly. There is plenty of steam throughout. Clint and Ever get their HEA but the overarching story for the series gets it’s start here
Bucked Off I love a good fake fiancé trope and this does not disappoint. Buck and Penny are in denial from the start about their feelings for each other. They fight tooth and nail to convince themselves it is all fake but in the end of course they get together. This was not as steamy as Saddle Up but it still had some. They do get an HEA.
Ridden Hard
Usually I am not one for the accidental pregnancy trope. However, Tristan and Hazel’s story was so much more than that and I was hooked from the beginning. It starts with a steamy one night stand, then there is a major steamy dry spell and there is a little more steam in the last part of the story. Tristan is just so swoon worthy and the plot is so good that the lack of steam is forgotten. I can’t wait to keep going with this series.
I loved this collection. I had previously read book 3 of this collection and really enjoyed it, so reading books 1 and 2 was brilliant and gave you a lot better understanding of the Ryker family and where everyone fitted in.
Book 1 was Clint and Ever's story. Clint is trying to save the family's ranch, Ever is the producer of a TV show which could do just that. The chemistry between this pair was off the charts and you get a sizzling hot romance.
Book 2 is Buck and Pennie's story. The TV show wants to use Buck as an "eligible" batchelor and set up an on screen romance, however Buck doesn't want to be a part of this. Pennie is a girl back from high school, who Buck hurt back in those days. Pennie agrees to be Buck's fake fiance for the duration of the show. But those old flames have never died, now Buck and Pennie need to face their past and work on how to move forward.
Book 3 is Tristan and Hazel's story they met one night in a club, spent a hot sizzling night together and went their seperate ways. But Hazel is carrying Tristans baby. What follows is a page turner. You easily relate to Hazel and her feelings of distrust towards Tristan. Tristan is a hot, sexy cowboy, he's one of the stars of a TV show but he's been brought up in a tight knit family with family values, and Hazel has been on his mind since they had that one night together. It's clear from early on how Tristan feels, the real question is can Hazel learn to trust him??
What a great start to this series. Book one/Saddle Up Clint loves his family and loves his Family Ranch. Due to his ex Girlfriend the ranch has lost a lot of money. When they are asked to be the setting for a reality show they reluctantly went with it. His Mother, Brothers and their younger sister have an amazing bond and I enjoyed Their banter. Ever is the producer of said realty show and has amazing chemistry with Clint. The family was very welcoming to Ever but can Clint get past his emotional baggage? Book two/Bucked off Buck love working on the Ranch and is ok with his family filming a reality show on said Ranch, but now they want to make him a lead story with a love interest. To avoid this Buck finds himself a fake finance! Penny loves what she does but doesn’t like who she works for. when Penny gets Bucks offer she figured it’s a temporary solution to her problem. We all know how that normally goes! This was a great quick read and was really cute! Book 3/Ridden Hard Tristan is working on the family ranch minding his own business when he get a visitor with a big surprise. Hazel had met Tristan and they had a great time and now she finds out they are going to have a baby. What do they do now? This story was extremely sweet and entertaining. I really enjoyed these 3 stories. I look Forward to reading more books in this series.
Kim Loraine writes really great cowboy romance! Well, she writes really well, period, but I have a soft spot for her cowboys. I hadn’t read these books until the collection came out, with is good and bad…as I was missing some great stories and hot Ryker men. But good because I got to binge Clint, Buck and Tristan’s stories in one book. The overriding theme in the first two books is the filming of a reality show on the Ryker Ranch. It brings not only an infusion of much needed money to the family ranch, but also our first two heroines…Ever and then later, Penny. We meet Hazel, in book three. While I loved each story, my favorite characters weren’t actually those who were paired with each other! I adored Buck the most, but brothers Clint and Tristan are nothing to sneeze at! While I got the most enjoyment from Ever and her journey to Clint, Hazel was my favorite female MC. I struggled a bit with Penny, though. And Tristan’s character experiences the most growth over the three books. I of course grabbed brother Sam’s book right away but haven’t started it yet. Mama Ryker and sister Sera round out this interesting and charismatic family. I loved their love for each other and the home they have built together. This series is one of Ms. Loraine’s best!
I've read these and also listened to the audiobooks. Such a fabulous series. Definitely something you don't want to miss!
SADDLE UP I loved this book. I mean, what's better than a sexy cowboy? Clint is doing his best to help keep the ranch running no matter what when along comes Ever with an offer he might not want to resist and boy does he resist. At first. He and Ever are like oil and water. He thinks he can scare her off, but doesn't have much luck.
Stella is still pretty new to me in the world of narrating. She was fantastic as Ever. All sass and I love it! Aaron was absolutely delicious as Clint. I mean hello cowboy!
BUCKED OFF I love swoony cowboys and Buck was no exception. Buck and Penny were a long time coming. They belonged together, it just took some time to figure out. Fantastic performances by Stella Hunter and Aaron Shedlock!
RIDDEN HARD I could not get enough of Tristan and Hazel. The moment she called him a Dreamboat, I was hooked and I could not put this one down! Stella and Aaron killed it again in this fabulous book!
The ryker ranch collection by Kim Loraine is the first 3 books of her ryker ranch series and consists of Saddle Up, Bucked Off and Ridden Hard. All 3 books are good from a dual POV. They can all be read as standalone’s but I preferred to read them all together as a series.
Saddle Up is Clint and Ever’s story and is an opposites attract, friends to lovers story. Bucked Off is Buck and Penny’s story and is a fake fiancée, fake relationship, enemies to lovers story. Ridden Hard is Tristan and Hazel’s story and is a surprise baby story.
I loved reading all the stories in this collection. All 3 stories are really well written and so descriptive you can imagine yourself being there. While each ryker brother is different they are all special and swoonworthy in their own ways and each of their girls are exactly what they need. I loved how hard the guys worked to win the girls over. There’s never a dull moment on the ranch especially with their mama around. I can’t wait to read the next stories in this amazing series.
I’ve read some of the stories later in this series - it was great to “catch up”!!
Saddle Up - In danger of losing the ranch, the Ryker family agrees to let a reality show film what it means to work a ranch. The female producer must work first - as a proof of concept. Sparks fly!!
Bucked Off - Buck is looking for any excuse not to become part of the reality show filming. He claims to have a fiance, now he needs to find her. His early crush Penny needs the funds, so a bargain is set. Past history, misunderstandings and a second chance make for a fabulous story.
Ridden Hard - Hazel’s marriage broke up basically due to her inability to conceive. A night spent in “forgetting”, results in pregnancy. When she finds out the father is famous from a reality show, she expects him to sign the papers giving up rights and walk away. Expect he is all in. Can she believe this is an actual opportunity?
All are emotional, romantic, and revolve around saving the ranch. Fabulous read!
*** I am voluntarily leaving my honest review of this book ***
The Ryker Ranch Collection by Kim Loraine is a boxset with three different stories!!
First is, Saddle Up, the story of Clint and Ever. He is dealing with some major financial issues with his ranch. He is approached by, Ever, the producer of a huge reality TV show. They want his ranch as their next site!! I was never a big proponent of cowboy romances….but, I may be a changed reader!!! I loved this story!!
Next is, Bucked Off, the story of Buck and Penny. The reality show continues its second season and Buck plans to wed!!! Once again, I was immersed in this story!! The writer has a way of drawing the reader in completely!!
Finally, there is, Ridden Hard, the story of Tristan and Hazel. He has a reputation and she wants to be something different. They have a night…and then meet up again later!! Another fabulous story that kept me glued to the words!!
I am volunteering to leave a review for an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I enjoyed the cowboy romance stories from Kim. They are a nice way to spend a few hours reading/listening to a sweet story. Love to see how she includes all of the side characters into the inter connected stories. They can be read as a standalone but I prefer to read them as a series. Hope you enjoy them also.
Saddle Up: This was a nice way to spend a few hours reading this wonderful story. All of her stories come alive from the first page until the end. Bonus the audio is with Aaron Shedlock.
Buked Off: I always enjoy reading stories by Kim Loraine. Fun cowboy series. Love to learn more about the side characters along the way.
Ridden Hard: I enjoyed this story. You can see when you read the story that Kim enjoys writing about cowboys. It has a natural easy flow to the story.
The Ryker Ranch Collection - Books 1-3 - Smoking hot sexy bucking rides
The Ryker Ranch Collection contains the first 3 books of this series - 1. Saddle Up (Clint Ryker and Ever) 2. Bucked Off (Buck Ryker and Penny Callahan) 3. Ridden Hard (Tristan Ryker and Hazel)
This series is all about the tall, built and sexy Ryker brothers, the family ranch and the women that end up being their match in all ways, even if they are complete opposites. Each of these books are well written, have an enjoyable story-line and great characters. There is an overarching story-line in the series but each book concentrates on one couple, who have amazing chemistry, and can be read as a standalone. I read each of these books when they were first released and enjoyed them a lot. This is a fun, flirty and sizzling hot series and you won't be disappointed by the Ryker siblings.
Ok, I started the Ryker Ranch series, and was interrupted by ALCs and ARCs, so it took me a while to finally finish. I'm so happy I met these beautiful men and their equally beautiful and feisty women. Clint, Buck, and Tristan were so effin swoony! Each story had such depth and meaning, but wasn't so heavy, and the humor between the Ryker family was so great. Mama is a sweetheart, and I just wanted to hug her all through this series.
Kim Loraine is a goddess, and I can't wait to make my way through all her cowboys!
Stella Hunter and Aaron Shedlock are perfect in their narration of these three books.
I discovered this series on book 3, so when the box set came out I jumped at the chance to get caught up. I enjoyed all 3 books, in fact, I read book 3 again and enjoyed it more the second time having the back story. I love that the couples are not forgotten about in subsequent books. You have mama in each book, the glue that holds this family together. And now I'm seeing there's a prequal that I'll have to read before the next installment is released
If your not into cowboys this series will convert you. It is well written, each book has a great story line and full of steamy chemistry.
Each book can be read as a standalone but are interconnected and soooooo much better when read together. Characters are from the same family and each set at same location.
I love Kim Loraine's characters, strong independent women and cowboys that fall hard and fast.
You will be drawn into the story line of this family. They are going to be a wild cowboy book to love. The author catches the essence of each member of this family and you will fall in love with them and the people who are the love of their life.If you love a great cowboy book this is a great read.Looking forward to reading more about them.An looking forward to reading more from this author!
Not sure what this book was trying to prove. I genuinely wanted to like it since it was a short little series and I could listen to it while doing house work but good lord 🤦♀️. I never actually developed an attachment to any of the characters, never really got into the plot of the story. This one was not memorable in the least!
One word, cowboys! This author does an amazing job writing about cowboys. You will be pulled in from the very beginning and won’t be able to put it down. This is a three book collection that you will fall in love with.
