After being forced by her mom to transfer to a new school and course, Eleanour Ignacio had long accepted that she would find it hard to survive in her new world. But things changed when she fell for campus crush, Siegfrid Van Allejo⎯ metaphorically and literally. Elie did everything she could just to make him fall for her but at the end of the day, all of her efforts always went to waste. Will her feelings be ever enough to make her fight for him until the end? Or will Elie be forced to embrace the reality that she will forever be stuck in the illusion of a happy ever after with Siegfrid?
why does she love writing about H fucking another woman and my girlie sees then cried her ass home i'm eating it up 🤣🤣 angst is 10/5 miscomunnication and unrequited trope a slay here but the ending dragged a bit so its 4.5 overall
I was excited to read this, knowing it features one of my most favorite tropes, unrequited love. Am I sick for loving that? But it's sooo good! And I love the pain of reading about someone desperately in love with another who doesn't quite see them, and I loved feeling the hurt and pain that comes from rejection. It all may sound weird, but it's a beautiful pain that always ends with love, forgiveness, redemption, and sometimes HEA.
I enjoyed the book until the moment where Elle jumped to conclusions, and instead of talking things out, she automatically assumed things and just left knowing that she was having his baby. And it happened a lot of times! I was totally not okay with that. So much heartache between them could have been avoided. But hey, it's fiction!
And from the moment they saw each other again after many years, everything went downhill! My goodness! Everything would be resolved if they just talked to each other! But of course, the author needs to prolong the agony and the frustration, lol. And when Siegrid didn't get what he wanted, he went and fuck someone else... inside the hospital. Like, what the heck?! He even let Elle see that. That's a BIG NO for me!
The three books I've read so far from the author frustrates the hell out of me! Like, seriously! But I'm moving on to the next book! See, I'm such a masochist!
