In 2006, he received the Kodansha Manga Award for shōnen for Air Gear. Apart from working with manga, he designed some of the alternate character outfits in the PlayStation 2 version of Namco's 3D fighting game Tekken 5, and a guest character in Soul Calibur IV named Ashlotte.
His pseudonym "Oh! great" is a play on words. His pen name, written in Japanese order, is "Ōgure Ito", which is pronounced similarly to and can be romanized the same as the Japanese rendering of the English words "Oh great," ōgurēto. Furthermore, "Oh" can mean "king" in Japanese, making it possible to read the name as "the great king".

In this volume I really liked how it began, what with Ikki fighting a B-class battle and it not just being a normal parts battle, but something deeper. We learn a bit more about Rika and her past with Sora, who I think is hilarious and awesome! Still pretty meh about her though but I get where she's coming from
From there I just start losing interest in the rest of it. Most of it is just Ikki and his friends goofing off and Agito going out at night. I am curious about what his intentions are (if they're as clear as they sound or if there's something else). Also, we do get a new character introduced at the end. I'm not too excited about who he is but I am excited about the battle that will happen since I'm sure this is the type that gets Agito excited

Also dieser Agito ist doch krank! xD Ich fand den Band sehr interessant, besonders weil Sora vorgestellt wurde und auch seine Vergangenheit zusammen mit Rika erläutert wurde. Ich liebe Vergangenheitsszenen! <3 Ansonsten war der Kampf zwischen Ikki und Rika auch toll und hat mich irgendwie berührt. Nun folgt also der Kampf zwischen Kurogarumasu und der Behemothgruppe, scheint vielversprechend zu werden ;) Frage mich nur, ob die "eigentlichte" Story bald mal zum Vorschein kommt ôo Battles sind ja gut und schön, aber bitte nicht nur "sinnlose" Kämpfe bis Band 23 XD'

La batalla con Rika estuvo genial y se ve que Behemot sera muy interesante.

The series got boring. I am curious to how it finish. Sadly my interest as faded.
