Ty stopped the danger to the kingdom but a new danger emerges.
While trying to understand his Tecal connection to the smoke dragon, Ty knows Lothinal have not abandoned their plans. Roson James has been stopped but not defeated, and now the Dragon Touched are compromised.
The key to protecting the kingdom is mastering his dragon connections, but the smoke dragon remains elusive and Ishantil is simply too powerful.
Finding understanding means chasing the Flame—and the possibility that he might be more than a Tecal. Ty must succeed or Lothinal will destroy not only the kingdom, but the power of the Flame itself.
It is painfully obvious that you dictated, instead of writing your novels. You need to read the dictation afterwards and correct the errors. Your editor could not have read this word for word as I have, or they didnt care about the craft. Dave Duncan, and David Eddings would roll over in their graves if they read this poor copy. Please, slow down and get your shit right for the final book in this series. The content is o.k. the characters are intriguing, it's just hard to read unedited material, and still give a glowing review. Jacob Peppers has a good editor, maybe they could help.
I've just started this book, and I really like the concept, but did anyone else notice the GLARING mistake at the beginning of the book??? In the last book Dorian lost all but his wind dragon which he used to summon the Tecal to him. This book starts off with Dorian only having the shadow dragon and not being able to communicate as swiftly with the Tecal. Ummmmm. This irritates me. Again with the repetitions. Stop padding and simplify the books.
Great addition to the story. Fast paced and reveling bits of the main characters powers. The title actually has little to do with the story. Just a minor bit of additional knowledge. ;)
The books run along a little slower than I like at times but the story is great. Like to see a new take on dragons and their uses. Sorry to see there is only one left.
This is a well written and has well developed characters. The story is catching and with the strong characters makes for a very enjoyable read. Great Reading Everyone!
