I always love getting a look into Kal’s mind. Getting to know how she is feeling and thinking about what is happening with her and Charlie. I especially love this one because we get to see Kal and Charlie together through Kal’s eyes.

Awwwwn this was sweet

Okay, my brain was doing some mad mathematics with Dorlon, Andren and Raine, then things got clearer and I was internally hollering with the discover. Lexa kept me on my toes uhhhhhh. And I'm loving it all. I feel sorry too, but I'm betting things will end well.

I enjoyed this short story from Kals perspective because it delved into the actual relationship and Kals more tender and caring side rather than just sex. I especially liked the interaction between Kal and Kaden.

4 stars. This was great and pretty cute. Kal’s point of view is always different and a unique look into the world around them. Kal taking care of Charlie was sweet and the ending was hot. Fun read.

CHARACTER & STORY IMPRESSIONS:
We get more of Andren in this story, who will always be my favorite among a cast of lovable characters. I love that Kal and Andren get a moment to solidify their friendship. It’s great to know Kal can trust Andren, and that Andren cares about Charlie as a friend, not someone she’s simply assigned to protect when Kal isn’t around.

I’m heartbroken to learn that the two people I wanted to get together the most isn’t going to happen, but I still love them and hope they find someone who wants them as much as Kal and Charlie want each other. I was hoping Raine and Dorlon would get together at some point, but Kal pretty much confirmed Dorlon only sees Raine as a friend, and Raine’s crush on Dorlon is disappearing. I hope they both find their soul mates.
