Hot. Hot. HOT.
You know how some ménage books are all about 2 of the guys being in control, while the last is more of a 3rd wheel, the play toy, if you will?
Well, this is so completely NOT that book.
I loved how their three-lationship developed, with lots of genuine feels, plus loads and loads and loads (pardon the innuendo) of steam.
Aside from a lot of humor, it was also a treat to see Mason gain confidence, Heart learn to trust, and Lucky show his tender, nurturing side.
But Mason and Heart's ex's? UGH!!!
Yes, this is a series about porn stars, but it's turned out to be so much more than that.
4.25 stars.

I was really looking forward to this book after really liking books 1&2, but this one was a bit of a let down.
I did not like the pacing at all. Some parts went on too long, other parts quickly glossed over.
I also had such a hard time sympathizing with Mason. I get that his ex was verbally abusive and really ruined his self-esteem, but I really don't think its fair to have your partners be your sole source of reassurance and self-confidence. He really needed to love himself first. I would be so exhausted having to reassure someone several times a day.
I did not like the pacing at all. Some parts went on too long, other parts quickly glossed over.

I’m always careful when it comes to m/m/m, but I really liked the premise of the 3rd instalment in this series.
There is a lot to like:
Heart who has been burnt and betrayed very badly by his previous boyfriend. A young man with a difficult past and a prison sentence to prove it.
Mason, the ultimate nerdy nerd, cute and genuine and forever blushing.
Lucky, who is strong and dependable and such a good person at heart, it made me heart all gooey.
I loved Heart’s lessons in ‘how to enjoy sex’ with Mason – and Mason’s eagerness to learn.
I loved Lucky’s warmth, protectiveness and his honest attraction to both men.
I loved Mason, bringing them all together by simply being himself.
However, the first half of the book is really slow. It takes up to 50% or so for all three MCs to actually meet. Obviously, they meet in twos before, but that’s when their three-way relationship starts to develop.
For me that was too late.
And from there it all develops swimmingly and with virtually no hick-ups. Which is nice but maybe not quite realistic. Not that I didn’t like these three together – they really are incredibly hot, and sweet in the best possible way. And they are all very inclusive of each other – nobody is left out.
I just can’t see how they would have no issues at all. How everything went so beautifully and easily to plan.
So I am a bit torn with my rating here.

Another great instalment in the Ballsy Boys series
I do love a good menage and this one took its time to build up with each of the three men needing their own unique approach to the complexities of a relationship with two others.
Each one brought something to the relationship that the others needed and it was a gradual build up of trust between Heart, Mason and Lucky before they finally took the step to solidify their threesome.
It's a sexy read, but not overtly so and it worked the better for it I think. The sex is emotional and connected with equal time given to developing each side of the triangle.
I'm still waiting to see if Pixie lands Bear and get the story behind Campy's new roommate and I'd not be adverse to finding out if doorman Greg and Lucky's brother Ranger get their HEAs too!

Fun 1st Half, So-so 2nd
I loved seeing how these guys would get together, but once they did, the story stalled for me.

How is a story about a porn star and his two partners...boring?
I read another review recently that said sometimes we review books based solely on our expectations of what we think should happen and not what actually does. Maybe that's what I'm doing here but being bored almost to tears during this book was not my idea of fun. Even if the story goes in a different direction than I thought it would, that's perfectly fine if executed well. IMO, this was not.
The last book, Tank, was go, go, go, full steam ahead and deliciously filthy. I did see some negative reviews regarding Tank and Rebel stating they were PWP and contained too much sex. It felt as if this was a response to that because there is hardly any sex in Heart. Why the story with a menage would be chosen to contain the smallest amount of steam baffles me. Instead, this is a slow burn with relatively high angst, a MC with severe social anxiety and deep-rooted insecurities, a MC that has issues with self-worth and trust issues, and a MC that helps the others with their problems but is otherwise forgettable.
We've gotten to know Heart and Mason pretty well over the series while Lucky was new, which probably influenced my indifference towards him. When the three of them (finally!) get together, the dynamic still felt off to me. Heart and Lucky treated Mason like he was an incompetent child the majority of the time. They do most things together but it still felt like someone was being left out. Heart and Mason understandably have some issues but were so melodramatic - no one will ever love me, the other two should date because I don't belong with them, they would be happier without me, I'm only good for sex, etc. I appreciate that each actually worked through their problems and didn't just did a dramatic 180, but it got to the point that I just wanted to smack both of them.
There were a couple of loose ends left and things included in the story that had no purpose. We've told how much of an ass Heart's new parole officer is but never introduced to him and it's never mentioned again. Lucky's brother, Ranger, is given quite a bit of on-page time talking about what's going on in his life and the problems he's having, but nothing comes of it. Was the purpose to motivate Lucky to get his shit together and pursue the other MCs, like a "life's short" kind of thing? There is something Lucky does for Heart to help him improve his life and get rid of his crazy ex but we're never given a resolution on what happened to the ex. Why did Lucky constantly harp about how he was too old for Heart (33 vs 22) when Mason was around the same age and yet that was never mentioned?
All the nicknames personally bug the hell out of me. Heart's is understandable but why must everyone call Lucky by his nickname instead of his given name, Jasper? Am I really supposed to believe that Mason went on four dates with the man and never asked for his real name? And as for the sex, there is only really one sex scene with all three of them at the end and probably three overall. In case it's not clear, click off this page and run far away if you're looking for a steamy read.

Add on top of that the mushy, cheesy last third of the book plus a lackluster, unsatisfying ending and, well, here we are. Maybe I'm judging it more harshly because I expected something entirely different, it's quite possible - regardless, I wouldn't read it again.

The first half of the story was so good! Mason is adorkable. 😍. Heart made my heart hurt. I had some reservations about Lucky. He seemed too rigid and uptight. But I loved how he treated Mason.
Unfortunately, the 2nd half of the story started going downhill for me. I didn't really know/remember this was an M/M/M romance. When the threesome dating started I got a little bored with the slow pacing. The makeout sessions between the three of them almost made me uncomfortable. I started to think that both Mason and Heart needed to start letting go of their issues because I was getting tired of the repetition.
For some strange reason the age gap didn't work for me in this story. Very unusual for me and it's only 10 or 11 years between Lucky and the other two. It felt a little "daddyish" to me.
This book needed a good editor and proofreader. Now I'm starting to sound like I didn't enjoy the story which is not true at all. I love this series and all the Ballsy Boys. I'm looking forward to more.

4 Stars! ❤️ Hot and steamy as can be expected from a story featuring a porn star in a threesome relationship. Loved how beautifully the relationship develops between the three and how trust develops too. 😍

This book was annoying me form the start, especially Lucky who was a judgmental jerk. I liked Mason and Heart was ok. They we’re all pretty bland to me and I just wasn’t invested in the story. loves K.M Nuehold usually doesn’t hold my interest and I’ve only been able to get through one of her books so I don’t know if I’ll be reading any more of her books. And she’s a good writer she just doesn’t work for me, I need a little bit more. It wasn’t bad it just wasn’t my cup of tea unfortunately. Also I would recommend this to anyone who likes ménage, which is always a hit or miss with me. I just think that in group of 3 someone’s left out and that happens to be the case in lot of the ones I read. Roe Horvat did an amazing job in the third one and so did Piper Scott and Virginia Kelly in Mate. I like it more when there is a couple and sometimes they mess around with another couple. Anyways it’s good books that other people will probably like.

I really like this series as a whole, as well as this writing duo. Their stories are just predictable enough to give me comfort, angsty enough without unnecessary drama, sweet enough without giving me high blood sugar.
This was also the case with Heart (mostly). There were parts that felt a bit dragged out that made me impatient to finish the book, but mostly I just enjoyed the ride.

This was very *ahem* BALLSY *ahem* 😊😊
By that, I mean, there were numerous(but well placed) sexy times of the scorching variety which was 10000% appreciated.
While I didn’t feel the 3 men were at the “declaration of love”stage yet, I felt the connection between them and totally believed they cared for each other and were in it for the long run. This sometimes is difficult to achieve with a ménage book & I was more than happy with the outcome.
P.S: I really need Pixie & Bear’s Book now!

Nachdem ich "Heart" und seine Männer in "Ranger" kennengelernt habe, wollte ich unbedingt mehr über die drei wissen.
Und ich muss sagen: Die Story und die Art wie sie erzählt wird, gefällt mir außerordentlich gut!
Heart, Mason und Lucky beschreiben das Geschehen abwechselnd aus der Ich-Perspektive, so dass man allen drei sehr nahe kommt. Heart und Mason, die beide noch relativ jung sind, machen im Lauf der Geschichte eine glaubwürdige Entwicklung durch, aber auch Lucky bleibt nicht der Alte. Zu lesen, wie die drei zusammenwachsen macht nicht nur Spaß, es ist auch berührend und teilweise ziemlich heiß!
Die expliziten Szenen passen richtig gut in die Handlung und sind immer mit viel Gefühl verbunden.
Fazit: Die Story hat mich überzeugt, deshalb 5 Sterne.
Man kann sie übrigens auch gut lesen und verstehen, ohne die anderen Bänder der Reihe "Ballys Boys" zu kennen.

Unlike Tank, I’m rounding down with this one. The first half of this book was hot, hot, hot. Lots of UST. The second half fizzled out for me a little bit. Which is odd because all of the, “action,” was in the second half. Something didn’t mesh for me when all the guys got together. Much like Neuhold’s, “Going Commando,” everything developed much to fast for me as far as love. There was also an almost daddy vibe with Lucky calling them his, “boys,” etc. It felt weird. That is not my cup of tea so I was meh on that part.
It also got strangely wordy. There lots of talking about things that didn’t matter. Example: I didn’t need two paragraphs about Lucky making granola. No matter how delicious granola is.
Still, this was worth reading. The first half was a total delight and I always like spending time with the group. It’s hard to top Brewer and Tank from book two. I had taken a break from the series after the first two books. I’ll read the next one right away but will be skipping the last one. See above paragraph for things that are not my cup of tea. 🤷🏻♀️

I didn't like Mason very much, but what I liked least was the way the other two acted towards him. At times, it felt like they were talking to a child or teenager rather than a grown man.
I also think the inclusion of all three MCs was over the top, as well as the near constant talking about the third party in front of them. "Look at our boy, isn't he cute?".
Also, the constant self-doubt in two of the three MCs got to be a little much in the long run.
Lastly, the story was borderline superficial, and while I got a feeling for each character individually, there actually wasn't too much focus on their emotional pairing other than sex and the inclusion I mentioned above.

Great book 3 for our boys.

La romance MMM ne m'a pas convaincue. Il y avait trop de longueurs, de clichés sur les protagonistes et j'ai trouvé la construction bancale. Même en ayant terminé le livre, je n'ai toujours pas vu comment les héros s'étaient attachés les uns aux autres. Le milieu des Ballsy Boys est presque oublié. Et puis, le début stagne énormément. Le trouple ne m'a pas semblé crédible. Tout va trop vite, tout est trop simple (puis tout stagne et ça traine, il y a un vrai déséquilibre). Beaucoup trop de facilité dans les sentiments. C'était même gênant parfois (les surnoms, les conversations, les réactions et le côté initiation de Mason, Mason). Le tome 2 avait été un coup de cœur, le tome 3 est une déception. Je lirais la suite car je trouve l'humour et le contexte sympa mais déçue de ce MMM. C'est devenu guimauve à la fin et j'ai cru que je n'allais jamais le terminer.

I was admittedly slightly worried going into this mainly because mmm isn’t usually my cup of tea and I had really enjoyed the little moments we got of Mason and Heart in the previous books and was looking forward to seeing how their relationship panned out but slightly put off at someone else being added into the mix.
I felt Mason and Heart had such good chemistry and I really enjoyed their friendship and when things got a little more heated between the two. Adding Lucky in, at first, I didn’t quite like because of the way it was played out BUT I ended up really adoring the three together. Lucky added a balance to the trio. Mason and Heart were both insecure about the same thing but in different forms and Lucky added this confidence in that helped both men. They all three helped one another in different aspects — they needed one another to heal in the different ways they needed to. ( Plus the steamy scenes between all three were whew. )
While I did feel like some things were overshadowed by having three and it wasn’t my normal kind of read — I really did enjoy this. By the end I was melting from the their chemistry meshing together and how they all three completed one another.
Plus we got to see some former couples and other characters stories pan out a tiny bit which is always a plus!
Four stars because I love this series, the writing and this trio added a beautiful addition to it!

I’m confused that Lucky kept saying he’s too old for Heart when Mason is the same age as Heart and that doesn’t seem to be a problem. But I really liked the 3 of them separately and together.

Alright. So I'll admit I'm probably not the craziest about this series. I ignored book 1. Liked book 2. And thought this one was ok, just really bloody slow. And not in an ultra-slow-sexy-burn kinda way. Sort of a so-slow-it's-a-bit-boring-but-still-sweet-and-slow kind of way.
But Mason was super cute and quirky. And I liked Heart and Lucky but seriously hated both of their names. Don't even get me started on Campy...not sure if I'm continuing this series yet.

Both authors have been hit and miss with me and this collaboration series is no exception. I didn’t love book 1. I loved book 2. This book is kind of in the middle of those. It can definitely be read as a standalone although keeping up with the side characters might get confusing. Lucky is introduced in this story and Mason and Heart’s history is well explained here so you don’t miss what happened in the last book. In fact, this book appears to have taken place the same time as Tank’s book. The writing in last book flowed better and it was hard to tell it was a collaboration; this book was more inconsistent in writing style. There were moments of greatness and moments of super cheesy, silly dialog.
I didn’t have specific problems with any of these 3 men but I didn’t really love them either. Mason and Heart both had insecurities and vulnerabilities to work though. I liked seeing them become stronger and working through those issues but the repetitive dialog of them not being good enough for the others and not understanding what the others saw in them got tiresome. It just went on too long…some of that should have cut out and the dangling plotlines should have been expanded upon – Heart’s ex and his case, Heart’s new jerk of a PO. The story was predictable, there wasn’t much angst and the story didn’t feel complete.
We met a new character – Ranger – that has the potential for a great story. I hope we get something similar to Tank’s story for that one. Pixie and Campy still need a story too. Hoping each of their stories are more on the hit side than the miss side.

I cannot stand Mase anymore! His inner monologue is exhausting. I am an extremely patient human being and usually a geek and a hunk are just what I need but. The CONSTANT reassurance is draining the joy out of reading.

The most fuzzy bunny porn stars ever seem to work at Ballsy Boys. In this book, you mix a fuzzy bunny porn star with a good hearted military/cop type and an adorkable innocent clutz and sweet hot feelz ensues.

Yup, I loved these guys .. Heart, Mason & Lucky. These guys all with insecurities and fears but so needing love. I really enjoyed their story and the camaraderie between the Ballsy guys. It was steamy and super hot !
