There are a couple of problems ~ he's older and lives in LA, she's younger and lives in Miami. They both agree to keep it casual for the week, so why can't either of them stop thinking about each other and the possibility of more?
These 2 were so good together that I forgot about their age gap and I didn't think it was forbidden. Some of the steaminess was a little repetitive, but still good nonetheless.
There was a nice little twist in there about Jo I didn't see coming.
#bffgoals for Jo and Monica. They were everything BFF's should be.
The epilogue was a nice surprise!
I love the relationship these brothers have and I will be ready and waiting to take a cold shower when Ford's book comes out.

Narration notes:
Kelsey did a great job as usual. Tim can whisper sweet nothings to me all night long in his regular voice...not so much in his female voice.

Back to real life after a vacation romance!

The Hero: Jenner - a billionaire and a lawyer, Jenner doesn’t want to settle down. He is a high profile lawyer and eligible bachelor in Los Angeles. He loves women but his work is the star in his life. He, his brothers, and friends go to Las Vegas for March Madness every year.
The Story: Jenner meets Jo in a sports bar and the attraction between them is hot from the start. Jenner is not only attracted to her body, but her mind as well. She knows sports and betting and impresses him. They take things to the next level within minutes and again within a few hours.
I listened to this in Audiobook format, which I got from Netgalley. The book was told in dual POV by dual narrators, which I love. It bothers me when romances are done with only one narrator. The narration was done by Tim Paige and Kelsey Navarro. Both did a fine job, I looked and they each have done narration for hundreds of books.
However, there was some things about the narration that got on my nerves a bit. Tim Paige has a cadence that I didn’t love and Kelsey Navarro sounds older than Jo who is in college. Though I didn’t hate the narration either. I read my review for book one from this series, which was fine by the same two narrators and I liked them much better for those characters.
Jenner and Jo had chemistry like crazy and this wasn’t your standard “meet in Vegas” romance. Though the two of them definitely treated it as a vacation. I enjoyed the fact that they each go home to their respective cities and can’t stop thinking about each other.

For Miss Mann, The Billionaire is considered mild and easy read. Miss Mann usually have this knack plot/ twist that smack you in the head.
The sex is off the chart hot.
Jenner and Jo certainly making that perfect Instagram able couple. With the double JJ as their nickname. The plot is secret identity. What started as one night stand in Las Vegas turned into a addicting sexual adventure.
Like I said, the sex is hot. The rest: the plot, the characters, the drama is mediocre.

The Billionaire is an age gap, forbidden romance with unexpected turns. The Billionaire is a mix of steamy romance with an interesting storyline. The Dalton brothers are back, and The Billionaire is a must read for fans of The Lawyer. Jo meets Jenner in Vegas, and they have instant chemistry. Jenner is a player that never wants to settle down, but will him and Jo be more than just a Vegas fling? Jenner is a hard working lawyer while Jo is a college student finishing up her senior year and looking for a job. Jo is a fun character that is strong willed with a great best friend. There is a new bakery with delicious sounding, unique desserts. I recommend The Billionaire to romance fans especially fans of age gap or forbidden romance.

AHHH!! Marni Mann just killed "The Billionaire" romance game!! Jenner Dalton is absolutely epic!! I laughed, cried, cursed up a storm and swooned with all the emotions. Jenner and his lady were so fiery and passionate. This story was emotional, angsty and beyond outstanding! Marni outdid herself with this Dalton brother!!!!
What can I say about Marni Mann and her stories that I haven't already said? The Billionaire was steamy AF. NO ONE CAN WRITE STEAM LIKE MARNI! She is for sure in her own lane as the passion between this couple came right of the pages! In addition, what I loved more than anything was the incredible writing and depth in this story. Marni's writing is addicting and compelling but in The Billionaire she readily shows the world she is next level! If you want a book that revolves around sex, physical appearance, and SEX then you may enjoy this book. I could NOT do it. I will not be finishing this series because every brother is only focused on SEX 😒😒😒.

REVIEW: 4.5 fun and flirty stars
"The desire to please her was a need I'd never felt before."
Ok...transparency and all: I met Jenner in The Lawyer and I was SO excited for his story after reading that one. I love nothing more than a player finding his woman. Ok, I do - but you know what I mean!!
I also *love* a good instant attraction - one of my favorite things to read as it hits home for me personally. Writing chemistry seems to be Mann's specialty because she gave Jenner and Jo some heat from the get-go. I really enjoyed their connection. It was palpable and literally jumped off the pages. I mean, I can understand the difference between a one night stand and instant chemistry but this one hit a little different for me. Magical? No. Fated? Definitely not. Destined? I do believe that explains it.
I honestly think one of my favorite aspects about this story was, as you can see by the synopsis, is that Jo was the pursuer in this little romp - and I LOVED JO!!! Straight talk, Jenner will have all my heart eyes and own my beating heart, but Jo was so much fun to "meet." She was infectious. I felt her smile, her heart, her fun and flirty side - it all made for a very FUN read. She really was the kind of heroine I love to experience. She made this book for me!!
And who doesn't love a good age gap romance?? I seriously giggle with excitement at those ones because the possibilities are smile inducing on the regular. But this one? It wasn't as scandalous as I thought it would turn out to be, but Mann did an amazing job showcasing their age difference. It was fun to watch these two grow together and loosen up with each other as an example. But I can't stress enough how this did not go how I thought it would and I think that's why I'm still smiling about it. I loved the real life drama Mann threw in there - with real world decisions and ramifications, and that is exactly what I love to see. It had to be worked out. There was no question and no other option. Period.
I clearly have nothing but praise as I keep saying "I love nothing more than/my favorite thing is....blah blah blah" because Marni Mann seriously meshed all these amazing aspects into this one love story and delivered me a smile worthy, heart sighing, recommendation worthy book.
So, here's my recommendation.
This book was the book I needed. Heavy enough to give me the emotions and the draw to keep reading, but light and happy, sexy and flirty enough to make me smile and crave the words. I swear, this is my FAVORITE (and spiciest) of her books in this series (shhh....yes, there are only two so far, but work with me here. And I'm well aware that FORD is coming and I may change my mind again. But shhh. That's a conversation for later.) For the record, my hands down favorite of hers was When Ashes Fall and I have to admit this one hit me entirely different, so I can appreciate the difference in emotions, but am well aware that she clearly has a knack for writing a story for me. Yep, ME. Kthxbye.

Marni Mann has outdone herself and proven, once again, why she is a queen of erotic romance. The Billionaire is a delectable age gap love story that successfully combines sweet and sizzling. And by sizzling, I mean this book should come with a complimentary fan and a Do Not Read in Public warning. Holy Hades!
Jenner and Jo meet in the cutest way, and while it’s definitely a case of lust at first sight, I really enjoyed their social foreplay. Their witty banter and subtle flirtations make what was meant to be a one night stand more gratifying.
The sex is off the charts—and there’s a lot of it—but it’s the characters’ journey that kept my eyes glued to the page until the wee hours of the morning. Jenner and Jo live on opposite coasts and are at completely different stages in their lives. Jo is close to graduating from college, and Jenner is a billionaire lawyer. On paper they don’t work, but somehow they click, and I found myself not caring about their age difference. It’s unbelievable that their differences didn’t matter more to those in Jenner’s social circle, though.
Jo’s intelligence, maturity, and lively personality deepen Jenner’s attraction to her. As for Jenner, he is effortlessly charming, and his romantic side made me swoon bigtime. I loved the camaraderie Jenner has with his brothers and Jo’s ride-or-die friendship with her best gal pal.
I saw the forbidden aspect coming, but it didn’t play out the way I expected, which was nice. The epilogue is a sweet surprise.

This is the first book that I am reading from author Marni Mann and OMG...wasn't I completely blown away by this story. Since the beginning the book pulls you straight away of the lives of the main characters. I was literally addicted.
I looved the main couple. Jenner was sexy as hell and Jo was beautiful. The sparks between them were so high and tense , that I had the feeling my Kindle will have flames coming form it 😁. The sexy times and the erotica were soo soo good.
At one point they did tried fighting their feelings, but we all know what happens when love is involved. It's inevitable.
And let me tell you, the epilogue... I did not expected that. It was a really damn good surprise 😱.

The Billionaire
is not just escapism at its best, but eroticism at its finest. Mann has offered her readers steaminess from the word go, and from here on in, it gets hotter and hotter. I thoroughly enjoyed the unpredictability of her two protagonists’ story, and what the author wanted me to believe and what eventually occurred left me in awe of her narrative skills.
To be honest, I had trouble connecting to Jenner, but once I got to know his traits, he slipped into my book boyfriend criteria with ease. I liked his business savvy, the rapport he has with his brothers, and his dirty talk—wow, naughty is an understatement! Cynical about love, he knows how to distract himself; of course, there are never strings attached.
“Jenner, you certainly know how to make a girl blush.”
Young Jo has all the must-have qualities I look for in my book heroines. It was easy to see that she’s clear-sighted, so doing what she did was for a better word, out of character and ladies, I was far from complaining! And my goodness, neither was she! That said, I thought it was a tad strange that I wanted to know more about Jenner’s background than hers. This detail felt lacking, but it didn’t stop me from turning the pages at lightning speed.
“I should punish you for taking so long to visit me.”
Say no more! Marni’s expertise when it comes to hot contemporary romp scenes is extraordinary. Jo and Jenner’s chemistry is so intense that the last thing I would recommend is reading the book in public! The pacing is fabulous, and although Jenner’s concern is the age difference, their easy banter was a pleasure to read. Of course, their story wouldn’t have been the same without other worrisome obstacles. At times, the urge to stamp on my ebook in frustration overwhelmed me. All I wanted was for Jenner to see what was in front of him and yield his stubbornness, which could very well be his happiness.
“I realize I have no right to know what’s happening in your life, but the disappointment that I didn’t know just hit me hard.”
I cannot put into words how much I liked the secondary characters; meeting up with familiar faces and new ones, listening to their advice and ooh boy, agreeing with them. And I don’t doubt that Mann is a foodie either! I have to say that saucy language mix abounds in every aspect of Jenner and Jo’s story.
“And for you, my dear boy, I’m going to give you a half-moon cookie…”
Mann never lets her readers off the hook. The jaw-dropper of a twist made me want to kick myself for not being able to see it. Both Jo and Jenner’s points of view was the cherry on the top, too. I wished for an ending that made me smile from ear to ear—sighing here because it's nothing less than mindblowing.
I’m not an avid erotic romance reader; however, I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed this standalone romance in The Dalton Brothers series. Simply bravo, Mann!

Just when I think I can’t be any more obsessed with this series than I already am I’m proven wrong. The level I’m at is sky high, Marni sure knows how to keep me wanting and needing more because the moment I started reading this book I didn’t want it to end.
From the second I started reading I knew I was going to be blown away. I was hooked from the first sentence and it only got better and better. From their first encounter, Jo and Jenner were electric. I could seriously feel the sparks they were giving, dear lord they were explosive. Their attraction was undeniable and their chemistry was just off-the-charts tantalizing. The steam *bites fist* was toe-curling, eyes rolling to the back of your head, lip-smacking ecstasy. I hardcore loved them and watching them get to know each other on a much more deeper level was beautiful. I expected the level of steam Marni dishes out, but I honestly didn’t expect to get emotional reading this book, but boy did I ever.
The Billionaire was an incredible addition to The Dalton Brothers series. Marni has once again outdone herself, honestly it just gets better and better. I’m so excited for Ford’s book and June can’t get here soon enough.
Get ready to get your socks knocked off because this book was *chef’s kiss*

I have to say this is probably the steamiest romance I've read in a good long while. These Dalton brothers have me under their spell. Jo was a refreshing, mature, sassy, sexually confident heroine and I loved how she handled the undeniable attraction between Jenner and herself. Jenner was committed to never being tied down, a wanderer, devastating lover and skilled negotiator. I am in awe of his talent in ALL areas. But even with their age gap, Jo handled him like a pro. What a sexy, addictive and thoroughly entertaining story. I raced through the book because these two set the pages on fire. The opposite of a slow burn...this one was unavoidable burning chemistry. Whew!

OH MY GOODNESS…this story took me on an emotional rollercoaster. The chemistry between Joanna and Jenner was OFF THE CHARTS. What starts off as a hot and steamy week in Vegas, something that was just supposed to last the week, turns into so much more. The naughty bad boy Jenner Dalton sees what he likes and gets a taste. Even his boss, Walter Spade, knowing what kind of guy Jenner is, asks him if he's going to take a woman in the bathroom and have sex with her. Jenner doesn’t because he's out with his boss, but if he wasn’t he clearly would have taken her in the bathroom.
That is why when he sees Joanna, he does exactly what he wants. Thankfully, he liked Joanna enough to take her to his room after meeting her. But after spending a HOT and HEAVY week together…can it be more? Jenner lives in California and Joanna is in Florida. Can’t get any further apart than that. I loved this story. The fire is there along with an awesome storyline. I didn’t want it to end…and when you read the epilogue, you are going to go OMG.

It's been a while since I've read a book so hot it scrambled my wiring. The Billionaire totally did that. Not only is the book super steamy and spicy, but it also has this powerful emotion element to it that holds its own.
Jenner and Jo set fire to the page. You can feel their chemistry the moment they meet and the intensity doesn't drop. I adored them both.
I also loved Jo and Monica's friendship. I don't know many authors who showcase strong female friendships, but love how well Marni does it. In that same vein, any mention of Brett or James from Marni's Signed or Dominick who got his own HEA in The Lawyer , make me very happy. She not only does female friendship well, but also brothers and male friendships as well.
I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the twists. You'd think reading as much romance as I do, or knowing contemporary erotic romance I'd be familiar with it all, but Marni totally caught me unawares, not once, but twice!

Jo and Jenner really had an exciting journey to get from point A to Z in their relationship. I enjoyed every second of it. Marni even threw in a twist and then another shocking revelation in the epilogue.
I cannot give this book enough stars!!!!

The Lawyer was so bad so I expected not to like this book but I did enjoy it. A bit Insta-lovey for my liking but there’s definitely a chemistry between them so who am I to judge? I also loved the personality of the FMC so that’s a plus.

I was so excited to be reunited with the sexy Dalton Brothers again and the story of Jenner did not disappoint!
I was immediately hooked into the story of Jenner and Jo and how the relationship between them developed so quickly because their chemistry was off the charts sexy.
When Jenner and Jo cross paths in Vegas the chemistry between them was instant and palpable. One night of passion turned into a week of lust, and fun.
When they go their separate ways, no promises are made, especially that Jenner does not do relationships, Jo is much younger than him and just finishing up college and they live in different cities on opposite sides of the country. When they do hook up on the odd occasion it becomes more difficult for them to hide the feelings that they are developing for each other.
I enjoyed the plot twist which I did not see coming and this added to the enjoyment of the book. I was so invested in their story that I did not want it to end.
This was such a hot, sexy read. Be warned, you will not be able to put it down once you begin this sensual journey of Jenner and Jo!
