The information is fascinating. The claims are authentically supernatural. The formatting could use some work. I don’t know if translating “xian” as “fairy” was the right move.

i remember sOmething about kitsune spirit being called a "fairy" b/c jason is either a terrible translator or really wants to bone an edo period kitsune and felt like writing a book about it w/ alchemy and witchcraft stuff about the foxes tossed in for good measure.

informative enOugh i guess based on the limited english research of kitsunes, although "kitsune" from 1961 or w/e is a much more scholarly and historic literary read.
