Volume 12 in the series.
We now follow Veight's life raising his daughter, Freide, as he juggles work and parenting, along with his wife Aira.
There are time jumps, as Freide grows up, as she not only inherits her mother's intelligence and wit, but her father's strength and vigour. However, like her father, it seems trouble seems to follow not too far behind.
Looking forward to the next volume!
