3.5 ⭐️ for the overall series. From a smut perspective, it delivers: there's some hot lace and silk exploration, plus steamy scenes featuring some less-than-ordinary locations and positions. But there are reasons it couldn't score any higher with me.

First off, this series is about the exact same couple split across four super short novellas. Each installment is totally episodic and fragmented—reading them individually makes zero sense, and even putting them together doesn't add up to a believable romance. So honestly, I don't even know what the point was of carving one single story into four pieces.

Second, if you don't stick it out all the way to the final sex scene, all the smut leading up to it is basically just edging. Sure, it's hot, and they mix up the positions, but the real deal is where it's actually at, right?

Also, the workplace plot is laughable and makes zero sense. Plus, Jake is a completely flat, one-dimensional character, and the book completely fails to show why Noah is supposed to be so special to him.

All in all, If you're into reading endless edging and alternative smut, binge all four novellas just for the dirty scenes—that's literally all it's good for.
