I’m going to make it a tradition to come back to this book every winter. It’s been 2 years.
I won’t ever forget the first time I read it. And honestly I had the same magical feeling this time reading it too.

Ugh this book is so good. I feel like a part of me died when I read the last sentence. This should be canon. It’s better than the original storyline anyway. I want to cry myself to sleep because there will never be a fanfic better than this one. Once again, saying I loved it just as much as the first time.

peak dracotok 2020 era, this book was perfect. i love how long it was and how much tension and slowburn this was. i love how this book took me through all the harry potter years again and how we got to see more of dracos side.

Wow. I’ve never read a book that has the time span this one has. From 3rd year all the way to 7th, we really got to watch Draco and y/n relationship truly develop. In love with the writing. Loved the original characters as well. All in all, would recommend.

This book is one of the best I’ve ever read and the best Draco fanfic (or fanfic in general) that I’ve ever come across. I usually don’t like long stories like this one but it is truly worth it. I read it before it was fully finished back in 2020 and came back to reread and finish it a few days ago. This book is so good I read it in 3 days and stayed up all night just to do so. The story line is perfection and the entire book is beautifully written. This is a 10000/10, this book will make you happy, giggle and kick your feet in the air, and still manage to make you cry and get angry too. This is my first (and favorite) recommendation to anyone looking for a good Draco fic.

I can’t even put into words how much this book fanfiction absorbed me. The whole time, I experienced it as if I were reading a completely new book saga, not a fanfiction set at Hogwarts and in the world of Harry Potter.
I really loved how I could be woven into the story myself, which made it even more enjoyable. After finishing it, I fell even more in love with Draco. I urgently need someone to explain this “Draco effect,” haha.
I enjoyed it from beginning to end (I immersed myself in the story so deeply that it was amazing to experience what it’s like to be at Hogwarts). Draco was a completely different personality, and it showed his wonderful side as well—one that isn’t portrayed as much in the books or films, yet it’s so easy to fall in love with.

The ending felt a bit too “quick” and didn’t excite me quite as much… but when Draco said the final word, “Always,” it left something in me. And it will probably stay there forever, which is why it still deserves a full number of stars (five, to be exact).
I’m glad I read it, and thanks to it, I feel more motivated to start reading again.
