Bound to the Fae: The Complete Series

Rate this book
I’m not afraid of dying; never have been. I’m afraid of dying before doing anything worthwhile.

The fae realm is full of violence and treachery, and now I have no choice but to trust these three humans that came stumbling into my life if we want to make it out alive. It might have been easier to let them die, but I just couldn’t have their blood on my hands too. Monsters are donning new faces, blurring the lines left and right, and it’s growing impossible to tell the difference between friend or foe. One thing I am sure of; the deadliest things are the ones that you underestimate.

Since I'm already the villain in their eyes, maybe it's time I actually played the part.

I'm used to the disdain, the insults and abuse. But people hunting me, aiming to slaughter me for a crime I didn't commit? Not so much. We can only hide in the human realm for so long thanks to my cursed lineage, and even that isn't the refuge it once was. But the queen has been stealing my energy all of these years for a reason, and something tells me that it has nothing to do with the changeling threat.

I’m not sure how to save anyone when we can barely save ourselves. But if Dorian, Atlas, and Lucien have taught me anything, it's that there's something far more dangerous than fae and humans combined.

Someone willing to sacrifice everything, simply out of spite.

**This is a darker themed fantasy romance where our heroine gets all of her men. It contains all three books in my Bound to the Fae series: Discord, Echo, and Rhapsody. As always, I include a potential trigger warning on the copyright page, and remember; things aren't always what they seem.**

This book does pull you in and keep you hooked the entire time I must admit. I love J Kearston's writing style and her stories always deliver for me. This series is a little different than the others that I read but it doesn't disappoint.

Cambria is a fae in the human world, she has a job and jumps realms as often as possible. She works in a nightclub as a singer but has a side-job of pickpocketing. Unfortunately, she steals from the wrong three guys one night and kicks into motion a series of events that will change their lives forever.

Throughout the series we see Cambria grow and adapt to the human realm. We see her come to terms with her pain and try to move on and embrace the love that she so desperately craves. The guys in the story (Lucian, Dominic, and Atlas) all have troubled pasts as well and they are also on a path of healing. Throughout the series, they form this new little family and watching them work out their dynamic whilst trying to save the fae realm really is entertaining.

This is a fast-paced book that has many twists and turns along the way. It was a fast and easy read and I found myself anticipating what might happen next. A very good series for RH fae fans,

This is an incredible series and you are so lucky to get it all at once in a boxset and not have to wait as each book was released!! The world building in fantastic and is so descriptive you feel as if you are actually there joining Cambria on her journey. It’s a well written series that takes all you know about the Fae and just tosses it away. The author draws you in and holds you captive the whole time, it’s dark but also fun, it’s has surprises and twists and turns and some steamy scenes and the characters are simply awesome!

Discord:
This is the first book I have read from J. Kearston and overall I enjoyed the book and the interesting characters. I enjoyed getting to know Cambria..she is spirited and fun but she appears so lonely when she is in her world, others do not trust her or treat her right. Then the guys come into her world..Lucien, Dorian and Atlas. They are all very different and bring some unique to the story...at times the guys annoyed me and to me appeared quite selfish but they grew on me as the book went on and their connection to Cambria gets deeper. The ending was a bit of a cliffhanger.

Echo:
This series just gets better and better! This book for more is more intense, more gritty, more steamy than book one. And holy cliffhanger what an ending...how can we wait for more after reading that?? It is tough reading those last few chapters but it is really setting the scene for book three. The second half of this book is action packed full of twists and turns that have you flicking the pages as quickly as you can. I cannot wait to read more from this very talented author.

Rhapsody:
J. Kearston, what a final book in the fantastic series! I have loved reading about Cambria, Lucien, Atlas and Dorian from the very beginning and have just become more and more invested in their story. This book kicks off right where book two finished and it is non stop action, drama, mystry, passion and death all the way through. Cambria has really come into her own in this book and she is shinning so much more than she did in book one. Atlas has to be the favourite though..he is tough, powerful and vulnerable, he loves deeply but doubts his connection and doubts his place in the team and with Cambria. I loved the ending of this series and know i will read it again and pick up things i missed in my first read. Highly recommended.

DISCORD:
I loved this. It was something different, an intriguing concept. The characters were all a little messed up in their own ways, but still interesting. How the men met Cambria was funny itself, and all three having to be bound to her was a great take on a fae story. There are as many fun moments as darker ones, and I found myself just drawn into this world. Really enjoyed this one.

ECHO:
This story was more intense than the first, with the group getting into more trouble both at home and in the fae world. We also learn more about each character's pasts, and their relationships with each other evolve further, though they still have work to do on themselves, individually. This ends on another cliffhanger - you'll need book 3 immediately after reading this one. Enjoyed this story!

RHAPSODY:
This, I am sorry to say, was my least favourite of the 3. I still enjoyed it, however. It was a bit of an emotional rollercoaster, as the group work to solve all of their problems in both worlds. They come up against many, but try to learn and adapt in order to get through it and come out the other side (relatively) unscathed. I have to come to really like these characters and spent this last book hoping they'd fight their demons and just get their happy ending together. A great series!

Epic fantasy box set 😊
I really like this story, it has intricately woven together different fables associated with Fae!
Cambria is bound to three human males, who all react entirely differently to this, it certainly creates some interesting situations 😬
Dorian is nerdy but shines in the Fae world, Atlas connects to the wild side and Lucien has a need to control everything…but you certainly fall for all their quirks and their clear connection to each other and Cambria!
It was great to see a different aspect of supernatural power in Cambrias music and what it’s intended for 👍🏻
Cambria really starts to shine with the support of Atlas, Dorian and Lucien 😍 she’s been entirely ousted and othered by her own people but they help her realise it stems from them and not her - a valuable lesson for all 😃
The story takes you through betrayals, kidnaps and soo many twists and turns…but it all starts to come together in the third and final book!
My first read of J Kearstons and I’d definitely read more 😊

What a tale

I’m not usually a complete series reader but someone said give it a go. I’m usually a read then reread it just before the next one comes out so it made a change not to have to wait but it did take forever to read lol. Not a bad thing I must add just takes time.
So
On to the main review I must admit I really enjoyed it Cambria is such a fun loving character she makes me smile with each turn of the page (or tap in this case)
But gosh does she have it hard. It appears nothing can go right for her despite her heritage or believed heritage at least. She lives day today between the realms then I’m not sure if it’s fortune or mis fortune to meet a bunch of guys that turn her world literally on its head.
Things go up and down continuously but the guys car about her but not all the issues are hers.
Your intrigued aren’t you. So graphic a copy however you read it’s totally worth it trust me I know I read all the time x

What a journey this boxset takes you on! I didn't expect so many twists and turns. Plus the heart and emotion that's gone into this story is grade-A writing. You'll want to dive into the boxset because you'll want to have no time in between the cliffs!

The world-building in this is such a different take on fae. I loved reading it as we slowly got to know more and more of the world and the creatures and people in it.

The FMC!
Cambria has been through a lot in her life. To see her growth over the story is something that you must read! It's poetic and deep. Her character arc is one of my favourite in recent memory

The Guys!
Dorian, Atlas, Lucian - three broken men that over the series find what it means to be a family.

The Smut!
This series is a grower with slow-burn elements that then explode with passion and love. Seriously hold on to something because you're in for a ride.

This is an incredible and thrilling series. I enjoyed each book in this series.

DISCORD
This is an incredible beginning to a new series! Captivating and engrossing read with distinct and unique characters. From the first page until the last, the Discord is entertaining with a fast pace. I am very excited for Echo.
ECHO
Captivating from the very first page this is an exciting and intense storyline. This has plenty of emotion and feeling. Beautifully written and kept me on the edge of my seat. The cliffhanger left me hanging and definitely left me wanting more.
RHAPSODY
This is an incredible conclusion to Cambria and her guy's story. i am loving the dynamics between them. Thrilling, gripping and engaging it was easy to get lost in this book. It is steamy, romantic, action packed, with amazing world building.

I absolutely loved having all three books in a collection. Cambria was quite the character and I loved her development throughout the series. I also loved that there was growth with her three alpha men. They have their own personality that bring a new depth and they all seem to work together. At the same time, the farther into the story you get to see more of each character's past and it shows you more why the characters react the way the do. The development with Cambria's men was interesting and you could see them each grow to love her and open up throughout the series. Then on the opposite spectrum, there is something different with Cambria and it is definitely noticed. We are kept on the edge of our seat and the killer cliff hangers between the books had me dying for more. Overall it was an incredible series to read!

From book the first book I've read from this author but it's a wonderful start for the RH books I love. I've read one book by this author prior to this one. This is about Cambria and she is a lot of things. One of them is a pickpocket and she was noticed and she leads three humans into the fae realm. This is her domain but it's dangerous and she has to trust the men, Lucian, Dorian and Atlas. I freaking love the style of writing as you get sucked into the story. I recommend this book! It's full of action and I feel bad for Cambria, Lucien, Dorian and Atlas since they get through so much. We get lots of cuddle time and built of the relationships. Some more backstory and twists and turns you didn't expect. Epic and a must read!

This is an exciting series with another unique spin on faerie and the fae society. Cambria, a fae living in the human realm, is working at a club where it is easy to find her victims, until one day she picks the wrong mark, and the guy decides to follow her. Through a portal. Now bound to three men, she has to survive both the human and the fae worlds, while hunted and in the center of the war between one of her men and his adversary.
The series is full of adventures, lots of sass, both hilarious and steamy scenes, and with great characters. I enjoyed the whole journey of the relationship in making, the development especially in Cambria until she really became herself and accepted her nature fully, and the entertaining story. Good read ;)

This trilogy is incredible! The main heroine Cambria is a fantastic FMC! She is strong, entertaining, and always doing something unexpected. Her men are just as interesting. Dorian, Lucien and Atlas follow her into the Fae Realm and it is shortly after they realize the connection between them all. Readers are thrust back into the action with the heroes time and time again. In book two we are in the midst of a getaway for the characters. After many more trials in book 3, Cambria and her mates must face them all together before they can safely be happy. There are many twists and turns throughout that will have readers and the characters guessing who they can really trust and what else is going to be thrown at them. This was such a great series and a wonderful ending!

Yowza.

I love boxsets. Give me a full series to binge any day and this one did not disappoint. Cambria is a fae who travels between earth and faerie but she made one large mistake. Don't let the humans catch you. When 3 sexy humans follow her through a ring, her life is drastically turned upside down when their lives are tied to hers.

Every step they take puts them two steps back and answers to their pasts begin to come to light, shaping them into badasses who have to save an entire species everyone was forced to forget. With constantly more questions than answers the four of them fight to make their futures perfect.

While the main ideas are ones we've heard before this meat to this story is so unique I kept me drawn in the entire time. I absolutely loved it.

I read this series once, and then I read it again. It’s a work of art at storytelling. She weaves a masterpiece of suspense. I never can predict what she is thinking. I try and think I have where she is going but then she twists the story in a direction that I didn’t expect. Her writing never ceases to amaze me! It’s fun, and live and laughter mixed with a take off epic storytelling proportions. She always has snarky female lead characters with highly supportive men. The relationships between them are always well thought out and well done. This is my favorite trilogy by J. Kearston. You should read it. It won’t disappoint.

And down the Rabbit hole we go again, J Kearston has a habbit of writing books that draw you in and hold your attention trough out,
This is a new spin on a Fae storey and i really liked it, Cambria is a pick Pocket and being a DJ allows her to easily find Marks. However the human guys she steals for m are not supposed to follow her home and they ae certainly not supposed to find out about the Fae realm.
Now she has 3 sexy mean bound to her and when she returns home she has to take them with her which puts them in danger
Lots of twists and turns, brilliantly written in a style that i love and totally enthralling!

A deep blue ocean for anyone who chooses to look closer

J. Kearston’s Discord brings some of the human fairy tales to life with her own twist in this start to a new reverse harem romance series. Echo brings a new level of crazy for the reader to decipher. Rhapsody creates epic battles on multiple fronts for the characters. Cambria is a free spirit on the surface, while each of the guys are damaged in their own way, they are all a deep blue ocean for anyone who chooses to look closer. I would love to see Cody and Rickon as part of the next series set in this wonderful fae world.

I read this book with my Kindle Unlimited subscription and I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

This is a great series. I loved reading this, so glad all these books are now in one boxset for easy reading.
Lucian, Dorian and Atlas have stumbled onto cambria and down the rabbit hole into her world, But this isn't wonderland and everything is not as it seems, Glamour is abundant and can they trust what is right in front of them.
Cambria is used to the glamour and putting on a face starts to feel her world crumble, even more than it already is, but sometimes you need the stone to crumble to release the gem inside.
These are great books.

3 guys follow a woman into a fairy ring...start of a joke right? Nope they follow her🤦🏻‍♀️. Cambria is then bound to these three human males, after entering the fairy ring. What Lucian, Dorian and Atlas have stumbled onto in Cambria's world will make you want to jump in and help. She's ostracized from her people and leaving her world for too long depletes her. So many twists and turns with kidnapping, betrayal and so much more. You get this all in a complete box set! No waiting for the next book!

I absolutely loved the storyline for this series. We have Cambria trying to survive in both the human world and Fae realm. Some guys decide to follow her and end up in the Fae realm and get bound to her. Lucian the strong silent sexy type. Dorian the comic book loving boy next door. Atlas the bad boy gone straight and they all love and adore Cambria with everything they have. We have twists and turns and monsters and evil Fae. Can Cambria and her guys survive it all. I highly recommend this series you won't be able to put down.

Excellent series with a fully developed urban fantasy world. Great world building and character development as you can expect from this author. Plenty of action and drama as well as steam and romance.
I loved the FMC who is a real minx. Her men are very engaging in their brokenness and the nerdy guy is a nice change from so many tough and cool heroes. He captured my heart right away. This box set is a great way to read the whole series without having to wait for each release. Definitely recommend.

This boxset is incredible! Plus you don't have to wait for the next book to be released which is even better! The world building is awesome, the characters are easy to love and the journey you get took on throughout this series will make you not want to put it down. A fantastic fantasy box set so full of twists and turns all pieced together nicely with a different take on the fae world. It makes for a really interesting tale where our FMC Cambria is basically shunned and spends a lot of time in the human realm. One night she messes up and is followed by three human men… chaos follows… and it’s absolutely brilliant. It’s a great opportunity to completely binge this boxset all in one go as this series will completely draw you in and won’t let you go until it’s finished.

Fab box set

This is a roller coaster of a story! Three friends, linked by tragedy in their past, find and follow a strange woman, who turns out to be a fae. The story follows the link between the 4 of them, and the people in both the human world and the fae world that wish them ill. The characters were great, and worked well together, and I loved learning their histories and that no one was quite what they thought. I'm glad I read this as a box set, so I didn't have to wait for the resolution of the cliffhangers!

I was pleasantly surprised by this series! There were so many unique aspects that made me really enjoy the series. I had many questions from the beginning and the ending was perfect. There's magic, a quirky FMC that's easy to root for, beautiful men, and a plot line that led me to bingeing the series in a little over a day! I really quite enjoyed this boxset and am excited to see what else this author will produce.

Captivating series with intriguing characters that I totally became immersed and is so well woven that I felt I was right there. Since this is the whole series there is no waiting to find out what happens in the cliffhanger endings in book 1 and 2 as you will have the next book in hand - one of the reasons I love box sets! An excellent adventure with twists and turns that I found to be highly entertaining and well worth reading.

What a wonderfully written series. Lucky for you, you get it all in one sitting-which is probable how you will read it!

Bound to the Fae box set bring a whole new world to light. We have a fabulously written female main character who is a joy to get to know. Then there are the amazing, and scrumptious, men we get ip close snd personal with.

The best part, is it is an ENTIRE series, at your fingertips!!!

I cannot even express how wonderful this series is, I really enjoyed the story building, the secrets, and the humor that spans the whole story. Obviously, I loved Cambria because she has a kick*** attitude and a dark and dry sense of humor. I also love that the guys have in-depth background stories and personalities that are all unique, it just makes the story even more engaging. I highly recommend picking up this series!
