A very short essay arguing for feminism as an anarchist practice, rather than a theory of anything. Not sure I agree with many of its claims - also it seems rather gender essentialist -, but it is interesting to read, considering it was written in 1974.
Feminism means rejecting all the terms we are offered to gain legitimacy as a respectable social movement and redefining our real interests as we meet them. /19
Interesting perspective, considering women to be practice-focused than theoritcally-focused in politics, principally concerned with the "maintenance of life".
"When our conversation is about people and problems it is pejoratively referred to as gossip; our work [..] is necessarily repetitive and home centered [so] when we ask for help with it is is called nagging. When we won't argue logically it is the source of great amusement and it never occurs to anyone to ask us if we wanted to pursue such competitive fancies in the first place."
