C.D. Gill is the award-winning author of The Freedom's Cry and Against All Odds series. As a midwestern transplant living in the south, she traded the wide-open spaces for more sunshine and warmth year-round. Her insatiable love for travel and exploring new places finds a home in her action-packed fiction where times get hard for the characters but they're never left without hope.
This is a book by a new author for me and although it's only a prequel and is quite short it was long enough for me to be able to say that I liked the author's writing style it definitely has potential. The characters too are well-drawn and believable. I'll definitely be looking for more work by this author.
Although the work is titled "Perfectly Designed," Gia's life is anything but that. For a prequel about the budding architect, the narrative has a great deal of action which makes me want to read the next book that is based on this.
