Rate this book
As an artistic device, ?negative space? refers to an artist?s rendering of a subject by relying on the space that surrounds the subject to provide shape and meaning. Of course, the term also refers to any topic that conjures feelings of unease and discomfort. Furthering the partnership begun with the publication of Guess Who? internationally acclaimed illustrator Noma Bar has compiled his newest collection of work, Negative Space.

Everytime you look at Noma Bar's design, you discover something new. It takes a great mind to see so many things in negative space, Noma's work is just awesome.
And it's a wonderful praise for simplicity

I was going to leave just space here, but that's maybe too predictable. I liked Bar's artwork. It gives me ideas for designing backgrounds and themes. Not much copy in this, just brief captions explaining the context of each piece. I wish there were more on Bar's design process...

The artist's way of approaching his work is unique. Every time I look at it, I feel like I am seeing it in a new way, a new angle, in a new light. I have only recently started really loving minimalist art...
