I reunited the God of Lust with his alter ego. And now, he’s mine forever. Or at least, until his mother finds out… In the meantime, she — read Mommy Dearest — has handed me a box and demanded I fill it with eternal beauty.
Of course, there’s a catch…
The only place to get this nebulous substance is from a sacred goddess — read grumpy old crone — who lives atop the highest mountain in… Yeah, you guessed it.
Tartarus.
That’s the tar pit place where only the tainted — read criminals — go.
Unfortunately, I’ve got to go there, too.
But I won’t be alone…
My perfect gentleman, Raef, has arrived — although, I really wish he’d left his delicate mortal soul safely at home.
My good friend, Gorgonita, is coming because you never know when you’ll need someone turned to stone.
Hopefully, the right someone!
And my “prettiest kittiest” chameleon moth, PK, will not be left behind.
You’d think I had enough to worry about with these three tagging along, but…
My Underworld god, Grey, is stuck in the Overworld until he settles his contract with Dorian — read idiot.
And my lusty love god, Aroz, went to meet his mother and hasn’t been seen since.
I’m seriously going to need a facial when this adventure is over.
Unless I sneak a quick peek into that box of beauty…
Or maybe not.
The Box is the fourth installment of Hazel's Storm’s completed Her Three Immortals series. A paranormal romance saga readers call “steamy, complex and addicting.”
If you love crazy-hair-day heroines with a lot of heart, sexy-as-sin gods with a lot of heat and a few mythical creatures thrown into the mix, look no further…
** contains sexual situations (a female lead with multiple male lovers between whom she won’t have to choose), explicit language, a cliffhanger and a guaranteed end-of-series HEA.
Oh my! So......I have read this series as a whole annnnddd let me say that I really, realllyyy love this series oh so much! It was addictive, highly kind of actually. As with all in this series. I enjoyed every minute spent reading. Sad that it ended. I loved Vanessa's trials and accomplishments and just her story in general. She is my fave character aside from her steamy gods LOL...... ALL characters, gods included were nothing short of amazing, EVEN the dreadful monster in laws ha!! The storyline was very entertaining. Added bonus this book, well this whole SERIES packs its fair share of drama, spice, steam, romance, and oh the Greek mythology, why I love this series! 😍Really looking forward to reading more of the author's work too ;)
This is the fourth book in this series and definitely not a standalone. Be sure to read the previous books to get caught up on the events that led up to this finale. As with the previous books, I loved the world building and the unique characters. A couple of new types of characters are introduced in this book and I loved the way they were worked into the story. Of course, there are old favorites like Gorgonita and PK as well. You ‘ll definitely be hooked as you read about Vanessa’s final harrowing adventure! Great ending to a fabulous paranormal romance series!
Vanessa has to steal eternal beauty fro Alfie, but she has to go to Tartarus to get it. I got this book and later realized it is the fourth book in the series. I'm obsesses and now need the first three books.
I have been hooked on Hazel Storm's books since the beginning. Following Vanessa and her gods has always been thrilling, and the romance has been captivating. I was so sad for this series to end, but this book couldn't have done it better justice. I am eagerly awaiting anything else Hazel writes so I can devour more of her writing. Perfection personified, and steamy enough for any suburban housewife.
I have been a loyal fan of this series, since the first novel. With that I have followed Vanessa and her friends, through many adventures, sexy moments, drama filled scenes, and well anything you can think of! I really grew with all of them to who they would be! I was sad to see this amazing series wrap up and come to an end, but the way it ended literally blew my expectations. This was concluded, well, just perfectly!
I know in the previous books there was a lot going on, and there was a lot of moments I had actually thought to myself, how will this end with this not leaving a million questions for myself. I was way wrong. Honestly this one flowed like a river so perfectly. Everyone got their ending I would say, even Vanessa the girl who really started it all! Vanessa is pushed past her limits in this one, I always found her very admirable, but this test took literally all she had with in he, it involved her, a box, her lovers, and well their mothers. I did not expect the ordeal to be what it was, I was amazed and how things went through I was shocked at times as well. It all leads to the conclusion though which blew my mind!
This book was literally packed with emotions and feelings as I read through. I had grown to love Vanessa, Grey, Aroz, and Raef! All were different and specials, but they are what made the series so darn good. It was their differences that shined but all were all connected whether they liked it or not! The book gave a whole lot! I was more than impressed and full of emotion. As we gather towards the conclusion and well a ending that can send shivers down your spine, it was just the way it was always meant to! I loved this book so much, the ending made this book as well as this series. I could not ask for a better ending, and everything I had concerns or questions how to sum something up, well it was! I was left just with a happy brain and heart and felt completely content upon reading! Amazing ending to a series!
I am sad to say good bye to my beloved friends and characters (for now as I will for sure be rereading this series over) I know that their stories all came to a close, and everything need the way it should be and well was always meant to me These characters made the series come to life so darn well, I enjoyed my moments with them, really them all! I am so happy I was able to come across this series, as it rocked my world, with Gods and all haha! I highly do recommend you reading this book as well as the series, and do read it in order, defiantly helps with the back story and what happened previously. I do say this is a must read for anyone, and a super high recommendation from me to you! Do not pass up this fantastic series!
This was a bit of a bittersweet read for me knowing that this was the last instalment in in the series, but also desperately wanting to find out what happens. I absolutely adore this series- it has made it onto my list of all-time favourite reads! I really wasn’t ready to say goodbye to these characters or the ‘world’ that this incredibly talented author has created…. So, imagine my excitement when I got to the end of the book and found that there are more books planned, to come, that will be set in The Three Immortals Universe- I literally squealed at my kindle when read those words. Sooooo excited!!!!!! CAN. NOT. WAIT!!!! The Box is the highly anticipated fourth instalment in the incredibly addictive ‘Her Three Immortals’ series by Hazel Storm. This is the climatic conclusion to Vanessa, Grey, Raef, and Aroz’s story that we started back in Book One. This was everything I could have hoped for and more!!! The story had me firmly in its spell as I devoured every word- it’s so incredibly good!! Like I said, I am beyond excited to find there are more stories to come from this universe- happy happy happy dance!!! The Box continues from where we left off at the end of Book #3- so if you haven’t read the other three books yet, I highly recommend that you do so before starting on this story, as they contain important details which you should know in order to fully appreciate this book and the series as a whole. Again, as with the other three books, this is a brilliant paranormal romance- a delicious RH story that sizzles right off the pages. This fantasy is full of adventure, action, suspense, agendas, plots, wonderful world building, magic, drama, danger, Gods/Goddesses, mythology, fate/destiny, trust, emotion, prophecy, and so much more. In this instalment, Vanessa’s new task is to fill a small golden box with ‘eternal beauty’ and return it to the icy goddess- easy peasy, right? Well, not so much. To complete her task, Vanessa will need to get to Tartarus, the hottest, nastiest part of the underworld- climb to the highest peak, and then persuade the old goddess who lives there to fill the box with eternal beauty. And so, the adventure begins. But there are those who don’t want her to succeed- throwing obstacles and danger in her path—adding to the intensity and suspense of this already exciting story. If you love fantasy and paranormal romance, Greek mythology, adventure, and plenty of sizzle- then I suggest you snap up this book/series to explore for yourself- trust me, you won’t be disappointed!
Vanessa Maan is back and is still surrounded by both mortals and Immortals, more of the latter mainly and some of whom she wishes she wasn't around, but after she wakes up with her gentleman Raef in a sumptuous bed, she prepares for the day in more ways than one. Unexpectedly though, she finds herself hungry, which is unusual for a dead person, however being away from the Underworld can apparently do that to you, so after she eats breakfast with Raef, Grey and the newly reunited Gods Aroz and Antaroz, she goes to pick up the object she needs to return to the Underworld, but it looks different and before she knows it, she is being whisked away again!
When she arrived at her destination, she can't believe her eyes, it is the hairdressers she used to work at, however this one is made of ice and as soon as she enters it and comes face to face with a other Goddess she has annoyed, she knows that another task is probably coming her way. She isn't wrong and this time it is the Aroz's mother and it turns out that this Goddess wants some eternal beauty and is sending Vanessa to collect some in a specially made golden box, but the kicker is that she has to go to Tartatus to get it, yes Tartatus, the place where monsters of all kinds go to die.
Next thing Vanessa knows is that she is in the ferryman's lift and off back to the Underworld and without her men to keep her company, all the while they have been trying to figure out where Vanessa is and what she might be doing, Grey has an idea and takes Raef to the human Realm whole Aroz decided to go and see his mother.
Grey finds that he cannot leave the mortal realm thanks to a contract which he has to see to completion, so that leaves Raef to find a way of getting to Vanessa himself, but a friend helps him to get to her. Vanessa meanwhile is getting some friendly and not so friendly advice of how to get to the tallest mountain in Tartatus and see an old crone about some eternal beauty and once the party of Gorgonita, PK the prettiest kittiest Underworld Moth and Raef, now he has convinced Vanessa to let him come along despite the danger are ready, they set off on this next adventure.
Will their mortal souls be in more danger than ever crossing Tartatus and will they fail at the first hurdle, or will Grey and Aroz be able to come to their aid in time? This is a fantasy romance with action, annoying goddesses and sexy Immortals galore as this adventure flies across the realms in this gripping series finale.
The Box: A Greek Myth Paranormal Romance (Her Three Immortals #4) by Hazel Storm
This isn't the first book by the author that I've read. Each of the Her Three Immortals books keep getting better. The Box is about all of them and is an amazing book. The author knows how to keep the readers interested.
Vanessa is sent from her Gods and is now in front of Aroz's mother. As Vanessa puts it, The Ice Witch (change w to b) sent her on another task after destroying the vial. Now Vanessa's got to appease both the Ice Witch and Grey's mother. The quote I chose for Vanessa is: “If I’d been thinking…Ugh. It’s not like I didn’t know he was alive and that Gorgonita turned living beings into stone. I just got used to not having to worry about it in the Underworld, and…Poof! Raef appears, alive and well, until I introduced them.”
Grey is worried about Vanessa when she disappears from him and his brothers. He then says that he'll talk to his mother while Aroz talks to his mother. Grey is stuck in the Other world until Dorian completes his end of the bargin. The quote I chose for Grey is: “Dorian. Forget it. You have twelve hours to find your last tainted soul. And remember, they must be willing. I will not sign a contract with anyone who has been coerced. I’m going to get some rest, assuming your mother will let me back into her house. Call me the moment you’ve found your final candidate.”
Raef is tired of being mortal while his brothers are immortal. He tries to off himself once he knows that Vanessa has been sent on another mission. The quote I chose for Raef is: “Disaster averted. Vanessa, please don’t blame yourself. I knew coming here wouldn’t be a garden of roses. At least looking at Gorgonita didn’t turn me all the way to stone, so I’ve plenty to be thankful for.”
Aroz goes to talk to his mother only to be trapped. He is trying to get out of the cage so he can help Vanessa. His mother doesn't know that he and Bow are now one. The quote I chose for Aroz is: “You are my lioness, mia bella. But I will get myself out of this mess. Worry about your task and keeping yourself and Raef safe, and let me worry about escaping my mother. I promise I’ll come and help you as soon as I’m able.”
What can I say? I love this series every single book and I’m so sad to see it end! Trust me I plan on reading it again! This series also inspired me to look into other fantasy/romance series that tie into Greek/Roman mythology. The Box was the perfect end to the Her Three Immortals Series! I’m still partial to Grey and I always will be but Raef and Aroz have stolen my heart as well, which is another reason I want to go back and start at the beginning. To view those two characters through different eyes that aren’t fixated on Grey. It blows my mind what the author did across four books, everything that happened in such a short period of time was incredible. The Box has us coming full circle sending Vanessa full circle on a mission given to her by none other than her arch enemy from book one, Alfia, Goddess of Beauty. It just so happens to be the final task that will have her fulfilling the prophecy which will make her immortal. There’s just one problem: not only is this task in the Underworld but it involves a trip to Tartarus to fill a box with beauty from the highest mountain. I was so excited to read The Box, and it ended perfectly. Now I’m just sad that it’s over. Oh well, time to start over again tomorrow, in saying that. Yes you really should read all of the books in order because you may get confused. It’s also the best way to enjoy this author’s work of art. Because isn’t that what writing is, it’s a form of art, that the reader never knew they needed in their life!
With this being the last book of this series, I have so many mixed emotions. The storyline has been amazing from start to finish and I am so glad that I had the opportunity to read every word. Each book is a perfect continuation from the last. There is nothing that remains unknown while the stories are going on and it is fascinating to read the scenes happening from each person's perspective. In this final installment, we are able to see Vanessa's final test and what will happen should she complete it. Once again, there are mothers at play attempting to stand in the way of divine true love for the most selfish of reasons. There is drama from the first page until the very end and it will keep you on the edge of your seat! Raef deals with his mother - as do the others - and they all come to realize that the truth of their abilities and capabilities far surpasses the "truths" that they have known for as long as they can remember. We finally see what will become of Dorian's deal with the Underworld God. So much happens in this final story. The author truly wrapped most everything up in a beautiful way and left me craving more of the story in the future. While there are no real cliffhangers, I long to see what becomes of the information that we are left with and the characters as they go through their new normal. I am also left wondering what will become of Gorgonita and what the final interaction that we see truly means. If you have yet to read this series, start with book one and don't stop until you finish it all! You will not regret it.
I enjoyed the series as I was reading it but looking back there were several things that bothered me that made me take away 1 1/2 stars. The gods mothers are absolutely horrible to Vanessa (and to their sons). I got so sick of hearing the gods excuse their mothers behavior because she's their mom. I personally would not have been upset if all three mothers got sent to Tartarus. I don't think their punishments were nearly enough.
The other thing that bothered me is how easily everything always got resolved. The characters would run into a sticky situation and then it would resolve itself in a few pages. There was really no suspense. I kept reading because I've had this series on my TBR list for awhile and I promised myself I'd start ticking books off the list. If not for that I probably wouldn't have kept reading.
The third thing that bugged me was the Steamy scenes. Which just weren't. Steamy that is. Just like all the other character problems they were over and done with way to quick with very few details.
Bottom line, I'd recommend this series as a quick(ish), kind of mindless read. If you're looking for a deep plot with lots of character development and worldbuilding, look elsewhere. But if you want a read where you aren't worried that everyone will get their HEA, then this is a good choice. It wasn't what I was craving but the writing was good (no major typos) and the gods were interesting so I'll give the while series 4 stars and 3 1/2 for this final book.
So, I have been stalking this book for a while, anxiously awaiting its release as I was already enthralled by this series. It breaks my heart a little that this is the conclusion, but I was secretly happy to hear more books may be on the horizon. I absolutely love this author as a storyteller and the way she builds up this whole storyline has been amazing. This series only makes sense if you start from book one so you can truly understand the characters and why they do what they do.
After putting Aroz and Bow back into a single entity everything seems to be falling into place for Vanessa. She is at peace with her three sexy gods and is fulfilling the prophecy as it was written for Psyche. That is until the Goddess of beauty, Aroz’s mother pulls Vanessa into another task for her. She must fill a box with eternal beauty which sounds like it should be easy. Until she finds out that she must go to the highest mountain in Tartarus, to collect it from a very old, grumpy Goddess. Nothing ever goes according to plan because other deities have ulterior motives and only want to see Vanessa fail. Vanessa reconnects with Raef, Gorgonita, and her underworld moth PK whom all are willing to go with her to help accomplish her task. With Grey stuck in the upperworld waiting to fulfill a contract can they succeed even with so many odds stacked against them? This is a must-read series that will have you hooked from the very first page!
I am sure I am not the only one that isn’t ready to say goodbye to Raef, Aroz, Grey, and Vanessa, and certainly not Pretty Kitty, and Gorgonita. These novels not only have transported me to another realm, or two, or three, but they’ve also allowed me to live a very sexually healthy life vicariously through these Immortals. From page one, the author really allows for the reader to become engulfed in the story as it unfolds, holding their breath, and hoping for certain outcomes. Vanessa is the ultimate heroine, and she deserves all that she is bestowed, we all need a little Vanessa to get us through the tough times, I think!
I really couldn’t tell you which of these are my favorite, as they are all very high on my ‘to be read again’ list. I did thoroughly enjoy getting to visit Tartarus, and finally meeting Typhon, certainly gave the novel a different spin on how the characters fare in dire situations. For a finale in a series, I do have to say this wrapped up all potential loose ends very, very well, and didn’t leave much to be desired. I have my fingers, toes, and everything else crossed that eventually, a spin off from this series comes to pass. The fights, the love, passion, and all other emotions brought out by this series are going to be missed. If you haven’t read the first three, get to it, and I guarantee, you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend!
This series just keeps getting better and better! Way to go out with a bang!
This is book 4 in the series and all books have lead up to this one (ah hem, that means it cannot be read as a stand alone, you HAVE to have read the others for it to all make sense!).
We of course get Vanessa having to meet the obstacles set in front of her by having to complete yet another challenge that one of the mothers of her three immortal men put her on (man am I sick and tired of those B’s.), but along the way Vanessa builds on her strength and courage, and has each of her men fighting their own battles (internal and maternal) to get to her and to help her. We see more of PK and Gorgonita, as well as Vanessa’s grandpa here, and I am ALL FOR IT. I absolutely adore Vanessa’s support system and love how they’re there for her however they can be. Note: poor Piper, just wanting his sister back.
Many comical aspects in this one to bring some levity, but the obstacles are serious. And oh, the sexual tension and smut scenes are oh so good. Loved that we get some multiple scenes as well as individual scenes (I mean this is a reverse harem, or why choose series after all).
I could go on and on about my enjoyment of this book, and the series overall, but really, just READ IT. It’s funny and quirky, with a Greek myth retelling base, why choose romance, and it’s just so good.
This is the 4th book in the series and it is just as full of adventure and steamy romance as the previous 3 books. I would highly recommend reading the previous books in order as this builds the story and shows you how the characters are linked. With this being the last in this series it answers a lot of questions that appear during the other books. It is full of twists and turns that mean you won't be able to put it down.
Vanessa and her 3 gods are back. Vanessa is now set on a different path to get a box of beauty from the underworld. This mission is just as dangerous as the others and Vanessa must do it on her own as her gods have the deal with their mothers.
Each of the gods have problems with their mothers and now its time for them to finally sort it out once and for all but what consequences will that have? Not only for them but for Vanessa?
Meanwhile the connection and bond between Vanessa and her 3 gods grows stronger all the time and gets more intense as they all progress through this story together. If you like hunky gods, action packed adventure and steamy romance then this series is definately a good read.
I'm so glad that Gargonita and Pretty Kitty are in the final installment of this series. If you haven't read the first three, run don't walk to get them! Each one is just as amazing as the one before it and it gives you all of the background that you need to really immerse yourself in this amazing book. Vanessa faces what is to be her toughest test ever and there are so many jealous mothers conspiring to see that she fails. She's separated from her three loves and really has to draw on all of her inner strength to pull through this. Poor Aroz has been through so much already, seeing him suffering yet again was heartbreaking. All three men have to face off against their evil mothers and find a way to prevail against them once and for all. I was cheering for the guys for standing up to them and cheering for Vanessa as she fully came into who she was always meant to be. The ending is the most perfect ending I could have ever hoped for and it pulled the whole series together absolutely perfectly! This is definitely a book not to be missed, and a series that I will enjoy reading again and again in the future because it is just that amazing!
An epic finale to the series. This book picks up exactly where the last one left off. Vanessa has her 3 men and she is evolving into her true self. However, things are never easy when it comes to her life. She is once again sent on a whirlwind quest on the behalf of one of her Monster-in-laws. This time her adventure takes her to Tartarus, but with the help of her closest friends she will face this trial like all of her others. With sass, kindness and bravery.
I loved this entire series but I think this book was my favorite by far. I've thought that of each one, but I really mean it this time! We get to see Vanessa grow into her destiny and become the woman she was always meant to be.
This series had beauitful world building with the Underworld and Overworld, and brilliant characters that steal your heart. Vanessa is pure and beautiful inside and out. Her three men are all unique and strong in their own ways. Gorgontia is an overlooked "monster" but so loyal and caring. And PK, well she is just the sweetest and prettiest kittiest!
This is a must read series for all of you romance fantasy fans! **P.S. this is a spicy RH series**
The Box: A Greek Myth Paranormal Romance (Her Three Immortals Book 4) By Hazel Storm 5 stars
I have been waiting for this book ever since I finished book 3 in this series and the author did not disappoint! It was such an amazing read; I was hooked from beginning to end. It was. A brilliant finale to this series – it tied up all the loose ends within the series and everything was just finished off perfectly. Over the series I have really grown to love the characters, their uniqueness made the stories so interesting to read and I loved how they all added something to the story in their own way. Vanessa has been a great character to read about, I really liked her. She had a great connection with her three god’s and I loved how they all connected together. The author kept my interests across the whole series and her writing was so imaginative and creative – all of the books have been an absolute pleasure to red. There were some surprising twists and turns especially in this last book, really kept my excitement levels up that’s for sure! Overall, a fantastic ending to this series – a series as a whole I would highly recommend.
Is the fourth book in this addictive series and each book gets better and better. This series is different and original from other paranormal books out there. Make sure you read them in order as they follow on from each other, you will love them, promise. This wonderful mythological paranormal romance is full of non-stop action and adventure, mystery and suspense, passion and the chemistry is sexy and sizzling. The world building is only limited by your imagination, the author gives us everything needed to clearly envision her narrative. It is engrossing and interesting, and one that you do not want to put down and when it is finished you want more. I love the characters (well mostly) and I love that Vanessa is strong, resilient and full of sass and has those sexy smexy men who will do anything for her. If you love paranormal romances, original and unique stories, magic and mythology, prophecies and destinies then grab this series and dig in. This author is a must on anyone’s TBR and fav author lists.
This book was so much fun to read. So much adventure in Tartarus, you know, the Underworld. The story is the final book in the series, book 4, and must be read in order. This series is worth reading. I love that the heroine, Vanessa, is strong and that she stays true throughout the series. I love the way she loves her men...gods. I love how she can handle everything the mothers throw her way. I love how she figures out she is strong enough when needed but still able to lean on the ones she loves.
The extra characters of Gorgonita and PK were fun to read about. Being able to assist Vanessa in her adventure to fill the box makes these characters even more lovable. Reading about each god and his ability and connection with Vanessa was hot and not safe for work. The ending to this story certainly gave closure for neighbor Dorian, Vanessa’s family and her soul.
Definitely recommend this book and series. Looking forward to seeing what else this author writes.
This is the final book in the series and all the loose ends all get tied up nicely for the reader. Vanessa is forced to do yet another task for a goddess, this time Aroz’s mother. It just seems that Vanessa can’t catch a break from her lovers’ narcissistic mothers who each are self serving to a fault. This time the goddess of beauty wants her to go in search of the box of beauty.
This book takes Vanessa and all three of her immortal lovers on quests that helps each of them learn more about themselves and each other. Despite the turmoil, Vanessa is able to bond closer to all of her immortals and come into her own. And, as always this author has a great knack of keeping the reader entertained with new twists and plots at every turn.
I would love to see another series spin off from this one. I feel like there is so much more that this author could give us and more immortals we could meet.
5 Stars THE BOX (HER THREE IMMORTALS BOOK 4) by HAZEL STORM
The Box is the fourth book in the Her Three Immortals series and I absolutely loved it. This is a Paranormal Romance that will pull you in from the beginning and doesn’t let go till the end. I’m a huge fan of this author and this series and I highly recommend reading the first three books if you haven’t already. This is a fast paced story that will have you turning the pages to see what happens next. This authors style of writing and attention to detail along with amazing characters that you can’t not love makes for a pretty amazing story. This is definitely going on my list of favorites and ill definitely be re-reading several times. Can Vanessa I complete her task? highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next . I recommend reading this series in order as its pretty amazing . I can’t wait to read more from this Author
This is the fourth book in this series which I enjoyed just as much as the previous books. I highly suggest reading the previous books to help your enhancement of this series. This is a great paranormal romance story. I found this book to be fast paced, engaging and full of entertainment. The characters pulled me in from the beginning and kept me turning pages to the end. They are connectable and truly made the story for me. Their growth and the growth of the plot throughout the story just added to it. This is the final book in this series and I can’t wait to see what is next for this author. This is a great ending to a great series. I won’t say too much about this book as I think you should just pick it up. It is a great series that brings steam to a new level and you don’t want to miss it. I highly recommend this book and this author. It is worth the pick up for sure.
The Box (Her Three Immortals Book 4) By Hazel Storm
5-stars
What a truly amazing conclusion to this absolutely incredible series!! The Box was everything I hoped it would be and more, it’s action-packed, exciting, intense, dynamic and so complex. I love how well the author tied everything together, and that all loose ends were all explained and done creatively.
I have felt invested in these characters from the beginning, it’s almost hard to believe the series takes place over a short amount of time as there is so much going on, and I’m so happy with how everything played out.
This is a series that needs to be read in order as each new book follows the last, so for reader enjoyment don’t read it out of order. I would highly recommend this series to anyone looking for their next one of a kind read, it’s a series you won’t want to miss!
This whole series has been a fun read for me and the last book wraps it up beautifully and leaves me wanting so much more! The world that Hazel Storm has created with this series has so much color and detail that I could easily envision it as a tv series. In-laws... 😒*Insert dramatic sigh* Vanessa is with her three men -gods- when she is quickly spirited away and finds herself in front of Alfie, the Goddess of Beauty (Aroz's mom!). Alfie has another task for Vanessa to complete. This time, she is to fill a box with eternal beauty and give it back to the Goddess of Beauty and she has to travel to the highest point in Tartarus in order to obtain it. Vanessa has never heard anything nice about Tartarus, the place all of the tainted souls reside; and yet, she takes it head in with some of her best buds beside her.
The Box is the fourth novel in the Her Three Immortal series by Hazel Storm.
I will admit that I have no read the other books in the series so I don’t know how Vanessa got to this point in the story but the premise and cover caught my attention so I thought I’d give it a try.
After reuniting the God of Lust with his alter ego, Vanessa is given the task by his mother to fill a box with eternal beauty which she has to travel to Tartarus to do it.
But she is going alone. She has a vast amount of characters to help her on this journey.
This made me want to read more Greek Mythology and read the previous novels in the series. I loved Vanessa’s dynamic with all of her lovers and how different yet sweet they were.
I read online that there were going to be spin-offs. I look forward to seeing who the spin-offs are going to be about while I read the series from the beginning.
THE BOX (HER THREE IMMORTALS BOOK 4) by HAZEL STORM - Review by Allyson Ware
Just like the other three books in this series, I was sucked in to another dimension. For a few hours at least. If I had the choice to stay in this world with these characters I absolutely would. The author brings an amazing end to this series, even though I don't want it to.
I have never been a huge fan of romance, but there is just too much to like about these novels. The characters obviously have developed their personalities, but the depictions of the overworld and underworld are outstanding. Even if you do not feel like you would enjoy this book, pick it up anyway. I can almost guarantee you'll find yourself roped in and unable to get loose.
Vanessa is back in the last book of this series, and this is my favorite adventure yet. Vanessa must steal eternal beauty for Alfie (Aroz’s mother, who also happens to be the Goddess of Beauty), and she must go all the way to the tip-top of Tartarus to get it. Will she be able to complete her task? Will she be able to resist sneaking a peak at the eternal beauty for herself? Once again, the characters in this book make the tale come alive and keep the pages turning. To get the most enjoyment out of this book, I recommend reading the first three books, as well - you will not be disappointed. This series is a must for anyone who loves steam and romance alongside mythology and action/adventure. 4 stars!
Excellent read! This is the fourth book in the series and it may have been the best one yet. In this book there is more drama and involvement from the brother’s evil mothers. Watching Vanessa grow into her role in the underworld, juggle her 3 men and trying to complete silly tasks for their mothers is a wild ride. She handles herself nicely, she even preforms a hero act that comes back to bite her but, that just proves time and again why she has snagged the hearts and protection of the three most powerful Gods. In the end she is promoted and I was ecstatic to get a prologue on how they were all enjoying their new lives. This series was a fantastic, fun, romantic, dramatic ride and I enjoyed every minute. I can’t wait to see what comes next from this author!
Enthralling series I just can’t get enough of this series. Absolutely attached to the characters and the whole world of realms. More often than not by book 4 I start to lose focus in a book series or I find the storyline starts to become stilted but that is definitely not the case here. Each book is refreshing and has its own flavour. Book 4 finds Vanessa on another mission for an untrusting goddess and navigating her new found connections with the gods. Romance, humour, action and mythology had me glued to the pages. I just didn’t want it to end and now I am eagerly awaiting more. So if you love paranormal stories, characters that you will fall in love with and on-point world building then this author and series is for you.
