But this guy getting murdered? That sure has my attention. Because if I don't figure out who killed him, my mom is going down for the crime. Although there's one thought that I can't shake from my mind as I sort through the mounting evidence: maybe she actually did it.

And if that's the case, who the hell is this woman who's returned after all these years?

Finding mom

This is a story about how Tess discovers more about her abilities to Soulwalk. She is having trouble with flashbacks and being able to tell what is real and what is in the past. Finn and Javy help her find a way through. A leader of a strange self-help cult is murdered and all signs point to Tess’s mom, Rebecca, being involved. Tess investigates to discover the truth and to learn more about her mom’s past.

Tess is back and we are off on one hell of an action packed adventure. The storyline is fantastic with lots of mystery, suspense, intrigue and tons of danger. The characters are fantastic and well Tess totally kicks ass! A great addition to this series!

Wow book 3 in this amazing urban fantasy adventure series and Tess Skye is back and this time she is really involved in solving the mystery murder of a self-help guru as her mother is accused of this. A mother who has been absent from her life for the past ten years but who she heard call out to her for help. Tess dives in completely to soulwalk in the body of the freshly murdered Reg Samuels and gets caught up in more than she bargained for as the theatre is set aflame with her, Javy, Finn and Ella and many cops all trapped inside it. Furthermore Ella, her dog is accused of attacking the newly widowed wife of the guru and she is powerful and wants Ella killed. Tess ends up fighting not only for her own life but that of her mother and Ella who she loves. She suffers from soul shock which is a first, and needs help as this is making her see things even when not soul walking and making her day to day life a danger to her and those around her. There is more than one suspect in this murder case and the clock is ticking so Tess has to get her act together if she is to save her mother from the corrupt police who are in the pockets of Wanda the widow of Reg who has more than one chip on her shoulder. I love these Tess Skye novels as they are so full of non-stop action and I really enjoy the bond between Tess and Ella who is so loyal and I look forward to book 4 as more of Tess's past will surely be revealed now that her mother has surfaced.

Tess is on a dangerous action-filled filled case, with enemies surrounding her, including some dirty police! I love the really unique and quirky characters in this book and Tess and Ella are my favorite. Tess and Ella’s conversations really cracks me up! The killer is laser-focused on their revenge and their eye is on making Tess disappear. This book is action-packed, with danger, murder, soulwalking, a navigator, dirty police, an Immortal, mystery, payback, jealousy, suspense, humor and twists and turns!

Disappointed by Tess

After the first two books and the experiences she'd been through, I hoped that maybe she'd get smarter. I really dislike a main character that is that slow to learn, I get that she's stubborn, even as she is doing contradictory smart things. But she is really dumb in too many ways to keep.me interested in her character. She is surrounded by a really great group.of people that are fascinting characters, still not enough though.
I doubt I'll read any more of these books. So many other books so little time.

Bomb Shell (Tess Skye Book 3) by D.N. Erikson is an amazing story to read. This is book number three in this amazing series that I have been hooked on since the beginning. I highly recommend this story to everyone who love reading urban fantasy.

What a great book 3. Non stop adventure, surprises along the way, gripping and my favourite the dog Ella. Twist so exciting Could not put this down from chapter 1.

Great modern fantasy

If you like your contemporary fantasy, fast-paced and fun, then this series is definitely for you. With a developing cast of characters and brilliant overarching plot with sub plots in between, it keeps the pages turning very nicely.
I only started the series by taking a chance on Amazon and I'm so glad I did. More please 🙏 😀

Same story

I am a bit over impossible odds and corrupt cops. Tess really doesn’t listen or seem to learn. This felt like a teenager acting on raw emotions not an adult. Disappointing.

Ended too soon

Another weird and wonderful adventure. I don't particularly care about the characters, but somehow this author keeps me going. Neat cliffhangers at the end to make you want to read the next book.
