This book was created to encourage kids to think critically and be curious about how the world works.
Author Temi Díaz writes the story as his childhood self, remembering all the things he was curious about but grownups ignored.
Tired of not getting answers to his questions, he embarks on a journey to find the answers to the questions he has. He soon realizes that not everybody is curious to learn and that some people are okay without knowing the world's whys.
He also understands that the people who do wonder about the whys are the ones that make the world a better place. He learns that it is essential to ask questions, and curiosity is the first step to knowledge.
It's Okay to Ask will teach you the critical lesson of trusting yourself and finding the inner truth that guides you throughout life.
Temístocles Díaz M. is a writer, film producer, and entrepreneur from Panama City, Panama. During the pandemic, he created Inner Truth Books to strengthen children's and adults' emotional intelligence through stories that teach self-empowerment, values, authenticity, empathy, and more. The author truly believes everyone is unique in this world, so it is essential for kids to conserve their authenticity and for adults to get back to it to achieve their fullest potential.
This little book is so precious and it's a must for all parents, uncles and aunts, grandparents to give to their kiddos. Illustration is awesome and the teachings just perfect. I'll recommend it to all my friends and family, especially the ones with kids! Honestly, adults should read it too to be aware of what to tell kids when they ask such questions. I loved it.
i am not sure for hundred percent but i am thinking this was a Goodreads giveaway win?? out on August 8, 2021. i got it on October 13, 2022. now i wish to explain my review ...i am rating a high 4 stars almost 5 ...i did read an ebook kindle copy. i would think if you are going to read this please read through a handheld book. saying that i would also advise ...go through your local library. i have noticed after doing this (most recently. i think Amazon has a tendency (as well as reviewers, who are like myself (what i mean there is that i am never paid or give reasoning to say this or that. it is my own opinions, and you will see why i feel as a i do. i will never allow someone to tell me how to feel.), give an honest review, telling why and for reasoning they are giving such stars ...and i am never rude, i am honest. i never give a 1 star. that seems just cruel. and when i give a lower number of stars, i state why? what was wrong with the item, product, books, whatever i might have been. ripping folks is not cool and so is not called for.) to only recommend books (authors) that are on their "preferred list" not all authors are equal on their platform which breaks my heart for the authors who don't get as much love. all authors need help and recognition for their amazing reads ...no matter the genres or style. it is that one break that gives them the pop of folks reading their books. i can only imagine.) ...so that is an ebook from my local library reading through the kindle ...so to me ...i am not an expert in understanding why it is different ...but when it is from your local library situation verses directly from Amazon it is able to move, enlarge and so on to see the text and illustrations closer and get up close and personal. but when you do it say directly from Amazon using Kindle Unlimited ...that feature is not available? i am using the Kindle Fire. no clue what version but it is not old, but it is not brand new. i pray (hope) you get my point there. i am so blessed (happy) to promote to little ones (their parents, guardians) reads they might enjoy. i know as a kid ...i loved it when my mom (dad or babysitter) would read to me ...seeing the pictures, enjoy the illustrations that was awesome. so that feature of being able to enlarge picture or text would be awesome through you kindle. so, i would lean on a real handheld book ...but i think it doesn't seem fair for the folks reading through a kindle to be any different. amazing read. cute illustrations. and fun times. learning is fun and continuing to learn over and over. no matter the age ...all times it is fun to learn. reading is a hobby and so many folks find it a great experience. please read. laters.
