Then dive into this little book, full of simple, achievable ways to help you reduce your carbon footprint. From tips on creating a more eco-friendly home and ways to reduce your plastic use, to advice on shopping sustainably, within these pages you will discover everything you need to know to help you make planet-friendly choices and live a more sustainable life.
A few practical action points mixed in together with many unrealistic ones. "Don't but individuals gifts for Christmas" is one of those. If it wasn't such an important topic I would give this book 0 stars. Also, organic farming does not necessarily have a smaller carbon footprint, see a Nature 2018 study about Swedish pea farmers. Having a statement: "buy local, organic produce" as one of the top ten tips for a greener life, when in fact it is not a fully resolved issue and certainly not the focus of solutions proposed by climate science, summarises why this book falls short for me.
Good overview with some handy tips and tricks. Would have liked to see the reports where the facts/ figures came from so I could do some further reading.
