The Heroes and Villains saga continues with the fifth book in this scorching hot organized crime romance series that brings your superhero fantasies to life…
the the the woman caught in between…
After the destroyer Niberu obliterated my home planet, I have made it my mission to stop him. On Earth, my siblings and I are finally coming close to making a real we have two of the three power jewels Niberu seeks to build his ultimate weapon of annihilation, and as long as we can keep them out of his hands, we will be able to protect this planet.
But when one of those jewels goes missing, I track it to a human scientist, Daisy, and her boyfriend-turned-monster. They are as desperate as I am to prevent Earth’s destruction, but instead of merely keeping the jewels out of Niberu’s hands, they plan to use them to create their own weapon.
I cannot deny that vengeance would be sweet -- and I cannot deny the feelings Daisy stirs in me, feelings her boyfriend encourages me to act on. We both know Daisy deserves everything, and so we will give it to her, a god and a monster on our knees at her service.
Will our love be enough to build the ultimate weapon . . . or will it obliterate the future I am allowing myself to want?

This book is probably my least favourite in the series thus far. It follows on from Magician where Lucas destroys one of the power gems to save Rora from Conan and her father, Niberu. However, Hela and Thor don't believe he actually destroyed it and Thor has been sent to scavenge for it. When he gets there, he's told a young woman has just been and when Thor hunts her down to get the gem, he finds out she is planning to use it to enhance her boyfriend's powers to fight Niberu. Daisy and Ben have been together for years but when a radiation leak turned Ben into a giant purple monster, they've been looking at an open relationship which is where Thor comes in. Overall, this book just felt really rushed and a little disjointed. I don't feel like it flowed as well with the actual plot of the story, it felt like it was really just there to find a way to include Thor to be honest.
I saw someone recommend this on TikTok and I’m so glad they did. This is such a fun/sexy series. Totally for Marvel fans who want some sexy times thrown in. These are super short too, easily read in one sitting.
3.5 Stars I think this one is my least favorite of the series so far. It kind of felt like a filler book on our way to the big showdown. I felt the connection between Daisy and Ben, and a little between Daisy and Thor. But I would really have liked a stronger connection between Ben and Thor, just as friends even. Daisy mentioned them talking multiple times but we never saw that from Thor's POV so we didn't really get to feel that connection. I did like the exploration of this relationship dynamic, but again the connection between Ben and Thor wasn't there and the story felt a little rushed.
I don't know what it is about it - but I'm just not a fan of the idea of a triad where all three partners are not equally involved with each other. Thor and Ben not being involved, but being involved with Daisy, just wasn't my cup of tea. Otherwise, it wasn't bad, though.
This was a really short read, only about 95 pages on Kindle. It's probably my least favorite of these series. I could not get a proper picture in my head of Ben. I know he would be Hulk and Daisy, I'm assuming, is Quake without the powers. A quick read to add to my list, but not very enjoyable.
I would rather give this a 3.5 star rating because I honestly liked the chemistry between the 3 main characters; however, they didn’t have much substance to them in my opinion. This was definitely a filler story in preparation for the finale.
I was a bit surprised to see "Hulk" there. But it was very nice. I liked to see Persephone's dungeons again. And also to see characters like Fallon, Lillith and Piper. Glad they are all happy 😂
i didn't like the relationship of this book and the spice was... something i gues haha, not my favorite in the series but it was great for the advancement of the plot
Parts of this I enjoyed but I must admit it didn't take me in the same way the others have done. I'm still looking forward to the final one and hope it lives up to the previous!
