“Descriptio Europae Orientalis” is an interesting latin Medieval source which describes several Southeastern European countries and “nations”, including Albania, Dioclea, Rascia/Serbia, Hungary, etc. Among others it includes certain comments regarding religious polemics towards Orthodox Christians and Bogumil sect - which the author condemns. Many historians believe that the author was a Dominican friar, possibly the Archbishop of Antibari.
