Beau has been a Texas Ranger for longer than he cared to admit. A mite longer than most and one of their best to boot. Now he wants to settle down and farm. He doesn’t drink or gamble like most, so he has some stashed away. His lieutenant has a plan to kill two birds with one stone. Ransom Falls is a likely place for him to settle down, but it needs cleaning up. Problem is, there are some important folks there that don’t want it cleaned up. You know how rich, greedy ranchers can be. No problem, just blame it on the injuns. Well Beau and his rangers never asked for no holiday. Very enjoyable story.
A exceptional story of how life can effect a man for good. A Texas Ranger had to go solve the mystery of a town where people were being kidnapped supposedly by an Indian tribe. There were many things that did not add up. Lots of twists and turns before the truth was exposed.
Another different author plenty of excitement mystery as well did the reading in a couple of days really enjoyed the story now awaiting the next book later this month
There was something juvenile about this one. The " heroes" were very naive and a bit stupid. The first on the series was better written, on my opinion.
Exactly what it said. I've got to start reading more about the books I get. Still it was a good story. Kept me occupied waiting for brakes and tires on the car.
