Second Chances and Heart-Stopping Suspense!
This story had everything I love—raw emotions, second-chance romance, and edge-of-your-seat danger. Cynthia and Sam’s chemistry is undeniable, and their shared history adds so much depth to their journey. The stakes couldn’t be higher, with family drama, buried secrets, and threats lurking around every corner.
The author masterfully blends heartache and hope with a fast-paced, gripping plot that kept me hooked. I found myself cheering for Cynthia and Sam to not only survive but to finally claim the love they were denied years ago. If you enjoy romantic suspense with emotional twists and a dash of redemption, this book is a must-read!

2nd chance and truth wins
I could not put this story down. This author is the best at creating male characters that just drive me insane and this story has more than one.
Gage saw something that made him walk out on the love of his life as well as his best friend. He finds out the truth years later when he becomes involved with a blackmail case involving Kurt’s family. Gage learns the truth about Cynthia and Kurt.
This story is full of mystery, excitement, secrets and suspense. I have to say Kurt’s brother Benny is just a person you want to hate. Well done R.C. Wynn. I really disliked him.
I enjoyed this read and how I couldn’t put it down. There are several different elements and this author pulled it all together to a very satisfying conclusion. Must read and look forward to more in the future!

Secrets always come back to hurt those involved. Sam and Kurt were best friends until he caught Cynthia and Kurt in bed together. He didn't even ask for details, just up and left. Now thirteen years later he understands what happened at the worst time. There's danger, suspense and family drama. Sad but happily ever after.
