"...could you ever imagine living somewhere else?” “Somewhere else is always where I imagine myself living.”
With the help of a kind stranger, Angie Lazar and her young daughter relocate to a small town where they hide from Angie’s violent ex-husband and her own poisonous family. For the first time in her life, Angie feels safe.
In her new job, Angie discovers a passion for brewing beer--and there’s definitely passion brewing with her boss, Jake. But he's off-limits. Or is he? Life gets more complicated when she meets Bodie, the sweet (and hot) tattoo artist who creates a custom dragonfly design to represent Angie’s changed life.
Just when Angie thinks she's escaped her past, betrayal and violence from an unexpected source force the questions: How safe is Angie? And what does she have to do to hang on to the new life she's made for herself?

There is a lot of family drama in this book from domestic abuse, dysfunctional evil family, affairs, scary exes... I was expecting terrible things. However, there was loving support from strangers who turned into family, safety, love, celebration and personal growth. Plus a happily ever after. Full novel and no cliffhanger
