I've always had a healthy obsession with fire. We have mutual respect for one another, our own love language. It's helped me immensely in my work as Fire Marshal of Paradise, NV. The only fire that's ever burned me has come from the female variety. I have a type, wild, spirited, and aggressive. Redheads are my weakness, drawing me in like a moth. A chance meeting brought me to my current obsession, and after spending the best night of my life with her, she disappeared until a few weeks ago. We keep meeting at the wrong damn times, life always keeping her just out of reach. Until I see her fleeing the scene of my latest arson case. Now, it's my mission to find her and figure out if she's the one I've been hunting all along. My life can't be that cruel, could it?

The other brother
Cain's story was good. He and Ember are steamy together and there is some cute caveman sections. This one has some suspense and drama that kept the pages flipping.
Again, this series needs editing, and knowing that, it's important to ignore the errors and focus on the characters and stories. I intend on continuing in this series.

Loving This Series
We are back with the Morningstar MC series with Cane and Ember’s story this time and let me tell you it was just as good as the other books in this series! Cane is as hot as his job as Fire Marshall in his city and he loves redheads. Ember has had a terrible past and is looking for the person who destroyed her life which leads her right into the path of firefighter, Cane. They are explosive together but when Cane see’s Ember fleeing an arson scene, he has his worries. Now if only Ember can explain to Cane what is really going on.
This book was full of steam, suspense and some laugh out loud moments as well. I’m hooked on this series and can’t wait for more.

Humor, Spicy and Thrilling– MorningStar MC
I had the pleasure to read D. Williams, MorningStar MC series. This is my first experience reading about motorcycle clubs (MC). And D. Williams did not disappoint. She offers a glossary of slang associated with the MC and that is very helpful to people new to this world. She also provides the hierarchy of the MorningStar MC along with who is who. This allowed me to follow the characters with the club names while I started into this series.
The series follows each of the main club members and how they found their partners or what they call “old lady” or “old man”. Their stories are captivating, spicy and will pull at your heartstrings. The love these characters show for each other is what any reader would want for themselves.
Each book has romance, spice, thrill and even terror. Oh did I say spice…… The love stories are mixed with everything you could hope for from age gap, MMF, BDSM, and goes on. The spice is there and I love it’s not a slow burn relationship. She gives you what you are seeking and some! You see the love each member has for their MC family and their loyalty that is earned. You become engrossed into their world and you can’t stop. You get your fill and when the book ends, you jump right to the next one.
Cane is the Fire Marshal of Paradise, NV and the brother of Abel. He has become obsessed with a certain redhead, but she disappeared before he could get to know her. He now has her in his sights, but not where he would expect to find her. What is she hiding and is she to blame for all the fires in town? He has to go all in to find out what is going on and stop the fires that keeps him up at night.
D. Williams doesn’t stop here with this series. Oh no! She continues the stories in her spin off, MorningStar MC – Reno Chapter. It’s not complete yet, but she does not disappoint with this series either. It’s just as good as the original MorningStar MC and I can’t wait to see that to completion either!

Cane was on the shorter side but it packed a great big punch that's for sure. I will still keep on hoping that D. Williams gives us longer books when it comes to this MC LOL! Cane is a part of the MorningStar MC, and a yummy firefighter to boot. He wants what his brother has, but he hasn't found the woman yet. Of course he's quite busy with what appears to be a serial arsonist so he really doesn't need the distraction. Ember hooked up with Cane in the past, but now she's in his neck of the woods because of the arsonist, and with the way she's trying to investigate this evil, Cane really loses his mind & believes she's the actual arsonist LOL! Of course once he knows the truth, it's super bad, but the sparks they had in the past are still present. The evil setting off these fires has Ember in their sights so now Cane & his family are trying to protect her, but will they be able to at the end of the day?! You know what to do to find out as I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

HOT HOT HOT
Probably one of my favorites from the series so far and not because they finaly solved who was setting the fires all over town. The back story of Embers past was absolutely heartbreaking. Plus the connection and "fire" her and Cane had for one another made me feel like the room was getting hot. Learning Cane had a past that was just as heartbreaking too was a big shocker and explains why he is a "lady's man", with a type, and his job is basically his life other than the MC. You just have to read the story to understand why Cane is the way he is, as well as what the reasoning behind the arson. It is so crazy how the story unfolds that is full of a lot of suspense, hot hot hot sex and a connection between Cane and Ember that could risk Canes job as well both their lives as they are getting to the bottom of everything. Can their connection and love be strong enough to overcome their sad pasts or is it all to much and better left to burn out?

The Brooks men are definitely becoming my favorite! Cane & Ember’s story in the Morningstar MC series is so much fun! You’re taken for a ride with them and it’s quick, dirty 🥵, action packed, funny, emotional, witty, & full on Alpha. Cane knows what he wants and he is not afraid to mark his territory while trying to solve a mystery of who done it. I enjoy how their story is wrapped up and we’re teased at the end with our next characters. But we all know that they won’t be missed because they’ll continue as part of the MC family & the drama the come along.
PS. I’m hoping to see Annalise in the future, I was living for her attitude.

This is the sixth book in this phenomenal series and is Cane and Ember’s journey. It is heartwrenching to read about Cane and Ember’s pasts. Cane knows what he wants out of life, and he goes after it, and his latest passion is Ember. Cane is a fire marshal who is trying to solve the mystery of fires which are currently happening. The chemistry between Cane and Ember is combustible and undeniable. This is a well written story which is an emotional roller coaster, and is filled with drama, humor, family, witty banter, mystery suspense, action, and love, which leads to a steamy and riveting page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Holy cow! This as usual was an awesome story by D. Williams. The Morningstar MC is a truly excellent series. Book 6 in the Morningstar MC is abaount Cane. I am loving this series so much.
My heart broke for Ember and her loss. When she meets Cane their chemistry is so strong. The sad part is that Ember has lost so much due to fire & she’s looking for the one responsible. Cane is a fire marshal looking for the same person, but it seems Ember keeps popping up where the fires are. This book will definitely keep you turning the pages with everything that is going on.
I love how you still get the MC family in each book. With each book I’m loving it more & more.

Wow I so hate how Ember lost her family because of a totally demented and evil guy. She came to town to continue to get evidence and proof of this guy burning places down because of what she did to him years ago, and meets up with Cane who is a firefighter. They have explosive chemistry with each other and at first Cane thinks it's Ember starting the fires until she shows him proof. Great story and looking forward to more. Happy reading.

I loved Ember and her back story, she had been through so much but was still strong and moving forward. Cane had been burnt many times over but he was a strong and loyal man. This is a hot and steamy addition to this series. With his Ember’s slow burn, Phoenix is able to truly rise from the ashes and find his love. Once again, this new author leaves you wanting more. But she doesn’t disappoint with leaving little nuggets to tease you with future stories. I can’t wait to read the next story, especially since Abel is taking a vacation 😳.

Cane is abels brother who is a sexy hot firefighter and a mc of the club. This book follows him trying to help the club find out who is the arsonist behind all the fires displacing families. He then meets a smoking hot lady named ember who is also searching for the arsonist that harmed her family years prior. Cane and ember have a hot one night stand go their separate ways come back together to try to solve who is behind setting fires and plan to get married.

Cane and Ember, talk about a page-turner. Steamy and action packed. But it was left on a cliff hanger and I can't wait until the next book.

Cane is a great read. He and Ember are so hot together and not just because they are around fires a majority of the time. They each have jobs to do before they can settle into their future. The entire MC family as usual is brought into this storyline and brings happiness, laughter as well as sadness and anxiety that lead us into the next chapter.

I love this MC series! All the members make you laugh, and while they are intimidating, they love like no other. Cane is no different, and it's obvious with the instant attraction to Ember.
It's spicy! It's a fairly quick read with plenty of drama to keep you engaged the entire book.
I highly recommend it!! I can't wait for more.

Wow. A hot firemen. This book was everything I wanted and more. And we finally find out who the arsonist is. I couldn't put book down once started.
I loved Cane and Ember together, chance meeting sealed their fates. Ember is working hard to prove the arsonist like Cane, this brings them closer.

The chemistry between theze two is hot, Cane is a fire marshall and is on the hunt for an arsonist. Ember just seems to keep cropping up in the most inopertune moment and now Cane doesn't know what to believe.

By far my favorite of the series. Loved Cane and Ember. This book was full of fire and steamy hotness. There was also mystery of who done it. Many twists that I didn't see coming. What to read this well done story them check put Cane.

What a read! Cane and Ember’s story was hot!
It was super steamy and their chemistry was off the charts.

As always, the book was packed with action. It was such a fast and easy read. I enjoyed every second. Ends with a HUGE CLIFFHANGER, that has me impatiently waiting for the next book in the series.

Cane was absolutely fantastic! I laughed as well as cried in this one. D. Williams knows just how to hit you with all the feels. Each book gets better and better.
