Adam Smalls always has a smile on his face. Cracking a joke. That’s why they nicknamed him Bliss. He lives with his missus, Rachel. One day, they’re happily going at it, lubed up and plugged in, as it were, when two blokes from South London come bursting in.
Right geezers, they are.
And they’re going to force Adam into doing a job for them. One that he can’t joke his way out of. It’s on that job that he ends up fighting gangs of psychopaths, elderly ladies, even a ninja. Would you Adam and Eve it? But once there are bags of drugs and a gang of babies involved, well, it all gets a bit disgusting.
Seven brothers. Seven Smalls. Graphic content. Consider this a trigger warning for just about everything.
BACKY!!!😂😂 Oh my god! This was fucking EPIC! It had shit in here I never knew I wanted! I laughed out loud more times than I can count. You guys gotta get in on this series.
Bliss is darkly hilarious, using lots of song references and baby jokes to keep things light hearted as Adam tries to secure drugs in order to save his woman. This has quickly become my favorite godless series, with this one being the best so far. The violence is great, the humor is fantastic, and the story flowed so much better this time around. The other stories were great, but this one was fantastic! I now (im)patiently wait for the next installment to drop.
Holy Fuck this series is the shit. They just keep getting better and better. This one I laughed probably way more than I should have 😆😆😆😆 there is pegging, a baby suit, the brutality, the smalls family at just full of crazy fuckery the just keeps getting crazier. onto the next one this series fucking rules go read it if you haven't. Get them all on godless.com
Ash Ericmore's Smalls Family books continues with a hilarious and bloody story about Adam (Bliss) and what he has to do to save his girlfriend from a local gang. Ericmore rachets up the absurdity in this one, which to me just makes it that more funny.
This one took off quickly and was intense from the start. Things stayed that way throughout the book. The dark humor, the baby belt. What a crazy ride! The flow of this story is much better compared to the first two books. My favorite Smalls book so far.
I've just finished all three of these books in one sitting!!! At first I was a bit unsure of the short, sharp sentences in Ash's writing..but I quickly got used to them and they are what made these 3 books such a fast paced, action packed joy to read! Brutal, gory, fun filled stories!! I absolutely loved them and can't wait for more!! (The babies in book 3 were hilarious!! 😉😂)
Bliss introduces us to the next of the Smalls siblings, Adam. When we meet Adam, he’s lurking in an alley as a solitary police officer approaches, waiting for his chance to strike. The day was turning out quite differently from how Adam expected. The day began with some pegging. Look it up. Sadly, the erotic escapades were rudely interrupted, leading Adam on one hell of an adventure involving the Eastern Europeans, some locals who might have mistaken Adam for Edward, human trafficking, and a most unique fashion statement blending protection and style. Like all of the members of the Smalls clan we’ve been introduced to thus far, Adam has a certain moral flexibility and perversely dark humor. Unlike the previous two brothers readers had the pleasure of meeting, Adam seems perhaps less professionally adept at committing murder and a bit more fluid and driven by poor impulse control. It seems like he’s found the right woman, though, as she seems to compliment him well. These damn stories are just so good, the fast-paced action and black comedy infused into the few pages is potentially addictive.
Here we go again, diving into part three of the Smalls family tree. Hehe, rhyming, you can definitely tell Adam is different. For one, he has something he cares about, which would be his girl Rachel. So when he's forced on a job to knock off the same Eastern Europeans from the previous story, you know this will go sideways. Plus, I love the nod to the last level about his leather jacket being nicked by his brother. As it seems, Adam gets pulled into his family's bullshit and has to break into a pub to steal drugs. Oh my God, the scene Ash set was bloody incredible, frightening and disturbing all simultaneously. But it was a fantastic read. I think this may be my favourite story yet. The scene where he uses the unique bodysuit was both genius and funny as hell as a development in the story. The fight scenes, as always, are seamless and gripping, and the ending made me smile if not for the morbid humour. Rachel and Adam seem to gel beautifully, and you start to realise they are as messed up as each other. The connection between Rachel and Adam is very bonnie and Clyde.
Ash gives us another brilliant tour of the senses with his visceral descriptions through a typical day in the life of a Smalls brother! Never would I have guessed that the quick-thinking brothers of this family would surprise me with not only more unique ways to kill, but also unique and grotesque methods of defense! From old, cleaver-wielding ladies spitting out busted dentures to spaghetti-twirling intestines and from bar table shields to living armor, this short read is packed with originality and action!
So good! I recently bought 7 Smalls: Extreme Horror and am working my way through the series. All three novella's have been 5 star reads for me so far so I'm really pleased these are finally available on amazon.
Another great short read from the small series. This one is of Adam and is girl. A great combination of fast paced action and some harsh intervention. With lots of blood and gore. Recommended
The Third Smalls book - and it’s brutal and hysterical !
Adam (Bliss Smalls) is rudely interrupted by some insistent South Londoners who want a piece of the Eastern European’s action.
Beating an octogenarian in front of her Russiany sounding son wasn’t how Adam planned his day. But neither was his baby armour nor actual ninja confrontation.
Very vivid. Very violent. Very hysterical. Very enjoyable.
My oh my. I didn’t see this coming. Ash has quite the imagination. This short story into Bliss’s life was pretty good. A baby bulletproof jacket…. That’s all I’m saying. Lmao
I am now officially addicted to this series. Can’t wait to read more about the Smalls family. If you like splatter with a side order of comedy read these books!
