This was incredible but the last episode blew me away. Winnie's story was amazing and I loved the relationship between Bug and Winnie was so moving and I loved all the members of the book club.
DNF. The voices are so confusing and going so fast. I always listen on speed 1.7 and I had to lower to 1.4 and I still couldn’t catch what was being said. Probably because English is not my first language and listening to British accent is more challenging. I have listened to some in the past but this one was very difficult. So sad, the story was really promising.
Book Lovers podcast by Jess Moore. Short listen of 10 podcasts of people who attend a book club at a small bookstore. They talk more about their lives and dating than about the book. Lots of humor about reality. Book 87 for 2023.
Listened to this book on an out of town trip to the doctor. It was hysterical and at moments heartbreaking. What a fun adventure with this group of friends who had gone through so much, very relatable.
I love audiobooks that have actual sounds in the background to make it seem real. Story overall very intriguing, but some things were a little cringe. Still enjoyed it though.
Cute romance with a bookstore, a book club, some goofy online dating, a bit of tragedy. Audible full cast production in podcast format, in ten 20-minute episodes.
What a superb heart warming story, which took me from laughing one minute to crying the next. Wonderful set of characters who were easy to relate to and well narrated. The ending (no spoilers) was a complete shock and left me emotionally connected to this book for days after. Great read!
On reread : I enjoyed this wayy better the second time around after taking some time to distinguish the voices . It really had me .
I however don’t think it’s flawless. I hated how Winnie’s arc just ended. That’s all I’m going to say.
But other than that I was really enjoying myself

This was really fun.. it is only that I got confused between the voices a bit , especially the ending was a bit confusing .. but overall I thought this was entertaining. I love the diversity in the characters.
This is an Audible Original Podcast. Each episode is like the next chapter in a book. It is the first story podcast that I have listened to. I feel that listening to an audio book IS reading a book. This podcast felt like listening to a full cast recording of an audiobook. So I am counting it as a book read. This is the story of a bookclub in a small bookstore. It took an episode or two to become familiar with the characters. By the 3rd or 4th episode, I wanted the best for all the characters. As the story unfolds, each character learns more about themselves as they come to love each other. The story is well told, and by the last episode, I was shocked, in tears, and heartbroken. By the end, I wished that it was a physical book because I wanted to hug it. This is not an advertisement for Audible. (Though I do enjoy much of their original content.) I really enjoyed this podcast. If you like a well told story, consider this podcast or another story podcast from your podcast provider.
