Ephesians: The Glory of Christ in the Life of the Church, A 13-Lesson Study

Rate this book
In his letter to the Ephesians, Paul celebrates God’s amazing grace that saves individuals, empowers the church, and, through both, reshapes the world. Although the forces around us may be antagonistic to the gospel, Christ is transforming all things for you and through you. This Reformed Expository Bible Study is designed for personal and group use. Each lesson connects to the rest of the Bible and holds to the same standards as the Reformed Expository Commentary a high view of Scripture; a Christ-centered focus; a Reformed theological basis; and an emphasis on personal application and prayer.

An average Bible study: not great, not terrible. Good enough most of the time, but verged on great at moments, but couldn’t quite sustain that level.

I read the commentary as l was doing the study. I found the study to be disappointing as it left out a lot of pertinent points made in the commentary. The commentary is written by Bryan Chappell. Time invested in reading the commentary would be time well spent to gain a deep grasp of the book of Ephesians.
