Well now, this is one exorcism gone horribly wrong. I love the stakes. Mob's little journey is quite horrific, too. Loving this volume.

Ugh, this was horrible. If I wanted to read a story about a kid being bullied there are so many much better authors. I mean Stephen King does some really good stuff with bullied kids who are eventually able to defeat their evil tormentors. But here it just goes on and on and on and on to the point of being not just bad but boring. This volume could use a trigger warning as it is in the teen area of the library and so many kids are bullied. Disappointing.

This volume was so good. We have Shigeo, Reigen and dimple and other psychics trying to save Minori, the daughter of a millionaire and we learn of the ghost possessing her - Mogami Keiji and his whole backstory and why he is the way he is and its fascinating. He defeats them all and when it seems others cant deafeat him, Shigeo finds a way to possess that girl himself and fight Mogami from within and he does and the battle inside is fascinating. Mogami almost corrupts him but thanks to dimple he is saved but we see a point where Shigeo could break and give up to negative emotions and that breaking point just shows how Mogami wanted to make Shigeo like himself, he is like the perfect opposite of Shigeo but now he is pissed and Mob at 100%...battle for Minori inside her body continues! And the plot, writing, conflicts, and everything was perfectly written by the author!

Copertina bellissima forse superata solo da quella del 9, uno dei volumi che preferisco. Uno schiaffo in faccia alla retorica dell'individuo unico e speciale, strizzando l'occhio alla paura della normalità e del mai abbastanza e riescendo a convenire quanto cazzo sia speciale non essere speciali; siamo ora al punto in cui Mob accetta la vita fuori da sè, l'alterità del mondo là fuori nelle sue multiple sfaccettature di bene e male (mogami potevi anche darti una calmata, c'ha 14 anni jesus) ed è strabiliante come in ordine ONE ponga la scoperta dell'altro, lo scontro con il grande male e, solo alla fine, per conferirne l'importanza che merita: l'accettazione del sè a 360 gradi, anche quelle parti che ci sembrano meno affini a noi, che non vogliamo vedere e che ci fanno paura. Opera d'arte, trattato filosofico ad inchiostro e carta carbone. Io, completamente rapita.

It’s amazing the impact that good people can have on one’s life- it’s changed Mob for the better and reading that in this volume was very inspiring ❤️

This was a really good volume overall. One of the most interesting characters in the series is introduced: Mogami Keiji. Mogami was a very powerful esper and turned into an evil spirit after he died and he is probably the strongest one Mob has ever encountered. At first, it seems like two very powerful beings clash to save a girl. It becomes so much more as we move on with the plot. We finally get to see how Mob's life would be without his powers. This is another important moment in Mob's life as an extremely powerful esper, very similar to Mogami. Mogami arc is not very long but a very memorable one indeed.

I have never written a review before, but I just want to say that damn I did not expect this volume to go as hard as it did. It touched me in ways that not even my favorite manga or anime have ever touched me, and that’s saying something. The topics in this manga hit so close to home for me growing up being bullied and damn did this volume almost make me cry. It was beautiful. 5/5 stars

This was a good volume, though it was at times hard to read. We are used to Mob being super powerful, so once things got to a certain point, we knew he could always protect himself. He chooses not to fight, to not use his powers against others, but that doesn't mean he can't. And in the past, he has fought (after losing consciousness at one point, but still).

This time around, things got really bad before he could protect himself. It was really hard for me to read what he went through, I had to take a break in between. But Mob has people/beings that genuinely care for him, and as powerful as he is, this manga really does emphasize the importance of connections. Mob's strength doesn't come just from his insane power, but from the connections he has with those he cares about.

There's also the fact that Mob has an innocence and kindness to him. A general goodness so innate that after his ordeal, he said he learned that he needs to be more grateful for the kind people in his life. He's honestly just so good. Which made what he went through even harder to watch. I wonder if what he went through will leave longer lasting effects than even he realizes. I've already requested the next volume.

Đầu tiên là, vẽ có nét hơn r vỗ tay, mỗi tội vẽ con ruồi còn tỉ mỉ và chi tiết hơn vẽ nhân vật =))). Từ đầu đặt ra case đi diệt Mogami một thiên tài tâm linh trong quá khứ vì cần tiền mà dùng năng lực để làm việc thiện ác lẫn lộn khiến bản thân bị chia đôi - đang trú trong 1 cô gái tỷ phú. Như là 1 lời giải đáp cho câu hỏi của Mob ở tập trước, nếu dùng năng lực làm điều ác sẽ tn? Con đường nào là đúng đắn?

Khi Mob thoát xác để nhập vào cô bé, đã có 1 cuộc chiến tư tưởng giữa Mogami và Mob khi Mogami dẫn dắt Mob vào 1 thế giới tưởng tượng nơi Mob cô độc và ko có sức mạnh, mục đích để lôi phần ác của cậu ra. Nhưng sự tin tưởng của những người xung quanh Mob ko những đã cứu linh hồn cậu mà còn thức tỉnh điều gì đó trong cậu, kiều mục đích của sức mạnh cậu đang mang. Đây cũng là lần đầu tiên 100% sức mạnh được giải phóng vì tính tích cực của Mob.

Tập này ngầu bá cháy.

Best in the series by far!!!

This volume had me hooked from the first page. Everything was at a climax and the whole volume felt like there was something at stake.
Mob’s development in this volume was everything that I was hoping it would be. From him being able to go into astral form to not being afraid by the end.
Everything was written really well to lead to this point.
We finally see an evil spirit who seems like they have the edge over Mob, not even the edge, who was absolutely destroying Mob.
I loved the other perspective that Mob sees and how he overcomes the temptation to use his powers for evil and rather used them to help the spirits that Mogami has been using.

I did not expect a random exorcism to go this hard. Mob, who has shut himself off from emotion to hold in his power, begins experiencing what it's like to still be him but to not have that power- can he still shut himself off? Is he right to? He doesn't want to use his power, but he still has it and it still protects him. The evil spirit begins talking about the origin of psychic power, challenging Mob's worldview, while Reigen and Dimple stand around wondering wtf they're supposed to do. We're almost literally seeing inside Mob's mind and it's great.

If the beginning of this volume was anything like the end, it would have probably ended up being my favorite volume of this series thus far, but what a cliffhanger! I cannot wait to dive into volume nine. I do appreciate that time was taken to set up a new villain throughout this volume, and it served as a nearly perfect set up to what seems like will be an epic manga fight in the next volume. Mob is just so OP and so exaggerated; I love it.

If you enjoy a series that doesn’t take itself too seriously, I highly recommend getting into this one.

Volume ini sangat elok. Shigeo, Reigen dan Dimple serta paranormal lainnya yang mencoba menyelamatkan Minori, putri seorang jutawan yang dirasuki oleh Mogami Keiji. Pengembangan karakter Kageyama lewat pendeskripsian dunia yg bertolah belakang dengan kenyataan cukup menarik. Plot, penulisan, konflik, dan semuanya ditulis dengan baik oleh One sensei. Bahkan style beliau pun sudah bisa ditoleris LOL!

Okay now that I finished this book I just can't wait for the season 2 anymore. Seeing what happened here animated with the great work of the voices actors and the ost will be just... so beautiful

The more I read the manga the more I just want to throw them at poeples face and force them to read them because ONE do a really good job with his characters.

De mis volúmenes/arcos favoritos! Es excepcional cómo intentan quebrar de a poco a este muchacho de 14 años a través de un "what if" que es desolador y que consume. Es excepcional cómo Mob se hace más fuerte al saber que este HUBIERA no existe, mas tiene que agradecer porque cuenta con gente que lo quiere y lo protege!! 100% gratitude, 100% courage.

This volume was straight-up psychological horror. It was painful. Of course, it was well-written, but it was still painful because of the subject matter. I'm not sure whether to be angry or not, really. But on another, happier note, I have come to the conclusion that Mob deserves a pet cat.
