The Incomplete Dudeist Priest's Handbook is a useful and informative tool for any practicing Dudeist. Written by a longstanding Dudeist priest for other Dudeist priests, this breezy handbook provides helpful advice for performing Dudeist ceremonies, explaining Dudeism, offering Dudely counsel, life skills for a Dudeist, and more.Written by Reverend Gary M. Silvia, Dudeism's Minister of Public Relations (and also The Shipping Dude), this handy resource starts with a detailed and thoughtful examination of Dudeist philosophy. Next you'll find a complete guide for solemnizing weddings (including handy scripts), as well as other ceremonies a Dudeist may be called upon to officiate. The final section has some helpful and humorous life skills advice, including how not to be eaten by a bear, and of course much more. Insightful, informative, and always fun, this handbook really fits right in there.
Dudeism. It’s the practice of “Just Takin’ ‘Er Easy, Man.” Enjoying an herbal supplement in a bath of Mr. Bubbles while listening to “Whale Sounds.” Cruising to the sounds of Creedence while sipping on a Sarsaparilla. It’s hard to go with the flow when our thinking is uptight and there’s a lot strands in our old heads. The Incomplete Dudeist Priest’s Handbook definitely abides! It’s the book for it’s time and place. It fits right in there.
Short and to the point and admittedly incomplete, this is a must for anyone who has more than a passing interest in Dudeism. Yes it steals from a half dozen religions and/or philosophies, but the intent is to add a positive outlook to this whole durn human comedy. It also has some decent templates for actual officiating. Bar's over there.
I really mean it! Reading these hundred-and-something pages in one sitting really has changed my life! I first thought dudeism was kinda fun but it's a lifestyle that will improve my life forever!
