it’s in the breeding!

with a bloodline that includes maternal mafioso & paternal IRA membership, I can dig how Eamon Martini seems a natural as a secret agent/spy/“Taken”-type rescuer! what I liked most about this book however, aside from the non-stop action, was how it made me turn to Google to look up The Troubles. I was embarrassingly undereducated about that aspect of history and I’m always a fan when fiction encourages me to learn more!

Rose Garden Delight

This deserves six star rating If it was available. A very well developed story that is paced beautifully with a superb cast of characters, both good and bad. Fans of thrillers can’t help becoming fans of P.M. Heron.

Great read and first time reader of an Eamon Martini book. Fast paced and moves around the globe with many characters interacting. Will certainly watch for his next book.

Very good thriller. Probably 75 pages too long. Lots of subplots spinning around. Lots of bodies. Lots of betrayal.

A debut novel from a budding author.

Eamon Martini has family in different parts of the world. When you need to trust someone, it helps to have people you can rely on.

I applaud the author for the complex nature of the main character and his overall devotion to family. I think the author has a potential. Perhaps a bright future with some professional development in the book business.

Could not put it down!

The President's grandson has been kidnapped by a nearly psychotic middle east man whose family was killed by a U.S. missile during the man's wedding. Unfortunately for the U..S. the man has a German cousin who is a multi-billionaire who is more than happy to finance his revenge. They want the British Prime minister assassinated. Eamon Martini is hired to do the job in exchange for the return of the child, unharmed. If he fails, the boy will be mailed to the White House in pieces. Full of twists and turns with corruption in high offices, double dealing and betrayals on all sides. Believable characters, some deserving of their fate and others in the wrong place at the wrong time. Very difficult for the powers that be to take the high moral ground. Culpability has long reaching consequencies. Unintended results of the US accidental bombing of the wedding cause the further deaths of others and bring to light the corruption of many in high places. Martini is on a deadline, doing a broken field run among all the different factors to save a child from a horrific death.
