This book was gifted to me for my birthday by my College bestie, Hershey.

Through It All is a quiet, comforting read that gently reminds you that God’s grace does not leave—even in seasons of pain, waiting, and uncertainty. The book speaks softly yet firmly about trusting God when life feels heavy, offering reassurance rather than easy answers.

What stood out most was how it frames grace not as something we earn after surviving hardship, but as something that sustains us while we are going through it. Each chapter feels like a pause—a moment to breathe, reflect, and feel held by God’s presence.

By the end, you’re left with a deep sense of comfort: that no matter how messy or unclear the journey is, you are never walking alone. God’s grace remains constant, steady, and sufficient—through it all. 🌿

Reread: A book for those who are lost in their season, and actually more on facing the new season. I decided to re-read it as I wasn't able to rate and review it the first time I read it.

I couldn't really take in the part about grieving the former season maybe because I'm thinking of something else... but I do apreciate the part about approaching new season and being patient with the transitions.

This quote from the book really resonated with me:
"I don't have it all together yet but I am working on it." 🙏

It is exactly what I needed to hear right now.

To pause and take a rest. To take one step at a time. To take life slowly and easily for we are not alone. That in everything we do everyday, God is within us. Guiding us. Helping us. Reminding us that there's more in our life. That He has plans for us.

It makes me look more in my life. To consider things and understand why things happen the way it happens.

[4.5] Short read. While I think it’s enough to comfort and validate me, I wish some parts can be longer.

Parang, just a thought, na sana nabasa ko ‘to years back… pero I’m also glad coz I can relate on some parts — ginawa ko at ginagawa ko pa.

Read this in one sitting today, an hour or so… yung first day, 2-3 pages lang talaga nabasa ko. XD

This is a short but meaningful book. Lots of transitions, seasons and new beginnings for me. But one thing is for sure, I am not going through it all alone. I will always have Jesus with me.

Felt like I did myself good when I grabbed this book mid-breakdown. This is one of the books that had fought with and for me. Thank you, Joena. 🤍

Na-hype lang siguro ako pero I think hindi pa siya for me. And also, sobrang irritating din na hindi consistent yung font like totoo ba 'to??? Parang sa isang sentence dalawa yung font. Nawalan tuloy ako ng gana basahin!

A book that a lot of people can surely relate to. A very quick read, yet has a lot of points to ponder on. A book about letting go and moving on, and learning how to love and forgive yourself.

Wish there were more to read. Also page numbers would be good to add, too.
